Abstract

Adolescent9reproductive9health is a9healthy state involving the reproductive system, functions9and exposures during adolescence, including mental and socio-cultural health. Maintaining reproductive health during adolescence is very important, because at this time the sexual organs of adolescents are already active. Reproductive health counseling is one of the government's efforts to overcome reproductive health problems. Media that9can be used9in health education are video media and other media such as booklets. The9purpose9of this9study was9to9determine the effect of using video and booklet media on9the9level of knowledge on reproductive health in adolescents. The population were 17 students. The9sample in this9research is 120 students, 60 students counseling provided using video media and the each 60 counseling provided using are booklets. Bivariate analysis using t test. The9results of this9research9show9that the experimental group has a significant9difference between before9and after9counseling with video media (p- value 0.000 < 0.05). There9was a9significant difference9between the control group before9and9after counseling with video media (p-value 0.000 <0.05). It9can be9concluded that there is9an effect of using video media and booklets on the level of knowledge of reproductive health in adolescents. It is suggested to the masters and principals of SMK 1 Banyusari to add learning about reproductive health to students by using video and booklet media methods.

Abstract

Performance is an obligation that must be improved by every nurse, good performance can increase patient satisfaction at the hospital, the way that must be done by the hospital in improving performance is by distributing medical services in accordance with the provisions in the hospital. This study aims to analyze the distribution of medical services and the relationship of nurses in policy making on nurse performance. This study uses two approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative. The population in this study were nurses at the Royal Prima General Hospital in Medan, amounting to 386 nurses, the sample used in this study was 224 nurses. This study uses two statistical applications for processing research data, namely SPSS and LISLER. The results of his research from the two approaches in this study state that the variables of the principle of fairness, the principle of fairness, the principle of transparency, and the principle of consistency affect the performance of nurses, while the relationship between nurses in decision making does not affect the performance of nurses at the Royal Prima General Hospital Medan in 2021.

Abstract

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is special clothing or equipment used for personal protection from infectious materials. Nosocomial infections are a global health problem. One of the most popular nosocomial infections is the case of the Corona-19 virus (COVID). PPE protects healthcare workers from infectious infections and helps prevent cross-contamination with other patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of knowledge, characteristics, attitudes, and behavior of nurses regarding the use of PPE according to the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) in the Inpatient Room of the Royal Prima General Hospital, Medan. This type of research is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional study design. There is a significant relationship between the characteristics, attitudes, and behavior of nurses on the use of PPE (p <0.05).

Abstract

The pharmaceutical installation of Arun Hospital Lhokseumawe currently uses the consumption method in controlling drug supply, this method has a weakness, in the shortcomings and advantages of drugs that are difficult to rely on, but the ABC-EOQ-ROP-SS method can answer the weaknesses of the consumption method. The purpose of this study is to provide a choice of other methods for controlling drug inventory at Arun Hospital Lhokseumawe. This study is a mix-method study with retrospective data for quantitative data and primary data for qualitative data. The study was conducted at Arun Hospital Lhokseumawe from October 2021 to November 2021. The research population used was all drug items during August 2020, totaling 269 items. The ABC method is used to group drug items into 3 groups, the EOQ method is used to determine the number of drugs to be ordered in the next order, the ROP method is used to determine when to order drugs at the next time and the SS method is used to determine safety stock. The results showed the results of the ABC method group A were 59 items, B were 64 items, and C were 146 items, the results of the EOQ method group A were 414 - 159, B was 414 – 159, and C was 778 - 1407 for certain types of drugs, the results of the method The ROP of group A were 12,027 – 962, group B was 6014 – 20,045 and group C was 3007 – 200 for certain types of drugs. The results of the SS method group A were 627 – 50, B was 314 -1054, and C was 157 – 11 for certain drug groups. Suggestions for Arun Hospital Lhokseumawe to try methods of controlling drug supplies other than the consumption method so that efficiency in managing drug supplies can be increased. good and can provide training to human resources at the pharmacy installation of Arun Hospital Lhokseumawe related to controlling the supply of drug needs.

Abstract

Rosella flowers are able to provide a moisturizing and smoothing effect because they contain many substances that are useful for the skin, rosella flowers are also synonymous with a sour taste so that it gives a fresh sensation. In this study, the ethanolic extract of rosella flowers used was at a concentration of 2%, 2.5%, 3%, and 5%. This type of research is experimental research using a pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample of this research is Rosella flower extract lotion (Hibiscus Sabdariffa L.). Data analysis using ANOVA. The results showed that the entire concentration group of rosella flower (Hibiscus Sabdariffa L.) ethanol extract in this study was effective in moisturizing the skin. Ethanol extract of rosella flower (Hibiscus Sabdariffa L.) which is most effective in moisturizing the skin is ethanol extract with a concentration of 5%. The entireconcentration group of Rosella flower (Hibiscus Sabdariffa L.) ethanol extract in this study was effective in smoothing the skin. Abstract

Medical devices are one of the factors that play an important role in providing health services to the community. Sustainable health services need to be supported by equipment that is always in a ready-to-use condition and can function properly. The level of public health needs to be improved through quality health services, one of which is through the provision of good, safe and suitable medical devices. So that medical equipment is always in good condition, safe, and suitable for use, it is necessary to carry out preventive maintenance including periodic maintenance and implementation of tests and calibrations. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Treatment of Medical Medical Devices at Royal Prima Hospital Medan. The results of this study indicate that the number of human resources in carrying out medical device maintenance at Royal Prima Hospital Medan is maximized, the exact amount of funds for the maintenance of medical devices at Royal Prima Hospital Medan is unknown, but each device already has its own budget in terms of treatment. and repairs, the placement of medical devices, especially in the ICU and IGD rooms, is in accordance with SOPs, it can be seen that their placement is regular and easy to reach by health workers such as doctors and nurses, the maintenance of medical devices is routinely carried out as well as once a week technicians always carry out maintenance on medical devices, supervision has also been carried out optimally by technicians if there are medical devices that are constrained in their operation.

