Abstract

Coffee is a commodity that is currently developing. However, many coffee farmers in remote areas experience problems in increasing their business along with high market demand due to a lack of business support tools. The purpose of this paper is to find out the materials used in designing a wet coffee bean peeler machine. Design the frame of a wet coffee bean peeler machine using Solidwork software. Wet coffee bean peeler analysis. The type of iron to be used in the frame of this wet coffee bean peeler is galvanized angle iron with a size of 22 x 22 x 1.8 mm. The results obtained show that the von misses stress calculated using solidworks has the greatest stress of 69,654 Mpa. For von misses stress by manual calculation, a value of 71.707Mpa is obtained. The results obtained show that the displacement calculated using solidworks has the greatest stress of 0.293 mm. For displacement with manual calculations, a value of 0.163 mm is obtained. The results obtained show that the Factor of Safety value calculated using Solidworks has the greatest stress of 2,928 ul. For the Factor of Safety with manual calculations, a value of 2,830 ul was obtained.

Abstract

Learning is quickly developed by several experts, both from professionals in this case are observers of children, namely those who work as psychologists supported by hardware and software makers from the computer field. This aims to stimulate children in accepting and recognizing learning methods that are fun and not boring, namely learning to play, especially for children with an age interval of 5-10 years. Because childhood is still a difficult playing period if invited to learn seriously. The method used in this study is using the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method with stages such as concept, design, material collection, manufacturing, testing and deployment. Making Islamic Religious Education Educational Game Applications using Construct 2 is able to help foster honest character, responsibility, respect for others and manners. Game application results provide fun entertainment and education for children aged 5-10 years, especially with the theme or educational background of the Islamic religion. This way of learning in the form of adaptation of learning while playing is very attractive to children.

Abstract

The residential area of ​​Gunung Malati, Karyamukti Village, Campaka District, Cianjur Regency is a village in a hilly environment with an elevation of 900 - 1000 m above sea level and a slope approaching the steep category of 8o -25o. With this geographical condition, the people of Gunung Malati Village, where almost 80% work as UMKM players, are located on land that has a high vulnerability to the risk of natural disasters. This study aims to analyze land capability in settlements, as well as to find out how many residential houses the residents built on land that was not suitable for settlements. The research method used is a quantitative method where there is primary data collection, and a spatial analysis approach using a Geographic Information System (GIS). The research results obtained are that most of the residential areas of Gunung Malati Village are in the classification of low land development capability with a maximum land cover recommendation of 10%, there are even no guidelines for built-up land (non-building) because it is located in an area with a relatively high potential for natural disasters. at risk in 47 residential buildings. The results of this study are useful as a determinant of the suitability of land use in Gunung Malati Village, to reduce the high level of risk in the Gunung Malati Village when natural disasters occur.

Abstract

BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan is one of the vocal groups originating from South Korea, which is currently popular among Indonesian teenagers, resulting in many fans providing positive and negative comments through Twitter social media. The method used to determine whether these comments are positive or negative is by conducting sentiment analysis. The stages to perform data analysis are Preprocessing to clean the data, word weighting, labeling data into positive and negative classes, classification, and data visualization using pie charts. In this study, Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine, were used for comparison, result of an accuracy score is 79% for Naive Bayes and 81% for Support Vector Machine. Among these two methods, Support Vector Machine achieved a higher accuracy score, and the sentiment analysis revealed that the comments obtained from Twitter users are predominantly positive.

Abstract

Light and architecture have a very strong relationship. Light is essential in the creation of attractive and successful buildings, but it may also show flaws. During the day, light glows along the building's façade, giving it a new appearance. From ancient temple and church builders to today's notable architects such as Tadao Ando, Jean Nouvel, and Louis I. Kahn, architects have always used this aspect. Light can also be employed to create an impact on architecture, as shown in the Empire State Building's various lighting usage. Artificial light is particularly significant in architectural displays, and light is very important in the construction of home buildings at night. This study uses qualitative methods with a descriptive-comparative approach to night lighting settings in outdoor spaces, applying Lumion 11, Enscape 3.4, and Twinmotion Edu 2022 rendering software. Models imported from SketchUp's 3D Warehouse are provided spotlight lighting at the same point in each application, as well as Omni lights to support lighting at night. Based on the results of the analysis of the use of Lumion 11, Enscape 3.4, and Twinmotion Edu 2022 rendering software, it is possible to conclude that Lumion 11 and Twinmotion Edu 2022 provide a very photorealistic outdoor space rendering experience at night, with each software platform offering good lighting features.

Abstract

Philosophy serves as the foundation or basis of human thinking in the academic world, providing rational grounds for the pursuit and research of knowledge. Both philosophy and science are continuously evolving to address the challenges of the time. They act as bridges between change and progress in the world of science and technology. The current technological advancements, known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Society 5.0, have shifted human lifestyles from manual labor to the utilization of sophisticated technologies like the internet, robots, artificial intelligence, and computers. This period is often referred to as a dynamic era, as society faces numerous challenges resulting from the rapid development of science and technology. Present-day society must be proactive in confronting the challenges of the times and capable of analyzing the needs for technology.

