Abstract

Any costs allocated by farmers will directly affect the amount of revenue and the level of income or profits of farmers. The thing that must be understood is to find out the size of the costs incurred in farming each planting season, it takes a source of information related to the costs incurred, selling prices and the amount of production in farming. The source of information referred to is farming bookkeeping, farming bookkeeping will provide information for farmers about the development of farming activities every planting season. In explaining their farming, the participants never took notes and even compiled books in their farming. farmers in Koya Koso generally do not manage their farming costs well. Farmers understand that land preparation costs and planting costs are the total costs or total costs in farming. While the cost of using tools in farming needs to be taken into account, because basically the tools used in farming have a limited economic life. After farmers understand and are able to distinguish between fixed costs and variable costs in farming, the next activity is to provide training to farmers to calculate the amount of revenue and income. In general, farmers consider the value of the sale is the net profit received in one growing season. Abstract

Taxes and retribution are important things in supporting economy condition, especially for the state. The existence of socialization regarding taxes and the importance of paying taxes to traders/entrepreneurs is expected to increase their level of awareness, trust and compliance as taxpayers that will increase the awareness of paying taxes. When people have awareness, paying taxes will be done voluntarily, not compulsorily, thus helping local governments in maximizing tax revenues that can be used fully in the development process to improve people's welfare. The purpose of this activity is traders around the Cigombong Market, VIM Village in Jayapura City. Traders can know the importance of awareness in paying taxes and retribution in Jayapura City, and traders can practice how to pay taxes and retribution in Jayapura City. The results of this activity in general, include the achievement of objectives regarding knowledge, understanding the importance of taxes and retribution and practicing how to pay. There were 18 traders who came as participants. They are willing to continue this information to traders around Cigombong who did not have time to attend the socialization. Overall, the activity can run smoothly and success.Keywords: Socialization, Taxes, Retribution

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a rapidly growing profession in Muara Tae Village. However, most of the entrepeneur in Muara Tae Village still have not implemented bookkeeping for their business finances. This raises various financial problems in the future. Therefore, to overcome the risk of problems that might occur, we conduct counseling on financial accounting in the form of a simple cash book. The purpose of this activity is to provide an understanding of the importance of financial bookkeeping in the form of a simple cash book so that business people in Muara Tae Village can understand the importance of simple financial bookkeeping and can apply it in running their business. The method used is observation and counseling to residents of Muara Tae Village who have businesses. The activity began with distributing questionnaires through the Muara Tae Village SME’s WhatsApp group, preparing counseling materials, and distributing outreach invitations to SME’s. The result of this activity is an increase in the understanding of SME’s in Muara Tae Village about simple bookkeeping and they can make their own simple bookkeeping according to the business they are doing. Abstract

The Indonesian people's financial literacy level until now has not shown good condition, based on the results of a survey conducted by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in 2019, which shows that financial management has not been implementing by the community. Mapping the level of financial literacy by employment rate, the results showed an increase in the percentage of financial literacy for all classifications of job types from 2016 to 2019, where employers were 43.60%. MSMEs are one of the sectors that have been greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey results showed that 77% of respondents experienced a decrease in income, 35% of whom experience a decreased in income in the range of 40%-60% (OJK, 2021). The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been confirmed from various existing surveys, confirms that financial literacy is a life skill that must be possessed by every individual today. The Business Financial Management training activity for the Betel Nut and Noken Seller Mama Group at Expo Waena aims to be able to foster scientific understanding and understanding of small business actors regarding financial literacy, especially regarding business financial management as a business actor, supporting business actors in making decisions related to business finances and their preferences and is expected to be able to manage and analyze their income and expenses so that more smart and wise in managing business finances and his personal finance. The participants in this activity were the participants who registered, namely 15 participants, and those who participated in the training activity were about 6 people from the group of betel nut and noken sellers at the waena expo in Jayapura City.Keywords: Business, Financial Management, Training