Abstract

Nutritional problems are currently the most important because they are a direct cause of death experienced by mothers and their babies after childbirth. Dominantly low nutritional intake and related to poor nutritional status in pregnant women during pregnancy will cause various good impacts on both mother and baby, for example, low birth weight. Bay has been born into this world with a baby weight of more than 2,500 grams. Growth retardation in the fetus is known as intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR). This study aims to determine the effect of giving polalic acid to women who are pregnant in the first trimester and its effect on IUGR. The research was conducted using Google Scholar with the variables studied. The article/review is then read and internalized according to the written criteria and then used as a literature review. The results of the study were carried out by taking articles using observational analysis research methods using cross sectional research methods with a duration of less than 5 years (2016-2021). There is an effect of IUGR on folic acid intake in first trimester pregnant women. deficiency in folic acid during pregnancy and can occur and cause risk factors for fetal malformations and the development of placental disease. A sign of folic acid deficiency is anemia caused by abnormal production of red blood cells. Adequacy of folic acid for pregnant women is 600 g / day to 800 g / day. Folic acid can be obtained from fresh green leafy vegetables, oranges, potatoes and whole grains.

Abstract

The implementation of BPJS in Indonesia nine years ago, seems to have had an impact on a number of insurance companies also demand of the health insurance during pandemic in Indonesia. This mandatory program from the government inevitably affects the competitive landscape of the insurance industry in Indonesia, especially private insurance companies that serve health and other private insurance companies. Healthcare insurance competition is expected to become a mechanism capable of creating efficiency that functions as a tool to protect consumers and business actors. The Indonesia government policy is one of the state-owned insurance companies, PT. Askes (Persero) changed its name to BPJS which applies to all people. Currently PT. Askes (Persero) changed to BPJS which serves all Indonesian citizens without any difference. This study uses a qualitative method, aiming to analyze the development of demand trend in health insurance in Indonesia, its developments and implications, especially in the world of healthcare insurance business in Indonesia. From demand of health insurance business and competition, it is hoped that efficient, effective, and high-quality production will be achieved. The goal of this research is to highlight what are the things that benefit consumers because they are given the opportunity to have a choice of quality products and can buy at competitive prices which tend to be relatively cheap. This study also aims to analyze the demand for health insurance included: utilization of inpatient, utilization of health insurance and comparison literature review of inpatient and outpatient costs based on the type of social health insurance in Indonesia, public and private health facilities.

Abstract

Inpatient drug services start from prescribing to patients, using drugs during treatment, until the patient returns home, there may be replacements, additional drugs and residual drugs. Although this service process is the responsibility of pharmacists, it is closely related to the role of medical personnel, nurses and the administrative division in hospitals. Research objectives Identify the percentagecompatibility between drugs and stock cards,IdentifyTurnover ratio,Identifypercentage of expired/damaged drug value,Identifythe average time used to serve prescriptions to the hands of patients,Identifypercentage of drugs served at the Karanganyar District Hospital.This research was conducted by following a descriptive research design to analyze the drug distribution system in the Inpatient Hospital of Karanganyar Regency. The data obtained in the form of primary data and secondary data. The research results arePercentage of matches between drugs and card stockis 86.6% with the indicator set is 100% it can be said to have not been effective when compared to indicators,Turn over ratio valueis 9 times turnover, the standard indicator is 8-12x capital turnover in 1 year. This means that the TOR is effective,Percentage of expired/damaged drug valueis 4.5% and the standard indicator of 0% means that it can be said to be ineffective, The average time used to serve prescriptions to the hands of patientsThe long waiting time for compound drugs is in stage II, which is 36.28 minutes, and the waiting time for non-concoction drugs is in stage II, which is 29.42 minutes, with service hours at 14.00-20.00. This is not efficient when compared to the standard value of compound drugs < 30 minutes and non-concoction drugs 15 minutes.The percentage of drugs not served is0.0085% it has not been effective with an indicator of 0%.

Abstract

A medical record is part of the archive that describes all activities by an agency within a certain period. Hospitals must have medical records as a service standard in the health sector that is useful for improving quality in providing optimal service to patients. The problem that often arises in filling out medical records is that in the process of filling it is incomplete, and the doctor's writing is less specific about the diagnosis. This situation has an impact on internal and external hospitals because the results of data processing are the basis for making hospital internal reports and hospital external reports. This study aims to analyze the effect of job demand control-support and protection motivation on Obedience with filling in inpatient medical record files at Batubara Hospital in 2021. This type of research is analytical quantitative research. The sample size in this study was 105 people. Data analysis used Univariate, Bivariate, and Multivariate. The results showed Job Demand Control-Support inpatient nurses at Batubara Hospital in 2021 were good as many as 94 respondents and 11 respondents were not good, Protection Motivation at Batubara Hospital in 2021 was good as many as 95 and 10 were not good, Obedience in filling out files inpatient medical records at the Batubara Hospital in 2021, which complied with as many as 94 respondents and 11 respondents who did not obey, Job Demand Control-Support affects Obedience with filling out medical record files for hospitalization at Batubara Hospital in 2021, Protection Motivation affects Obedience in filling out files Medical records for hospitalization at Batubara Hospital in 2021. The variable that has the most influence on Obedience with filling in inpatient medical record files at Batubara Hospital in 2021 is the Protection Motivation variable