Abstract

The following paper was made to understand the process, and defects from metal casting of Low Carbon Steel GS-25 CrMo 4 Bucket Teeth Adaptor for Excavator with furan molding method and how the results of the Chill Test on the product. Metal casting process of making objects by melting metal and pouring it into a mold cavity. Metal casting has been discovered and continues to be developed, one of which is Sand Casting, where there are various types of methods in making molds including the Furan, Disamatic, and Jolt Squeeze methods. The method used in this research is the Furan method which can be used to make objects with complex shapes such as the Adaptor component used in the Bucket Teeth for Excavators. The casting material used in this casting is GS-25 CrMo 4 steel which has strong and tough properties. All manufacturing processes are carried out through several stages, namely; design, model and core making, mold making, smelting, pouring, fettling and finishing, and quality control. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be seen that several rejections from these products include: cold shut, missrun, inoculant inclusion, slag inclusion, and sand inclusion.

Abstract

Foundation is the part of the construction that transmits the load of the superstructure supported by the foundation with its own weight into the soil and rock that lies below it. The purpose of bored pile foundation planning is to design the dimensions of the foundation in the apartment building, calculate the axial and lateral bearing capacity, calculate settlement, calculate the reinforcement used and calculate the cost required for the construction of the bored pile foundation. The bored pile foundation in the apartment building used a circular foundation with a diameter of 0,5 meters which has a depth of 21 meters and located on sandy soil. The axial end bearing capacity of the bored pile uses the Reese & Wright method with a calculated value of 70,450 tons and the ultimate pile bearing capacity of 451,766 tons. Lateral bearing capacity of a single pile using the Evans and Duncan method is 16,359 tons and the maximum lateral bearing capacity of the group is 36,809 tons and the maximum deflection value is 1,419 mm. The bored pile foundation based on the calculation results refers to SNI 2847:2013 concerning Requirements for Structural Concrete for Buildings, for longitudinal reinforcement using 7D19 reinforcement and for spiral reinforcement using D16-40 reinforcement. The budget plan for the foundation and pile cap is Rp. 10.704.000.000.

Abstract

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have become an important tool in the management of spatial information in various fields, including religion and belief. Regarding Islamic places of worship, mosques have a central role as centers of worship, community activities, and social. With the increasing role of geospatial technology, the application of GIS in the management and mapping of mosque locations has become an interesting and relevant research area. This abstract discusses the use of GIS technology in the management and mapping of mosque locations. The author outlines how geospatial technology has been used to collect, integrate, and analyze mosque-related data, such as the mosque's geographic location, existing facilities, and other related data. The purpose of this writing is to build a Geographic Information System that can convey information in the form of locations and facilities in the Jakasampurna area mosque.In addition, this paper also considers the benefits of implementing GIS in mosque management and mapping, including management efficiency, community needs analysis, and sustainable development planning.

Abstract

Twitter merupakan situs jejaring sosial yang digunakan untuk berkomunikasi dalam pesan singkat yang sering disebut “kicauan”. Jumlah pengguna Twitter di Indonesia mencapai 24 juta penguna pada Januari 2023. Belum lama ini, Twitter mengalami beberapa perubahan seperti mengubah beberapa kebijakan mengenai centang biru pada akun Twitter, batasan jumlah karakter pada satu unggahan Tweet, dan mengubah beberapa fitur yang ada pada aplikasi tersebut. Perubahan tersebut justru membuat pengalaman pengguna menjadi buruk dan tidak puas. Dilihat dari ulasan yang diunggah pada Google Play Store, terdapat banyak ulasan buruk seperti terjadi bug setelah update, tampilannya menjadi jelek, bahkan beberapa pengguna memberikan peringkat bintang 1 pada aplikasi tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan mengukur kualitas user experience pada aplikasi Twitter menggunakan metode User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) yang terdiri dari 26 item pernyataan yang terdapat pada 6 variabel yaitu daya tarik, kejelasan, efisiensi, ketepatan, stimulasi, dan kebaruan. Hasil analisis ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi dan saran pada Twitter. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Google Form, pengolahan dan analisis data kuesioner menggunakan Data Analysis Tool untuk mengetahui hasil validasi data, nilai rata-rata, dan benchmark. Berdasarkan hasil analisis perhitungan nilai rata-rata, variabel daya tarik mendapatkan nilai 1,733, variabel kejelasan mendapatkan nilai 1,785, variabel efisiensi mendapatkan nilai 1,728, variabel ketepatan mendapatkan nilai 1,605, variabel stimulasi mendapatkan nilai 1,308, dan variabel kebaruan mendapatkan nilai 0,395. Setelah melakukan perhitungan rata-rata, didapatkan hasil nilai benchmark aplikasi Twitter. Variabel daya tarik, kejelasan, efisiensi, dan ketepatan berada pada kategori Good, variabel stimulasi berada pada kategori Above Average, variabel kebaruan berada pada kategori Below Average. Kata Kunci: Analisis, Twitter, User Experience, User Experience Questionnaire, Data Analysis Tool, sosial media.
