Jurnal Sains Pertanian (JSP) merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Almuslim Bireuen Aceh dengan nomor 2088-0111 (media cetak) dan 2798-8597 (media online). Jurnal Sains Pertanian adalah publikasi ilmiah di bidang ilmu pengetahuan dibidang pertanian. Artikel yang dimuat berupa hasil penelitian terkait ilmu pengetahuan terkait ilmu pertanian yang belum pernah dipublikasikan di media lain (kecuali dalam bentuk abstrak atau karya ilmiah akademik atau dipresentasikan dalam seminar atau konferensi). Jurnal Sains Pertanian diterbitkan tiga kali setahun pada bulan Februari, Juni dan Oktober serta terbit perdana pada 14 Februari 2011 menggunakan OJS 2. Jurnal Sains Pertanian adalah artikel ilmiah dalam bentuk hasil penelitian, dan artikel konseptual yang mencakup ilmu: Agroteknologi, Kehutanan, Agribisnis, Teknologi Hasil Pertanian, Perikanan, Peternakan dan Veteriner. Setiap jurnal yang diterbitkan melalui proses double-blind review.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan pabrik kelapa sawit PT. Syaukath Sejahtera di Desa Cot Jabet Kecamatan Gandapura Kabupaten Bireuen. Dalam mengelola data, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan melihat aspek-aspek penelitian. Untuk keperluan analisis, penulis mengumpulkan dan mengolah data yang diperoleh dari kuisioner dengan cara memberikan bobot penilaian setiap jawaban pertanyaan berdasarkan skala likert. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di Desa Cot Jabet Kecamatan Gandapura Kabupaten Bireuen diperoleh bahwa nilai index persepsi masyarakat secara umun terhadap keberadaan pabrik diperoleh yaitu 70,17% yang menunjukkan bahwa masyaraat memberikan penilaian positif terhadap keberadaan pabrik kelapa sawit pada aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan aspek lingkungan. Nilai index tertinggi yang diperoleh adalah persepsi masyarakat pada aspek sosial dengan nilai 75,47% diikuti oleh aspek ekonomi dengan nilai 68% dan tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. Sedangkan nilai index terendah yaitu aspek lingkungan dengan nilai sebesar 67,04% dan tergolong dalam kategoti tinggi.

Abstract

UD Novi Jaya is a tofu production business unit that has been operating for 20 years with a soybean processing capacity of 532 kg per day and produces 11,400 pieces of white tofu. However, the conventional production process causes variations in product losses. This study aims to identify the criteria and attributes of defects and analyze quality control by applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) analysis in white tofu quality control at UD Novi Jaya. This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey method. The analytical tools used are check sheets, control charts, Pareto diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, and process capabilities. The results of the p control chart analysis indicate two points outside the control limits on the soft tofu attribute, while statistical quality control is well controlled. The Pareto diagram shows that the main defect lies in the soft tofu attribute of 858 pieces. The cause and effect diagram on the soft tofu attribute shows the causal factors including materials, humans, methods, tools and machines, and the environment. Process capabilities show a high success rate on soft tofu, namely 96.2%. Suggested improvement efforts include sorting raw materials, training and supervision of workers, standardizing processes through standard operating procedures (SOPs), improving equipment and machinery, and improving cleanliness and environmentally friendly waste management.

Abstract

UD. Manalagi Jombang is a micro-scale banana chips producer that does not yet implement a documented quality control system. This condition creates product defects such as broken, burnt, and unclean chips, which reduce quality and competitiveness. This study aimed to analyze banana chips quality control using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and to identify factors affecting product quality. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach through direct observation of 20 production periods with a sample of 5,000 grams per period. The analysis used check sheets, np control charts, Pareto diagrams, cause-and-effect diagrams, and process capability analysis. The results showed that total defects reached 10.05% of the total sample, with broken chips as the dominant defect, accounting for about 45%–46% of all defects. Human factors were the main cause, especially rough handling and inadequate worker training. The process capability value for broken chips was 0.956, indicating that the process had not fully met the expected quality standard. SPC can support process monitoring, identify improvement priorities, and provide data-based quality control recommendations for food MSMEs.

Abstract

UD Tata is a tofu producer in Sidoarjo Regency that still faces quality deviations in the form of soft texture, visual damage, and product contamination. This study aimed to analyze tofu production quality control using Statistical Process Control (SPC). A quantitative approach with simple random sampling was applied to 1,000 tofu pieces per day for 20 observation days from a daily production of 10,000 pieces. The analysis employed check sheets, np control charts, Pareto diagrams, cause-and-effect diagrams, and process capability analysis. The results showed 596 soft-texture defects, 486 visually damaged tofu defects, and 443 contamination defects. The np control chart indicated that texture and visual attributes remained under statistical control, while the cleanliness attribute showed one point above the upper control limit on the ninth observation day and therefore required corrective action. The dominant defect was soft tofu texture, accounting for about 40% of total defects. The main causes were related to human factors, methods, materials, machines and equipment, and the work environment. Process capability values for the three attributes were categorized as good at 97.0%, 97.6%, and 98.0%, respectively.

