Abstract

The Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) is a new thing in the world of education in Indonesia. With this ANBK, many responses emerged from the teachers and education staff, parents/guardians, school committees, the community, and students. To respond to this response and provide an explanation about ANBK, the school at SMPN 2 Siberut Utara held a meeting to hold a socialization about ANBK. The method of implementing the ANBK socialization is the lecture and question and answer method. This socialization activity aims to provide knowledge to the participants of the socialization regarding the description of ANBK, management of ANBK implementation, and technical implementation of ANBK. The implementation of ANBK socialization was able to provide understanding to participants regarding ANBK. ANBK socialization is very useful for socialization participants in preparing for the implementation of ANBK in the future.

Abstract

The quality of teachers will be better if the stakeholders are able to prepare competent teachers, so that teachers can make changes and adapt to the progress of science and technology. The problem experienced by partners is that not all teachers are looking to continue to develop themselves; limited trainings related to competency improvement, capacity building training models that can be implemented in schools. This activity aims to provide an increase in the professional capacity of SMK teachers. Partners in this activity are teachers of SMK Negeri 4 Lhokseumawe. As for the method of implementing the activities carried out by workshops and In House Training. The results of the evaluation of community empowerment service activities have been able to make a real contribution in increasing knowledge, understanding, and increasing the professional capacity of teachers through continuous training activities. The implementation of this service activity is able to help partner teachers in their potential to become professional teachers by participating in ongoing training through workshops and jam sessions. The knowledge, understanding, skills and productivity of teachers have increased through increasing the professional capacity of Vocational High School teachers.

Abstract

The Spice Route is a spice trade route in the archipelago and leaves traces of civilization heritage, including in the Lampung region. Assistance in strengthening the capacity of the Spice Route cultural actors is carried out in order to support the government's efforts to propose the Spice Route as an intangible cultural heritage by Unesco. interest in the history of the spice route in the Southern Sumatra region, especially the Lampung area. In addition, mentoring activities to strengthen the capacity of the cultural actors of the spice route are also intended as a promotion and socialization of the existence of the spice route in Lampung to cultural actors from outside Lampung. The partners for this service are the Directorate of Cultural Protection, Kemendikbudristek, the Education and Culture Offices of West Lampung and East Lampung Regencies, students and history teachers in Jakarta, Bandung and Banten. The method of devotion is a direct mentoring method to the perpetrators of the spice path culture. The results of the service were the recording of spice knots in the Lampung area, especially in Bandar Lampung with the location of the spice route in the form of Panjang port and Jami Al Anwar Mosque. For the East Lampung area, it is located at the Pugung Rahardjo Archaeological Site and the remains of the Sultanate of Banten in Lampung in the form of the Dalung Charter which supports the existence of pepper plantations. West Lampung is located at Wisma Sindalapai, Tomb of King Selalau, Lamban Pesagi, Dalom Belunguh Building. Lampung as a spice-producing area that has close relations with the spice route, especially with the Sultanate of Banten can be information that provides an illustration that Lampung was once a spice-producing center and had an important role in the spice trade node in the region that connected the West and East. Abstract

Honorary teachers and school children are one of the assets owned by the people of Kacangan Village. The Covid-19 outbreak has changed and hampered all activities in Kacangan Village, including affecting the community's economy, including the education sector. Therefore, in community service activities in Kacangan Village, in collaboration with partners, in this case Baznas Bojonegoro, SDN Kacangan 1 and SDN Kacangan 2, held a learning media application workshop and launched a friend of smart academics (SOPIA). In this community service activity, the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method is used, which is a community development concept based on local assets to overcome problems in the area. The results of this community service activity were a learning media application workshop and the launching of Sobat Pintar Akademia (SOPIA), namely all educators in Kacangan used this learning media and students in Kacangan received knowledge well and the students were very enthusiastic when participating tutoring, as well as mentors who will provide guidance to students so that they can improve the economy of the Kacangan Village community during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

The school library is one of the essential factors in supporting limited face-to-face learning. The purpose of community service in this article is to carry out assistance in the preparation, implementation and service of the library in welcoming little face-to-face learning. The method used is an action approach method with a mentoring model so that direct service is carried out at the SMP Islam DDI Sangatta Utara Library. The result is that library management becomes more organized by creating book codes to make it easier for visitors to get the books they need. The affixing of book stamps as a sign of ownership and as a safeguard for library book collections. Making archives, visiting books and loans in an effort to control library services. It is hoped that community service can further assist technology-based library management and service systems so that management and services can be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

