Abstract

A safe and comfortable work environment is very much needed for workers, including batik industry in Sijambe, Wonokerto, Pekalongan. This relates to the use of Personal Protective Equipment at work, work position, duration of work and conditions of the work environment. When conducting direct interviews with batik craftsmen, the following data were obtained, 50% of batik craftsmen felt pain in the buttocks, right knee, left leg; 60% pain in the upper neck, waist, left forearm, left knee; 70% feel pain in the lower neck, back and buttocks. Judging from the position of the equipment used, it can be seen that the working position of batik is not comfortable. The lighting used by batik craftsmen uses lamp lighting and ventilation that do not meet good lighting standards. The temperature at the time of observation reached 28-29oC with a humidity of 71%. This temperature makes the area of the batik maker quite hot, this temperature cannot be said to be comfortable for activities because a good temperature for workers ranges from 18.3-21.3oC, while the relative humidity in one room should be between 40-60% in summer, which is the relative humidity that gives a comfortable atmosphere in the room. Based on the analysis of the situation and problems, education about types, containers, places, labeling, hazard effects, and environmental impacts is needed. Education related to the use of Personal Protective Equipment at work to avoid work accidents. In addition, there is a need for health education about occupational diseases that are risky for Batik Craftsmen. Physical examination of batik craftsmen is needed to determine the health status of the craftsmen and as a basis for providing physiotherapy interventions for massage and irradiation using Infra Red. Keywords : Batik, Personal Protective Equipment, health

Abstract

COVID-19 is a disease caused by a new coronaviru strain. "CO" is taken from corona, "VI" virus, and "D" disease. Previously, the disease was called the '2019 novel coronavirus' or '2019-nCoV.' The COVID-19 virus is a new virus that is related to the same virus family as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and several types of common cold viruses. Etiology of COVID-19 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV V-2): the 2019 coronavirus is different from SARS-CoV, but shares the same host receptor: human protective enzyme 2 (ACE2). From the observation process, the identification of physiotherapy problems in CPVID-19 by Lecturers and Students of the D-III Physiotherapy Study Program of the Faculty of Health Sciences,PekalonganUniversitywas carried out by interviewing the local community. Information obtained was in the form of problems, namely that there are still many people who do not know how to handle and prevent COVID -19. The observation process to identify physiotherapy problems in COVID-19 uses an assessment method. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and understanding from the public, especially in knowing about the prevention of COVID-19 by means of good cough etiquette and how to wash hands properly for virus prevention. The solution offered by the team is to use counseling and training on how to prevent COVID-19 with good cough etiquette and proper hand washing. Five people participated in outreach and training activities. Prior to the extension and training process, the community had been given a pre-test and post-test proving that the level of public understanding had increased after being given counseling in efforts to prevent COVID-19.Keywords : Prevention of COVID-19, proper coughing and hand washing hygiene.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease - 2019, known as Covid-19, is a growing problem in the world and its impact is felt by more than 200 countries including Indonesia. The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is with good information about Covid-19. Socialization and education about Covid-19 is often provided by the government, but it is still not running optimally, people still ignore the health protocol for preventing Covid-19. Based on these problems, it is necessary to do socialization, provide correct information about Covid-19. Seeing the current situation and conditions, socialization was carried out through online media. The selected media is WhatsApp Group. Abstract

Green economy education is an effort to provide information to other people to know and understand environmentally friendly business activities. Limited natural resources due to environmental damage sometimes lead to creative ideas to start a business or business. Community service activities are carried out through education with outreach methods to the community in the Bandengan sub-district, North Pekalongan sub-district. Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam kehidupan. Era pendidikan online saat ini merupakan istilah yang cocok dengan digalakannya teknologi secara online dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, tak terkecuali dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Kecanggihan teknologi juga memberikan dampak secara langsung bagi para guru sebagai fasilitator pendidikan. Para guru tersebut dituntut untuk tetap mampu menjadi fasilitator pembelajaran dengan tidak mengenyampingkan penerapan metode Student Centered Learning (SCL). Mengapa demikian? Hal ini dikarenakan, SCL merupakan suatu metode yang menjadikan peserta didik sebagai pusat pembelajaran. Salah satu strategi pembelajaran dalam SCL ini adalah Jigsaw.Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan pendampingan kepada para guru dalam mengimplementasikan media online dengan fasilitas jigsaw di dalam sebuah pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah pelaksanaan pendampingan telah berjalan lancar. Pendampingan tersebut dilaksanakan secara daring dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode Jigsaw dengan menggunakan aplikasi E-Coole. Setiap tahapan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan secara efektif. Pada tahap akhir dilakukan evaluasi. Evaluasi tersebut diberikan kepada para guru dan peserta didik. Berdasarkan tahap evaluasi, diperoleh informasi bahwa melalui kegiatan pendampingan ini ditemukan hasil berupa adanya peningkatan kualitas para guru dalam mengoperasikan media online dengan strategi jigsaw yang ada di dalamnya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat menambah referensi dan pilihan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode Jigsaw ada di dalam aplikasi E-Coole.

