Abstract

Mental health frequently receives inadequate attention and is often disregarded by individuals who tend to prioritize physical health over mental well-being. The occurrence of mental disorders in adolescents (aged 15-24 years) is associated with a depression rate of 6.2%. Severe depression tends to lead to self-harm and suicide. Approximately 80-90% of suicide cases can be attributed to depression and anxiety. A comprehensive understanding of adolescent mental health is essential for determining appropriate actions to make adolescents aware that mental health is equally essential. Preventing mental health issues in adolescents is crucial for avoiding further mental disorders or psychological problems. Prevention can be effectively achieved through health education for adolescents, enabling them to comprehend the significance of their mental health. E-modules provide an ideal medium for reaching adolescents, as they adapt conventional modules by incorporating information technology, making them more engaging and interactive. This enhances their appeal as an engaging and interactive learning resource. Digital modules (e-modules) enriched with audiovisual technology are expected to apprehend students' interests and create a conducive learning environment. The research objective was to investigate the effect of E-modules on adolescents' understanding of mental health. The study adopted a quantitative approach, using a quasi-experimental research design with a pre-posttest without control, conducted through intervention with a single group. The study was conducted at SMP 8 Surakarta and data were collected before and after the intervention. Data analysis employed the Wilcoxon test was used to obtain a significant result with a p-value of 0.01 (p < 0.05). Based on these findings, E-modules affected adolescents' mental health acquaintances.

Abstract

In the 21st century, it is estimated that there will be a rapid increase in the incidence and prevalence of NCDs. It is estimated that the countries that will feel the impact the most are developing countries, including Indonesia. One of the NCDs that is currently a very serious health problem is hypertension. This study aims to determine the relationship between medication adherence and physical activity on blood pressure in hypertension patients. This research is an analytical study with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was carried out by conducting interviews with patients, filling out questionnaires by the patient, viewing the patient's medical record data and carrying out blood pressure checks in September 2023 to October 2023. Bivariate analysis showed that there was an influence of medication attendance (p value = 0.0001; PR = 7.667) and physical activity (p value = 0.0001; PR = 26.156) on blood pressure. Multivariate analysis showed that physical activity (p value = 0.0001; aPR = 23.726) had more influence on blood pressure than medication adherence (p value = 0.007; aPR = 6.622). It is important for health workers to always educate patients regarding medication compliance and increase physical activity in an effort to achieve normal blood pressure.

Abstract

The maternity class service is a class for pregnant women aimed at educating expecting parents so that they can undergo a healthy pregnancy and delivery process. This study examines the role of midwives in implementing class services for pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. Based on the theme, it can be figured out that there are 5 midwives as human resources. All midwives have followed training for pregnant women and have worked with nutritionists, psychiatrists, and doctors. Midwives' roles and responsibilities include providing information on pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and newborn care. The course for expectant mothers is implemented online, and the timing is irregular during the pandemic period; it is only carried out once a week, so there are obstacles in the implementation of the class for pregnant women, that is the delivery process. The midwives should also help delivery process while being the admin of the Bidan Rindu application. Therefore, the provision of information through the application does not run optimally. Overall, midwives' responsibilities in the pregnant women's class program, specifically as presenters and facilitators, are appropriate for implementing services for pregnant women

Abstract

Tetralogy of Fallot (ToF) is the most common cyanotic congenital heart disease. ToF affects 3% to 10% of all babies born with congenital heart disease. Arrhythmia is a common complication following congenital heart surgery. As a medical guide, it is important to know Arrhythmia as a complication after ToF surgery. Method : The author searched, selected, and chose journals related to Arrhythmia after ToF repair surgery through several research databases including ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, PubMed, and Wiley. by using the keywords "Arrhythmia", "Surgery", "Pediatrics" and "Tetralogy of Fallot". The results of the literature search were 2,006 journals with 21 journals meeting the selection criteria, and 6 studies that would be analyzed further. Results and Discussion : Arrhythmia after heart surgery is a common complication that occurs. The most common type of arrhythmia that occurs after ToF repair surgery is JET. This arrhythmia is associated with injury to the heart's conduction system during surgery. JET is a life-threatening tachyarrhythmia that occurs especially after procedures near the AV node (AVN), such as ToF repair operation. The main risk factor for postoperative arrhythmias is a longer cardiopulmonary bypass time. Conclusion : Arrhythmia is a common complication that occurs after ToF repair surgery and is an important cause of morbidity and mortality if not treated immediately.
