Abstract

This research was carried out in Soatobaru Village, West Galela sub District for 2 months, aims to identify the types of plants used by the Galela community as traditional medicinal ingredients, including sections and methods of processing. The method used is the survey method where the team conducts direct observations to the field and then takes the potential drug specimen, as well as conducting interviews with respondents for information on plant parts and processing methods. Data analysis is carried out descriptively based on the results of research and presented in the form of graphics, images and tables. The results showed that 27 species were found and came from 24 medicinal plants at the study site, which could be grouped in 6 habitus, namely trees, shrubs, palma bushes, vines and herbs. There are 15 types that use leaves, 12 types of use fruit, 3 types used seeds, 2 types using roots and tubers, and 1 type using fruit water.

Abstract

Waste management through waste banks in an area will have an impact on the community and the environment of the area itself. Waste management can run well if there is participation from various parties, including the community. This paper aims to analyze the concept of waste and waste management and processing methods, analyze the concept of waste bank systems and mechanisms in providing economic and environmental benefits, analyze what factors influence community participation in waste management through waste banks. The results of the study show that waste management consists of reducing waste and handling waste. Waste reduction includes reducing landfill waste, recycling, and re-managing the waste. Communities as waste producers are incorporated in waste banks and carry out activities of collecting, sorting, and saving economic value inorganic waste in waste banks. Then the waste is sold to the waste dealer and the waste bank gets money from the sale which is then deposited into the community's savings according to the purchase price of the waste from the community. Factors that influence community participation in waste management through waste banks are the individual characteristics of the waste bank community, environmental support for waste banks and public perceptions of waste bank governance.

Abstract

Tilapia is a freshwater fish commodity that is widely cultivated. Another type of fish that is widely cultivated and favored by the community is goldfish. Carp is one type of fish that has high economic value and is widely cultivated because it has a high adaptability to environmental conditions and available food. The fisheries sector has an important role for the country, because it employs many people directly or indirectly, provides food and contributes to survival. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is worsening public health, eliminating jobs and people's income. The purpose of this study was to determine the income of tilapia cultivation business actors in Saketi District before and after the covid-19 pandemic and to find out the factors that affect the income of tilapia fish farming business actors in Saketi District after covid-19. The location of data collection is carried out in November-December 2021. Data collection is carried out in Saketi District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten. The location chosen in this research is Saketi District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten. The main impact experienced by cultivators is a declining level of sales and high production costs. The percentage increase in the selling price of tilapia reached 28.57% and the increase in carp reached 62.16% since the start of the pandemic. The dependence of aquaculture business actors on feed results in high production costs, so that aquaculture business actors reduce production in order to overcome the declining amount of income and increasing feed prices.

Abstract

Bamboo shells are a class of bivalves that have economic value and high nutritional content, so it is necessary to diversify products in the form of cookies that have high protein and mineral content and increase consumption of fishery products in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of doses of bamboo shell meat flour and different flavors on the organoleptic value of cookies, proximate content and physical properties of the selected cookies. The design used was factorial RAL, namely treatment with substitution doses of bamboo shell meat flour (Solen sp.) as much as 0%, 10%, and 20% and different flavor treatments, namely seaweed and pizza, with 3 replications. The average organoleptic value of the selected hedonic cookies is the cookies substituted with 10% bamboo mussel meat flour with seaweed flavor with the organoleptic values of appearance, texture, taste and aroma respectively 4.06; 4.39; 4.67; and 4.43 on a scale of 1-5. The results of the proximate test showed that cookies with a substitution of 10% bamboo shell meat flour with seaweed flavor met the requirements of SNI 012973-1992 for cookies: water content 4.02%, ash content 0.11%, protein 10.07%, fat 12.34%, carbohydrates 73.46%, energy 500.65 kkla/100 g, color L=49.26 a=+9.4 b=21.34, hardness 2413.98 gf/cm and Aw 0.51%.. Consumption of 3 pieces of cookies can meet the needs of 20% protein Nutritional Sufficiency Rate in the 7-9 year age group.

Abstract

The two-boat bagan is one of the most common fishing gear used by fishers in Kao Bay. Its main fishing target is squid with various other types of fish as by-products. Two-boat bagan operations are carried out every night so it is necessary to ensure the best moon phase for more efficient and effective catch. The purpose of the study was to analyze the composition of catch and to analyze the productivity of fish species and the moon phase. The data collection method was conducted by interview and observation of fishing operations for one month. Data analysis was carried out descriptively, using the composition formula and productivity analysis. The results showed that there were 7 types of fish caught by two-boat bagan. Three most dominant species were fish with high economic value, each with their respective compositions were squid (41%), selar (30%), and mackerel (17%). The types of catch with the highest productivity were squid (111 kg/trip), followed by selar (86 kg/trip), and mackerel (64 kg/trip). Based on moon phase, the highest fishing productivity took place in moon-phase 3 (931 kg/trip), followed by phase 2 (718 kg/trip), phase 4 (685 kg/trip), and phase 1 (534 kg/trip).

Abstract

Potensi sumber daya Pesisir dan Kelautan (SDKP) Provinsi Maluku Utara yang besar merupakan suatu modal yang penting dalam menggerakan roda pembangunan daerah ini. oleh karenanya, aspek pemanfataan khususnya SDKP merupakan suatu yang sangat strategis dalam menentukan jumlah penerimaan atau tingkat konstriusinya dalam pembentukan modal pengambangunannya. Pengelolaan SDKP dalam perspektif Otonomi Daerah pada dasarnya adalah power sharing kewenangan pengelolaan SDKP anata pemerintah Provinsi dan Kabupaten/Kota.Pengelolaan wilayah pesisir secara terpadu penting dilakukan mengingat banyaknya kegiatan-kegiatan yang dapat diimplementasikan, sehingga perlu dirumuskan suatu konsep penataan ruang (Strtaegic plan) serta berbagai pilihan objek pembangunan yang serasi.