Abstract

Malaria is still a public health problem in the world, including in Indonesia. Positive deviation behavior is one of the factors that influence the incidence of malaria. So this study aims to determine the effect of positive deviation on the incidence of malaria in Jayapura City. This community service was carried out in the Mandala Village area, Jayapura City, Papua Province. The community service method uses the Community Empowerment method using Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Sampling using Exautive sampling (sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples). The data collected will be analyzed using SPSS version 21.0. The results of the quantitative analysis showed that the most influential factor on the incidence of malaria was positive deviation (p=0.000). The results of the qualitative analysis show that positive deviation behaviors to prevent malaria are using mosquito nets when sleeping, wearing long sleeves when working and when going out at night, and burning trash and coconut belts. The positive deviation approach can be used as an effort to prevent and control malaria through the active role of health cadres or community leaders. Keywords: Malaria, Positive Deviance, Behavior, Prevention

Abstract

This service activity aims to provide financial literacy educational training from an early age to anticipate the challenges of the sandwich generation in the modern era. The activity is carried out with the aim of carrying out community service activities that are able to explain the sandwich generation phenomenon and its impacts, help the public understand financial management and planning by studying knowledge and applying it by saving and investing, and become an alternative in overcoming problems in the sandwich generation. Service activities are carried out for the young generation of STT Baptist Papua for 1 day, with predetermined criteria or considerations. Abstract

The link between financial literacy and public access to financial institutions proves that financial literacy has a very important role for society to lead to financial prosperity. In addition, financial literacy makes it easier for individuals and businesses to manage their finances. East Koya is one of the very fertile agricultural areas with producing plantations and also chicken and cattle farms. Much of the income from these farmers has not been used properly and there is a lack of understanding of the farmers in managing existing family finances. The method of training in family financial management in order to increase financial literacy used includes various lectures as an introduction to understanding the principles of financial literacy, especially family finance in improving family businesses. To ensure participants can understand the learning outcomes, at the end of this training a simple survey to test the level of knowledge, attitudes and behavior in managing family finances. The conclusion that can be drawn in managing family finances in order to increase financial literacy in farmer groups in East Koya is that this training can provide increased understanding or level of financial literacy to families in planning and managing their finances properly. Abstract

Every development in the village/village requires a lot of money. According to Law No. 6 of 2014, village funds are funds sourced from the Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) intended for villages that are transferred through the district/city Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) and used to finance governance, implementation, development, community development, and community empowerment. According to Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW), corruption cases in the village budget sector were the most cases, there were 46 corruption cases in the village budget sector out of 271 corruption cases in 2019. Village budget corruption was recorded to give state losses of up to Rp. 32.3 billion. Village’s Revenue and Expenditure Budget is an annual financial plan of the village government approved by the Village Consultative Body (Bamuskam). Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APB Kampung) consist of Village Revenue, Village Expenditure, and Village Financing which are presented in accordance with the Village APB format in accordance with Permendagri 113 of 2014. Village Budgeting Training for the Apparatus of the Asei Kecil Village Government Office in Jayapura Regency uses an experimental method using a practical method of identifying and compiling a village budget and a direct confirmation method in the form of simple questions related to the importance of village financial management in encouraging the welfare of the village community. Abstract

According to Article 1 number 9 PER-12/PJ/2021, tax volunteers are individuals who voluntarily allocate their time, energy, knowledge, and expertise to actively participate in tax education activities. The program aims to provide tax education and assistance through collaboration with partner organizations or tax centers, involving both students and non-students. These volunteers engage in community service by offering services, education, and raising awareness about taxation to taxpayers visiting KPP Pratama Blora and the general public. They utilize modern information technology, specifically in the E-filing and e-SPT menus, to assist individual taxpayers who earn income from employers or independent work. The primary goal is to educate taxpayers so that they can file their Annual SPT conveniently from home in the subsequent year, eliminating the need to visit KPP Pratama Blora. Abstract

This activity service focuses on Jayapura City, especially Abepura District with the purpose of providing an introduction to simple financial concepts for Noken entrepreneurs in Abepura District. This activity aimed at native Papuan women entrepreneurs who sell noken, one of Papua's traditional crafts, made from plants, taken from tree bark and woven into bags that are used as places to store goods. There are 10 womens (Papuan mothers) that became seller in Abepura District were given training through the interview method regarding the initial understanding of noken sellers, the obstacles they face if any, then continued with an introduction to simple financial concepts related to the business they’ve run. The output of this service activity is to provide an introduction to simple financial concepts so as to increase understanding regarding financial management for informal noken micro businesses in Abepura District. Furthermore, it is hoped in the future they will be able to record and manage their own finances in more detail and orderly. Keywords: Financial, Micro Informal, Noken
