Tujuan dari Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya adalah untuk mendorong penyebaran yang lebih luas hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah sistematis di bidang manajemen dan bisnis. Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya dimaksudkan untuk menjadi jurnal penerbitan artikel hasil penelitian manajemen baik artikel penelitian maupun artikel konseptual (non penelitian). Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya mengundang artikel-artikel hasil penelitian di bidang : Manajemen Pemasaran, Manajemen Keuangan, Manajemen Strategis, Manajemen Pendidikan, Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia, Manajemen Operasional, Manajemen Kesehatan, e-Business Manajemen Kewirausahaan. Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya menerima artikel-artikel yang sesuai dengan subjek penelitian manajemen dan metodologi penelitian yang sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan untuk dipublikasikan dalam jurnal ini. Yang utama, namun tidak eksklusif, adalah akademisi, mahasiswa program pascasarjana, praktisi dan pihak-pihak lain yang tertarik dengan penelitian manajemen. Kriteria utama untuk publikasi di Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra adalah pentingnya kontribusi sebuah artikel terhadap kekayaan literatur di bidang manajemen, ketelitian analisis dan penyajian artikel. Keputusan penerimaan artikel didasarkan pada proses review yang independen dengan evaluasi konstruktif dan cepat terhadap artikel yang diajukan oleh peneliti atau author. Frekuensi Publikasi Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya terbit dengan setiap tahun satu volume yang terdiri dari tiga kali terbitan, yakni setiap April, Agustus, dan Desember. Setiap terbitan mempublikasikan 7 artikel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the business performance of a tour & travel company PT. XYZ in 2015-2018. Next to reveal the causes of failure at PT. XYZ using a value proposition from Business Model Canvas. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a total of five informants. The results of the study show the current conditions that occur at PT. XYZ Tour & travel only puts forward low prices which results in customers being disappointed and never want to use their services anymore. Value proposition owned by PT. XYZ cannot be felt by its customers because customer perception is different from the perception of the company. PT XYZ's failure due to its consistent performance decreases every year and there is no suitability of targets to be achieved because there are different perceptions of the value proposition created by the company and the value received by the customer. Of the 11 value propositions there are only three that are accepted by customers, namely performance, cost reduction and convenience. While the other nine values, namely newness, customization, getting the job done, brand, design, price, risk reduction, accessbility and ability are still homework for PT XYZ.Keywords: failure, value proposition, performance, cost reduction, convenience

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of competence, work culture and compensation on the performance of home industry employees of cassava crackers simultaneously and partially. To analyze the effect of competence, work culture and compensation on employee performance. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that simultaneously, all independent variables such as competence, work culture and compensation had a significant effect on employee performance. The influence given by the three independent variables is positive, meaning that the higher the competence, work culture and compensation simultaneously, the higher the employee's performance will be. Partially, the competency variable has no significant effect on employee performance. While the variables of work culture and compensation each have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of systematic risk, not systematic risk of expected share return. In addition, to determine the effect of systematic risk and risk not systematic either partially or simultaneously to the expected return of shares in the formation of an optimal portfolio of LQ 45 stock index. Data analysis technique used in this research is simple linear regression. The calculator uses the SPSS program. The results of the data analysis show that among the 45 companies listed in the LQ-45 index that meet the criteria in the formation of an optimal portfolio viewed from systematic risk and systematic risk there are only six companies. The six companies are PT AKRA Corporindo Tbk, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk so as to obtain optimal portfolio of shares of 57. Systematic risk and risk not systematically partially significant effect on the expected return of stock in forming optimal portfolio of LQ-45 stock index. Systematic risk and systematic risk are not simultaneously significant to the expected return of stock in forming an optimal portfolio of LQ 45 stock index.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the strategic steps in building school branding. In addition, to see and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors and their impact on increasing school competitiveness. The research method uses a qualitative approach, with data interviews and documentation studies. The results showed the strategic steps taken by schools in building school branding in increasing competitiveness, including: a) accreditation of expertise programs, b) ISO 9001: 2008, c) positive student behavior, d) student achievement both academically and non-academics, e) quality of graduates, f) superior expertise program. Supporting factors in building school branding in increasing competitiveness include a) the quality of teachers, b) the length of teaching teachers, c) teaching according to competence, d) good school promotion. While the inhibiting factors in building school branding in increasing competitiveness, include: a) motivation of students to increase competence according to expertise program, b) appearance of school buildings, c) lack of cleanliness, and d) location of the school in the middle of the campong. Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of service nurses at Islamic Hospital (RSI) Siti Hajar Sidoarjo, supporting factors, inhibiting factors and service strategies nurse service quality development at RSI Siti Hajar Sidoarjo. In this study, researchers used descriptive research with a qualitative approach. That is, data collected from depth interviews, field observations, and related documents. Data analysis in this study using three components consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. In this study researchers in the analysis by using triangulation to check the validity of data / test data credibility. The results showed that the quality of nurse service at Islamic Hospital (RSI) Siti Hajar Sidoarjo is generally good, in terms of tangible dimension, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphathy, although there are still some shortcomings or complaints, but all informants stated that the nurse service at Islamic Hospital (RSI) Siti Hajar Sidoarjo is good. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the implementation of the management of educational facilities and infrastructure, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the implementation of strategies carried out in the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in SMA Negeri 2 Kraksaan. In this study, researchers used a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. That is, data collected from interviews, field observations, and related documents. Data analysis in this study uses four components consisting of, data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In this study the researchers analyzed by using triangulation to check the validity of the data / data credibility test. The results showed that the implementation of the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in SMA Negeri 2 Kraksaan was carried out quite well so that educational facilities and infrastructure could be optimally utilized in improving the quality of learning, with management concepts starting from the planning, procurement, storage, use, and elimination stages of facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aims of this research were to describe about job discipline, competence and incentive to work performance of CV Gavra Perkasa Gresik; to analyze the effect of job discipline, competence and incentive partially to work performance of CV Gavra Perkasa Gresik; to analyze the effect of job discipline, competence and incentive simultaneously to work performance of CV Gavra Perkasa Gresik. The kind of this research is categorized as explanatory research and using quantitative research approach. The populations of this research were all employers of CV Gavra Perkasa Gresik. the sampling technique of this research by using census sampling. So, sample of this research were 100 people. From the result of this research can be concluded that the conditions of job discipline, competence, incentive and work performance of CV Gavra Perkasa Gresik in very good category. Job discipline, competence and incentive partially have significant effect to work performance of CV Gavra Perkasa Gresik. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of market orientation, organizational learning and entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of MSMEs in Gresik Regency. The population in this study is MSMEs in Gresik Regency. Using proportional random sampling based on the business sector, after calculating the Slovin formula (sampling error 10%) obtained a sample of 100 SMEs. The analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results and conclusions in this study are market orientation, organizational learning, and entrepreneurial orientation simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs in Gresik district, market orientation has a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs in Gresik district, organizational learning has a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs in Gresik district, orientation entrepreneurship has a significant influence on the performance of MSMEs in Gresik district.