Abstract

Bawang Hutan (Crinum asiaticum L) merupakan salah satu tumbuhan liar yang diketohui mengandung alkaloid yang bersifat toxin yang mempunyai daya kerja sama dengan toxin yang dapat digunakan untuk mengendalikan hama di lapangan. Spodoptera litura F merupakan jenis hama yang berkemampuan untuk merusak sangat tinggi pada areal pertanaman sayuran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : Mengetahui keefektifan ekstrak bawang hutan terhadap persentase mortalitas larva S. litura secara Invitro dan mengetahui besar konsentrasi yang terbaik untuk kematian larva S. litura. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Dasar Fakultas Pertanian Universilas Khairun Ternate Maluku Utara selama 6 bu/an. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan ragam yang sesuai dengan rancangan yang digunokan, pengujian akan dilanjutkan sampai uji BNT (beda nyata terkecil) dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gejala awal yang dapat dilihat setelah aplikasikan ekstrak bawang hutan bersifat repellen, antifeedan, dan terjadi perubahan wama pada kulit luar (abdomen) larva, serta larva mengeluarkan cairan dan djais yang berlebihan. Hasil uji beda menunjukan bahwa pemberian pakan yang diaplikasikan dengan insektisida ekstrak bawang hutan berpengarun signifikan. Peningkatan konsentrasi ekstrak bawang hutan berbanding lurus dengan nilai persentase keterlambatan instar Ill ke JV sebesar Y = 4. 0488x - 55.49 serta nilai koefisien korelasi (r2) = 0.9672. Ektrak bawang hutan memberikan pengaruh terhadap persentase mortalitas larva S. Litura sebesar Y = 2. 75x - 42.5 serta nilai koefisien.

Abstract

Bubu adalah perangkap yang mempunyai umwnnya dikenal dikalangan ne/ayan perairan tersebut. Bubu termasukjenis a/at tangkap yang sifatnya pasif atau menetap di dasar perairan yang bertujuan untuk menangkap ikan-ikan demersal. Peneltian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah dan komposisi jenis hasil tangkapan bubu dasar dari beberapa perlakuan pemberian umpan organik dan anorganik yang digunakan dalam penangkapan ikan demersal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan setiap jenis umpan berdistribusinormal dengan uji t-student, umpan A dengan B berbeda nyata (1, 77), A dengan C berbeda sangat nyata (3, 05), A dengan D berbeda sangat nyata (3,63), B dengan C tidak berbeda nyata (0,80), B dengan D tidak berbeda nyata (1,62), C dengan D tidak berbeda nyata(l.90), sedangkan komposisi jenis hasil tangkapan yaitu umpan pecahan piring keramik putib tertinggi adalah ikan kakatua (19.11%), dan terendah ikan ekor laming (1,33%, umpan usus ayam kampung tertinggi adalah ikan biji nangka (17,800A,), terendah ikan jambian (1,05%) dan ikan tembang tertinggi adalah ikan biji nagka (22,56%), terendah ikan jambian (1,22%) serta tanpa umpan (control) tertinggi adalah ikan biji nangka (26,51%) dan terendah adalah ikan tiga waja, ikan buntel dan ikan lingkis (2, 41 %). Perbandingan hasil tangkapan dengan a/at bubu dasar pada setiap jenis umpan dengan hasil tangkapan tertinggi pada umpan pecahan piring keramik putih (58,24 kg). menyusul umpan usus ayam kampung (48,27kg), umpan ikan tembang (44, 17 kg) dan hasil tangkapan terkecil yaitu tanpa umpan (control) (38, 73 kg)

Abstract

Penduduk Indonesia sebagian besar tinggal di daerah pedesaan dengan mengandalkan usoha pertanian sebagai pendapatan pokok. Pertambahan penduduk yang tinggi dan terbatasnya sumber daya lahan telah mengakibatkan persaingan peruntukan, lahan hutan menjadi lahan pertanian atau peruntukan /ainnya, Penelitian ini dilaksanakanan pada bu/an Februari sampai dengan Maret 2006 di dusun Gumi, Desa Akelamo, Kecamatan Oba Kota Tidore Kepulauan bertujuan untuk tnengetahui hubungan usaha tani dengan masyarakat kehutanan maupun berbagai jenis usaha tani. Metode analisis pengujian statistik uji chi square dengan pendekatan studi kasus, Ana/isis ini digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara usaha tani dengan masyarakat sekitar hutan di dusun Gumi desa Akelamo dengan pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa usaha tani mosyarakat sekitar hutan dusun Gumi, desa Akelamo terdiri dari tanaman tahunan dan tanaman semusim yang ditanam, hasil analisis data pengujian chi square menunjukan bahwa ternyata ada hubungan antara usaha tani masyarakat sekitar hutan di dusun Gumi desa akelamo dengan pendapatan masyarakat.

Abstract

Microsoft Excel sebagai program pengolah data be/um dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleb mahasiswa, penggunaan fungsi-fungsi matematik dan statistik seperti menghitung nilai rata-rata, logika, standar deviasi, regresi dan uji-uji statistik dapat dilokukan dengan menyisipkan fungsi-fungsi yang telah disediakan oleh microsoft excel. Meskipun kemampuan analisa data statistik yang dimiliki oleh Microsoft Excel tidak sebanyak don sekomplit program komputer yang khusus dibuat untuk itu seperti SPSS, Minitab don lain-lainnya, tetapi menurut penulis kemampuan yang dimilikinya sudah sangat membantu dalam menganalisis statistik untukpara peneliti.