This Community Service activity, which is one of the Tri Dharma, aims to add insight and provide skills in creating content designs or social media content that is interesting, interactive and easy for the foster children of the Ahmad Yani Pontianak Orphanage. The method used is to provide theory and training as practical activities. The application used is the Canva application which is easy and free to use. The participants, especially the orphanage children, were very grateful to the team from the university for developing informatics facilities that had provided training and more understanding to become content creators. Participants gain an understanding of utilizing social media in particular as a source of income. Participants can understand how to start social media properly and correctly in the role of content creator. This activity is a capital to channel talent and potential in the field of graphic design, so that you have the opportunity to be creative in the digital world and can be increased to become an opportunity to earn income.

Abstract

Nearpod is a web-based media that can be accessed by anyone including teachers and students using a pre-owned gmail account. The presence of this nearpod provides a new color, especially for teachers in developing ideas and at the same time as learning innovations, especially mathematics. Science and technology for the community (IbM) by utilizing the nearpod is one of the community service activities (PkM), especially for MI Muhammadiyah teachers in Ponorogo as a new breakthrough to complete and provide convenience for teachers in providing material information and students easily accessing that information. This “nearpod” web media began to boom in 2020 until now, which adapts online learning activities (on the network). It is hoped that this activity will provide new information for teachers that the nearpod can be used as an innovation in mathematics learning in particular. Nearpod can support mathematical material that can be well designed, so that students will easily understand math material. In addition, with this new normal condition, of course there are still some things that are related to media that can be accessed by students at any time. From this activity, the teacher has been able to create and design learning materials with nearpods for mathematics materials.

Abstract

Utilization of natural resources around is one way to increase the economic value of these natural resources. Maximum utilization of natural resources can also improve the local community's economy. Providing education is one way to increase the knowledge and skills of the community. Due to the need for cooking oil and the desire to improve the standard of living of partners, the PKM team was conducted training with the theme of making VCO and DHT syrup for PKK mothers in Pallantikang Village, Gowa. This activity aims to improve the skills of housewives in Pallantikang Village through education on making DHT and VCO syrup as well as opportunities for businesses so as to increase family income. The method used in this activity is lecture and practice. This activity begins with giving a pretest to measure partners' knowledge. At the end of the activity, a posttest was carried out to measure the increase in partners' knowledge after being given training. The results of the dedication show that there has been an increase in the participants' knowledge. This is shown from the results of the pretest and posttest given. In addition, participants have gained new experience, so that later they can practice it to increase family income.

Abstract

The high number of bullying cases is already at an alarming stage. A school that is supposed to be a fun place, turns into a terrible place (school phobia), can even endanger the lives of students to the point of prolonged trauma. Bullying or Bullying does not look at age or distinguish genders, usually the victims of bullying are generally weak, quiet, shy, or special children. The bullying of bullying has a great influence until adulthood and during school period will cause depression in individuals and can also cause unhappy feelings when participating in activities at Pondok Pesantren, because it is haunted by feelings of anxiety and fear. So that this rule is found in Article 170 paragraphs (1) and (2) of the Criminal Code, Articles 351 to 355 of the Criminal Code, Article 80 of Law Number 35 of 2014 Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. This problem is very complex so efforts are needed to suppress and overcome the occurrence of bullying or bullying that occurs in Santri at Islamic Boarding Schools through legal literacy and education, namely through a behavioral approach. Then what is produced can be supported by the implementation of the monitoring process from the Islamic Boarding School, in this case teacher educators or ustadz to prevent students from bullying. Then this monitoring is carried out periodically in diagnosing every behavior of students who tend and have the potential to violate the law to commit bullying actions.

Abstract

In the 2013 curriculum, a scientific approach is necessary for carrying out the learning process in all existing subjects. The scientific approach aims to facilitate students' learning like scientists—skills from the Syntax of this scientific approach help students construct knowledge. So teachers must understand how to implement a scientific approach to the learning process. This service activity is based on an analysis of teacher needs in designing scientific-based lesson plans. This service aims to optimize teacher competence in preparing learning implementation plans based on a scientific approach in the Sleman Regency Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Working Group. This community service activity starts with needs analysis, seminars on learning materials and scientific approaches, training, FGDs, and evaluations. The dedication results show that the teacher is enthusiastic about participating in the activity, and the teacher understands how to prepare a lesson plan based on a scientific approach oriented to student skills. The evaluation results show that the teacher wants a continuation of other training programs to increase the competency capacity of teachers.