Abstract

Sepanjang tahun 2015 BNN (Badan Narkotika Nasional) bersama lembaga rehabilitasi instansi pemerintah dan komponen masyarakat telah melaksanakan program rehabilitasi kepada 38.427 pecandu, penyalah guna, dan korban penyalahgunaan Narkotika yang berada di seluruh Indonesia dimana sejumlah 1.593 direhabilitasi melalui Balai Besar Rehabilitasi yang dikelola oleh BNN. Angka tersebut mengalami peningkatan, dimana pada tahun sebelumnya hanya sekitar 1.123 orang pecandu dan penyalah guna yang direhabilitasi. Klinik Cendekia Husada Kabupaten Sidoarjo sebagai salah satu institusi public yang memberikan pelayanan dibidang terapi dan rehabilitasi pasien napza turut serta dalam menanggulangi permasalahan penyalahgunaan narkoba, pada tahun 2015 terjadi penurunan angka kunjungan di Klinik Cendekia Husada khususnya pasien narkoba. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi mendalam mengenai perilaku pengguna jasa dan penyelenggara jasa pelayanan dalam memanfaatkan pelayanan di poliklinik napza. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap lima orang pasien, dua orang mantan pasien, dan petugas rumah sakit yang terdiri atas direktur pelayanan medis, kepala instalasi rawat jalan, assesor dan konselor napza serta melakukan diskusi kelompok terarah kepada empat orang perawat. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa rendahnya pemanfaatan pelayanan di poliklinik napza disebabkan oleh faktor eksternal, yaitu keberadaan BNNK (Badan Narkotika Nasional Kabupaten) yang memberikan pelayanan gratis kepada pasien napza dan faktor internal yaitu sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai bagi pasien dan faktor perilaku petugas yang kurang baik dalam memberikan pelayanan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sarana prasarana yang menunjang dan adanya perilaku petugas yang ramah dan terampil akan dapat meningkatkan kembali pemanfaatan pelayanan poliklinik napza di Klinik Cendekia Husada. Abstract

This research was conducted in the property & real estate subsector, with a total sample of 48 research companies. The objectives of this study are test and analyze the effect simultaneously of variables: total assets (TA), Net Sales Results (NS) and profit after tax (EAT) on Profitability (ROI) in the Property & Real Estate, Tbk subsector companies in 2016-2018, and then to test and analyze the effect of partial variables of total assets (TA), net sales (NS) and profit after tax (EAT) on profitability (ROI) in the Property & Real Estate, Tbk subsector companies in 2016-2018.
