Abstract

This study aims to determine the concept of career development for a speech impaired, as well as to understand the concept of implementation of development and strategies for the development of career guidance for a speech impaired children at SMPLB YPAC Palembang. This study uses qualitative research using data analysis techniques with Miles and Huberman models, data collection techniques through primary data, and secondary data through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study are a career guidance that has been programmed in a guidance and counseling services. But in its implementation it is not optimal, because there is several obstacles both in terms of learning and needs, learning barriers here are not optimal planning and a preparation of a career guidance programs. Career guidance services are a principle for children with special needs or children with disabilities where each process is the same as a career guidance for students in regular schools,but there is slight differences in the stages of implementation, services, development strategies and the results of a career guidance programs obtained for children with special needs or a speech impaired children.

Abstract

Intoleransi merupakan masalah serius yang dihadapi Indonesia khususnya di bidang pendidikan. Fenomena ini terjadi dengan berbagai peristiwa yang muncul ke permukaan. Ada banyak alasan munculnya intoleransi di kalangan remaja. Untuk menjaga kerukunan antar umat beragama begitu penting di negara yang plural ini, maka ada juga beberapa alternatif untuk membendung gerakan intoleransi anak muda yaitu dengan mengajarkan pendidikkan toleransi di sekolah. Guru sebagai pendidik sangat berperan penting dalam mengajarkan dan menumbuhkan sikap toleran agar tidak terpapar paham dan sikap yang radikal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Benuk penelitian bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah komunnikasi langsung dengan menggunakan alat pengumpul data pedoman wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk intoleransi yang terjadi di kalangan siswa SMP Negeri 40 Palembang adalah kurang menghargai dan menghormati perbedaan, perbedaan pendapat, kurangnya kesempatan bagi non muslim untuk menjadi pemimpin dan menutup diri. Adapun peran guru dalam membentuk sikap toleransi siswa yaitu dengan menjadi panutran pada peserta didik, menjadi teladan, tidak diskriminatif terhadap status sosial, ekonomi, agama, bahasa dan sebagainya, memberikan pemahaman ajaran mengenai toleran yang dimasukkan dalam pembelajaran, dan menggunakan metode pembelajaran secara diskusi dan berkelompok agar mengedepankan kerjasama antar siswa sebagai wujud menumbuhkan toleransi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of time management guidance in an effort to overcome the academic procrastination behavior of students at Pondok Pesantren Inayatullah Yogyakarta. This study uses a quantitative research method with a pre-experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of the study using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed the Asymp results. Sig (2-tailed) is 0.059 0.005. This means that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. The conclusion of this study is that time management guidance does not reduce the academic procrastination behavior of students at the Pondok Pesantren Inayatullah Yogyakarta. However, based on the presentation, participants thought that time management could make the tasks and agenda of daily activities more organized.

Abstract

Rumah Tahfidz Tazkia is one of the places that was built as a foundation that accommodates Islamic students who want to become hafidzah of the Qur'an. Tahfidzul Qur'an is considered to be one way for students to have good spirituality so that they are able to control themselves in all aspects of life. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of the Rumah Tahfidz Tazkia as a supporter of the spirituality of Islamic students through tahfidzul Qur'an activities. This study uses a qualitative methodology with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that the Rumah Tahfidz Tazkia plays an important role in supporting the spirituality of Islamic students by holding various activities such as tahfidzul Qur'an and various Islamic studies. This is proven by the students who try to become hafidzah, which indirectly also shapes spirituality to be closer to Allah SWT. Islamic students apply the meanings of the Qur'an in their daily lives by amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. So, that Islamic students have high spirituality because they are aware of their closeness to Allah SWT.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period where a person is looking for identity, namely by communicating and establishing social relationships and this period is a period of many changes which must be faced, especially social problems. However, some teenagers experience social phobia in the search for identity and experiencing these social relationships. Adolescents with social phobia are afraid to do or say things that are embarrassing or that would make them feel humiliated. For this reason, a treatment is needed so that it can reduce the social phobia that the teenager has. The purpose of this paper is to determine cognitive therapy in dealing with social phobia experienced by adolescents. The findings of this study are cognitive therapy is a therapy that is used in counseling related to individual (client) thoughts that are irrational and thus turn them into rational thoughts. Cognitive therapy is suitable for individuals who have social phobia disorder

