Abstract

Several problems were found that had an impact on teacher performance, namely teachers who did not pay attention to the students situation. Teachers sometimes came late to school, less literate with the latest learning systems, and they were less technologically literate. Teachers do not get information, there were teachers who had not completed lesson plans and do not bring a lesson plan at the time of the KBM. This study uses a descriptive correlational research method with a quantitative approach. The population of this study was the principal of a public elementary school in North Rupat which consists of SDN 1, 10, and 13 Rupat Utara. The total number of teachers is 37 people. The sample uses a saturated sample with a total of 37 people. The results of this study shows there is a positive and significant influence between Principal Leadership on Teacher Performance. The higher the organizational culture given, the higher the teacher's performance. There is a positive and significant influence between the variables of Teacher Work Discipline on Teacher Performance at SMP Rupat District. There is also a non-significant influence between the variables of Principal Leadership and Teacher Work Discipline simultaneously between the variables of Principal Leadership and Teacher Work Discipline on Performance at SDN in the North Rupat.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of learning media that facilitates understanding of students' concepts on optical material. The existing learning media generally integrate the visualization of image formation on mirrors and lenses. Not yet equipped with practice questions and evaluation questions in accordance with the concept understanding indicators. Then the percentage of student learning outcomes that are below the KKM and student learning motivation is low. The purpose of this study is to improve the understanding of students' concepts by using Lectora learning media. The design used in this study was a randomized control group pretest-posttest and the research subjects were students of class XI SMA N 5 Tapung. The control class applied conventional learning and the experimental class applied the use of learning media. The application of Lectora Inspire interactive learning media affects students' conceptual understanding in the experimental class with an average increase of 0.58, and the control class with an average increase of 0.54. The results showed that there were significant differences in conceptual understanding between the experimental group and the control group.

Abstract

The era of education influenced by the industrial revolution 4.0 is called Education 4.0. Education 4.0 is an education that is characterized by the use of digital technology in the learning Therefore, research is needed that aims to develop a guided inquiry-based flipped classroom learning system using Moodle on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions, as well as to determine the level of validity and practicality of the products developed. This type of research is Educational Design Research (EDR) using the Plomp model. The subjects of this study were 3 chemistry lecturers at FMIPA UNP, 3 chemistry teachers, and 15 students in class XI IPA SMAN 8 Padang. This research was conducted to test the validity using the Aiken's V formula and the practicality test using the percentage formula. Five validators carried out the validity test and one-to-one evaluation by three students. The results of processing the validity test data are 0.88, indicating the valid category. For the data processing results, the practicality test for students is 88%, and the practicality test for teachers is 94% which shows the very practical category.

Abstract

A proper learning process can improve student learning outcomes. Therefore, appropriate learning models and systems are needed. The LSLC-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can be used as a solution. This study aims to determine the effect of the LSLC-based PBL model on learning outcomes in the aspects of knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students on the atomic structure-nanomaterial. This study is a quasi experimental with a randomized posttest only control group design.Which was held to two classes of class X SMAN 9 Padang. The results show that the learning outcomes were normally distributed and had a homogeneous variance. Therefor, the t-test was done to test the hypothesis which the demonstrated Tcritical> Ttable. For those three kinds of learning outcomes, which were knowledge learning outcomes (1.9595 > 1.669); skill learning outcomes (1.9752 > 1.8124); attitude learning outcomes (2.4206 > 1.8124). The result prove that of the application of the LSLC-based PBL model on the atomic structure-nanomaterial topic has a significant effect on improving knowledge, skills, and attitude.