Abstract

Malnutrition in infants is caused by the increasing nutritional needs of infants. Breast engorgement is influenced by the frequency of the mother to breastfeed, the duration of breastfeeding, the initiation of early breastfeeding, static breastfeeding, the initial experience of breastfeeding. Breast engorgement is often experienced by the mother due to sore or sore nipples. Approximately 57% of breastfeeding mothers reported having experienced blisters on their nipples (Soetjiningsih, 2012). To prevent breast engorgement due to breast milk damages and accelerate the lactation process, breast care can be carried out. In addition, there are non-pharmacological drugs, namely the provision of purslane leaves for the smooth production of breast milk. With the provision of purslane leaves, it is a suitable means of partnering problems. In the end, it is hoped that it can help improve the understanding of postpartum mothers in overcoming problems in overcoming smooth production to prevent breast engorgement. Keyword : purslane leaves, breast care, smooth milk production.

Abstract

Managerial guidance for operating “Wirausaha “Aisyiyah School”(SWA), for making professionality in SWA and build good coordination between all organisation structure.  SWA build for helping to the poor people and using commitment in productive sector in economy as well as to get economic stabilisation for woman. SWA in Kabupaten Pekalongan was the first SWA ever build in Central Java Province.  Almost 3 years the head of Aisyiyah  branch pekalongan did not have commitment to gain SWA program, advantage and responsibility. The output target  from this activity is to reform and to manage SWA in operation concept to become more professional which guidance with 4 management function consist of: planning, organizing, moving, supervising. We have using purposing discuss and workshop methodz. From this two in front, will be using for making reconstruction in SWA guidance which covering organisation structure in regional branch to do their job as well as on all procedure. Beside it, MEKPDA will give mentoring toruling the coordination in order with PCA under consideration with SWA.

Abstract

Industri batik merupakan tiang perekonomian di Kabupaten Pekalongan salah satunya di wilayah Wonokerto. Aktivitas dari proses pembatikan memberikan dampak positif yaitu peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat baik melalui manufaktur maupun home industry batik dan tekstil. Selain itu juga membawa konsekuensi terhadap gangguan kesehatan para pekerjanya. Muskuloskeletal Disorders (MSDs) salah satu gangguan kesehatan yang sering di keluhkan oleh para pekerja batik. Proses pembuatan batik yang masih tradisional, manual serta kegiatan yang menetap secara terus menerus membuat otot-otot menjadi spasme dan menimbulkan nyeri pada beberapa bagian tubuh.  Selain itu uap lilin dan uap hasil pewarnaan akan mencemari udara dan menjadi polutan di lingkungan tempat kerja. Udara yang tercemar oleh polutan hasil dari kegiatan membatik akan berisiko terhadap gangguan kapasitas paru-paru. Identifikasi gangguan muskuloskeletal didapat dari pemeriksaan nordic body map indeks, nilai scoring nordic bady map indeks pada pekerja di dapatkan 30 – 73 dengan rerata 51,40 yang artinya mungkin diperlukan tindakan di kemudian hari(Wijaya K, 2019). Dengan keluhan para pekerja nyeri pada beberapa bagian tubuh yang mana di karenakan dari proses bekerja.Permasalahan ini terjadi karena kurangnya pemahaman para pekerja batik tentang dampak paparan uap malam, gangguan kesehatan terkait postur tubuh yang tidak ergonomis dan kurangnya aktivitas fisik pendukung pekerjaan.Tim PkM Universitas Pekalongan menawarkan solusi berupa kegiatan untuk menanggulangi permasalahan tersebut dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan aktivitas fisik. Adapun aktivitas fisik yang akan berikan adalah metode Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) yang merupakan suatu gerakan mengencangkan dan melemaskan otot pada suatu bagian tubuh untuk mengurangi dan mengendalikan dampak kesehatan yang dialami para pekerja batik tersebut.Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam upaya untuk mengoptimalkan produktivitas pekerja serta perlindungan kesehatan pekerja batik melalui keilmuan Fisioterapi dan Kesehatan Masyarakat.Kata kunci : MSDs, paparan uap malam, Progressive muscle reaxation.