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between parenting and the inner child in early childhood development. This study uses a literature study approach with a descriptive type of research. The results of this study are three kinds of impacts of different parenting styles on early childhood development, namely: (1) If someone knows the inner child and is bad at responding, then it is also bad in producing responses when interacting; (2) If someone knows the inner child and is good at accepting it, it will give birth to good activities or interactions and be able to develop themselves to be even better; and (3) If a person is aware of the inner child and is able to process his wounds into positive or good things, then good things will also be born.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Implement the concept of luring and online learning in The Elementary School 02 Astra Ksetra Lampung; (2) Reveal how the changes that occur in the offline learning system become online in The Elementary School 02 Astra Ksetra Lampung due to COVID-19; and (3) Explore how to implement online learning at The Elementary School 02 Astra Ksetra Lampung. This research used qualitative method with descriptive analysis research. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and draw conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: (1) In The Elementary School 02 Astra Ksetra Lampung on the concept of offline and online learning has a difference felt by students, because these students prefer offline learning (face-to-face), so in elementary school decided to combine offline learning and online learning; (2) Changes that occur in the offline learning system becoming online is a teacher using communication technology media for learning activities such as laptops and cellphones with media tools such as: Zoom, WhatsApp Group, and Rumah Belajar; and (3) Online learning implementation, still less effective, because in The Elementary School 02 Astra Ksetra Lampung there are still some children who do not have a communication technology tool in the process of learning activities. This makes the teacher to stay come to the house of students with members material fish and tasks that have been made by the teacher.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the factors behind the conflict that occurred in Poso Regency through analysis of Karl Marx’s theory of conflict and the function of religion as a measure to reduce conflict. In this study, the writing used a qualitative approach and literature review. The results of this study describe that the conflict in Poso Regency is a series of cases that have occurred since 1998 and peaked in 2001. The background of the conflict is in accordance with the assumptions used by Marx: First, using economic determinism, namely by seeing that economic factors are the basic things in structural changes to society. Second, historical determinism, namely the structural change of society through three stages: thesis (affirmation), anti-thesis (negation), and synthesis (reconciliation of opposites). Meanwhile, efforts to reduce religion are based on the function of religion, patterned on the existence of religion in the community, not only as a system of beliefs and beliefs, but religion has several functions, both directly related and in direct contact with the social life of the community, which provide solutions to problems, rules and laws, source of unity, kindness, and glue the relationship between individuals.

Abstract

Discipline behavior is a manifestation of the individual's ability to control himself. The quality of a person's self-control determines the quality of his discipline, so that each individual must have self-control in improving discipline. Therefore, this study aims to see the effectiveness of cognitive behavior therapy with self-control techniques to improve student discipline. This research is an experimental study with a sample of 8 students. Data collection techniques using a discipline scale, interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used paired samples test (T-Test). The results of data analysis t-count is 8.027 and t-table is 2.365, (8.027 2.365). The value of sig (2-tailed) is 0.000 so 0.000 0.05. The results of the study show that cognitive behavioral therapy with self-control techniques is effective in improving student discipline.

Abstract

One way to practice character education is through the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith. Each educational unit must include lessons on the Qur'an Hadith because it helps students understand their place in society, both as individuals and as part of a group. In practice using the progressive learning model, the importance of character in developing quality students highlights the need for effective character education which aims to develop character as an integral part of everyday experience. The method in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The inculcation of progressive learning-based character education values through Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects can be seen from various angles, such as Al-Qur'an Hadith material which is analyzed for character values, RPP and Al-Qur'an Hadith Syllabus which are characterized , the method of planting by the teacher, character-based learning media, and evaluation of learning to instilling character education values. Values such as friendliness or communicativeness, social care, environmental care, religion, and solidarity are taught as part of a progressive learning program based on student tolerance character education at MAN 2 Banyumas.