Abstract

               Agroindustri tahu merupakan salah satu usaha pengolahan hasil pertanian yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan nilai ekonomi kedelai melalui proses pengolahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis besarnya biaya, penerimaan, keuntungan, dan nilai tambah agroindustri tahu di Desa Parerejo, Kecamatan Purwodadi, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara sensus terhadap empat pengusaha tahu aktif. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis biaya-penerimaan-keuntungan dan metode Hayami untuk menghitung nilai tambah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh usaha agroindustri tahu memperoleh keuntungan, dengan keuntungan tertinggi diperoleh Ahmad Fauzan sebesar Rp24.435.000 per bulan dan terendah Isma’il sebesar Rp845.000 per bulan. Nilai tambah tertinggi diperoleh Isma’il sebesar Rp79.800,15/kg dengan rasio nilai tambah 81%, sedangkan terendah pada Ferry Setyawan sebesar Rp2.035,52/kg dengan rasio 15%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi penggunaan input, skala produksi, dan kapasitas pengolahan berpengaruh terhadap besarnya nilai tambah. Disimpulkan bahwa agroindustri tahu di Desa Parerejo layak secara ekonomi dan memiliki potensi pengembangan melalui peningkatan efisiensi produksi serta optimalisasi penggunaan faktor produksi.

Abstract

Snakehead fish (Channa striata) is a freshwater fishery commodity with high economic value due to its albumin content, which is beneficial for health. However, dependence on wild catches has led to a decline in its population. Domestication is a key strategy to ensure sustainable production through aquaculture. This review aims to analyze the domestication strategies for snakehead fish based on ichthyological aspects, including morphology, feeding habits, reproduction, and behavior. The main challenges in domestication include high cannibalism during the seed stage and the difficulty of transitioning from natural to artificial feed. Feed management approaches with a frequency of 3-4 times daily and the use of natural feeds such as Daphnia sp. and Tubifex sp. have proven effective in increasing survival rates up to 95%. The potential for intensive systems like raceway farming also shows promising biological and economic feasibility. Through the integration of controlled hatchery technology and hormonal manipulation, snakehead fish domestication is expected to support the independence of the national aquaculture industry. Keywords: Channa striata; domestication; ichthyology; cannibalism; albumin

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan dan kinerja usaha tani kopi milik Ibu Halimatussadiah di Desa Ujung Gele, Kecamatan Pegasing, Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Desa ini merupakan salah satu sentra produksi kopi dengan mayoritas penduduk bekerja sebagai petani, namun produktivitas yang dihasilkan masih relatif rendah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Mei 2025 dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis yang digunakan meliputi perhitungan biaya produksi, penerimaan, keuntungan, serta Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total biaya produksi usaha tani kopi sebesar Rp39.617.334 per tahun. Total produksi mencapai 2.350 kg per tahun dengan penerimaan sebesar Rp188.000.000 per tahun. Dari hasil tersebut, usaha tani memperoleh keuntungan sebesar Rp148.382.666 per tahun. Analisis kelayakan usaha menunjukkan nilai R/C sebesar 4,75 yang berarti usaha tani kopi ini layak diusahakan dan memiliki prospek pengembangan yang baik. Rendahnya produktivitas disebabkan oleh pengelolaan kebun yang masih tradisional dan kurangnya penerapan teknologi modern, sehingga perbaikan manajemen produksi dinilai penting untuk meningkatkan pendapatan petani.

Abstract

Soil erosion is a major land degradation threat in tropical watersheds. This study analyzed the spatial variability of soil erodibility (K) across 17 land mapping units (LMUs), examined its relationship with slope, and developed a conservation risk zoning framework in the Krueng Meuh sub-watershed, Aceh, Indonesia. Soil samples were collected from each LMU and analyzed in the laboratory to determine soil physical properties used for K calculation. Spatial analysis was performed using GIS by integrating K values with slope classes derived from DEM. K values ranged from 0.12 to 0.88 (mean 0.33), indicating moderate overall susceptibility. Nine LMUs had moderate erodibility, five high, and three low. LMU 8 (K=0.88) and LMU 11 (K=0.82) showed very high susceptibility. LMU 12 and LMU 17 were classified as very high risk zones due to high K combined with gentle slopes. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating soil properties and topography for site-specific conservation planning in tropical watersheds.nd, objectives, methods, significant results, conclusions and implications of research results.
