Abstract

This study aims to find out that the use of a website (interactive HTML5) can increase interest in online science learning in 4th grade students of SD Negeri Degung for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a type of classroom action research with a continuous cycle model. The research subjects were the 4th grade students of SD Negeri Degung, totaling 10 students. The object of the research is to increase interest in learning science online through the use of website (interactive HTML5). Collecting data through the results of observations and questionnaires. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of observation of learning interest. The results showed that the use of the website (interactive HTML5) can increase the interest in learning science online in grade 4 SD Negeri Degung. The success indicator in this study is 75%. In this study, there was an increase in interest in learning science online from pre-action to cycle I by 20.5% and in cycle I to cycle II by 11%. This study concludes that the use of a website (interactive HTML5) can increase interest in learning science online for 4th grade students of SD Negeri Degung for the 2020/2021 academic year. The use of the website can be a reference for other schools to increase student interest in learning during the pandemic.

Abstract

School as a place for transforming knowledge and also for learning to behave in accordance with norms, where teachers or educators are intermediaries. They have huge responsibilities, because student spend most of their learning time at school. Meanwhile, on average, one teacher has to deal with approximately 20-30 students with a variety of characters at the same time. The aim of this study is to find out the teachers' perceptions of the legal protection they acquire during the teaching and learning process. The research applies descriptive quantitative method with 135 teachers as research subject. The criteria are active teacher at the kindergarten to high school level in Indonesia. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that there are 73 people or 54% of the total respondents show positive perception, and 62 people or 46% are negative perception of legal protection during teaching and learning process. This means that the proportion of teachers with negative perceptions are nearly half of the total respondents. This analysis signifies that there are anxiety regarding to teacher's legal protection during disciplining students. School-related parties should pay attention to this issue while maintaining a balance between the teacher's role in educating with a way of educating that considers children's rights and law

Abstract

Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) is a computer application that has Artificial Intelligence. One of the advantages of ITS compared to conventional teaching is because ITS uses a one-to-one approach between ITS and students. Learning in the classroom is not effective when the understanding between students is not the same. ITS can eliminate student boredom because ITS teaching is more individual and focuses directly on the point of the problem. The purpose of this article is to find out how the Intelligent Tutoring System learning model is implemented in schools. The method in this research is a literature study method with qualitative approach by examining the concepts related to the ITS Model. ITS helps students understand a material and can repeat the material repeatedly until he masters the material. This model is academic assistance or tutoring by tutors to students to help smooth the independent learning process of students individually or in groups related to teaching materials. To be able to carry out one-to-one teaching, the ITS model must be able to recognize these students and build a model regarding their level of knowledge, skills and desires. Abstract

One of the government’s policy to decide the spread of Covid-19 is the learning in schools is carried out online. In managing distant teaching and learning, the most common Learning Management System used nowadays is Google Classroom. This study aims to describe the influence of google classroom on learning chemistry students grade III of Mathematics Education Study Program FMIPA University of Indraprasta PGRI. This was descriptive research with the design of One Shot Case Study The subjects in this study were Semester III students who were programming basic chemistry lesson Mathematics Education Study Program in the scope 70 people in the FMIPA University of Indraprasta PGRI. The Instrument were used in this study in the form learning outcomes tests and the students’ perception on using google classroom questionnaire sheets. The average score of students learning outcomes was 79,76 in the high category. The percentage of student response value was 85,73% in the very good category. The results showed that there was significant effects of student learning outcomes after applying google classroom learning. This is indicated by the value of tcount = 39,587 with a p – value = 0,002.

Abstract

This research purposes to investigate and descript increase interest and mathematic performance of student with functioning software coreldraw. Research type of this research is action research class. Subject research is students of MTs N 6 Karanganyar sum 29 students. Method collecting data is observation, field note, test and documentation. To security validity data uses triangulation technique. Analysis data technique uses method reduction data, serving data and conclusion and verification. Result of the research shows functioning software coreldraw can increases interest and student performance. This increasing shows from: 1) Student’s interesting in learning before action is 34,48% and the last action reach 86,21%, 2) Student’s interesting in paying attention in the materials before action is 27,58% and the last action reach 82,76%, 3) Student’s interesting in uttering the ideas before action is 20.68% and the last action reach 44.83%, 4) repeating the learned materials before action is 17.64% and the last action reach 75.86%, 5) the student performance is fulfillment KKM is 70 before action is 44,83% and the last action reach 86.21%. From the research conclusion functioning software coreldraw can increases interest and mathematic performance of the student.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to determine the increase in student interest and learning outcomes through the application of interactive multimedia PowerPoint to thematic learning of science content for fourth grade students at SDN Wonosari 01. Data collection on student interest in learning uses observation and questionnaire methods, while data on student learning outcomes through science test methods. The results showed that the application of interactive multimedia PowerPoint in thematic learning of science content could increase interest and learning outcomes. The increase in student interest in learning can be seen from the average acquisition of interest in learning obtained by students in the pre-action of 40.82 (low category) with the percentage of students who get a score of 45 as much as 38%, in the first cycle of 44.71 (enough category) with the percentage of students who get a score of 45 is 58%, and in the second cycle 49.03 (high category) with the percentage of students who get a score of 45 as much as 81%. Student learning outcomes in pre-action obtained an average of 66.11 with students completing or achieving KKM as much as 42.30%, the first cycle of 69.23 where students who completed as many as 65.38%, and the second cycle of 75.64 with students completed as many as 80.76% of the total number of students. Based on these data, with the application of interactive multimedia PowerPoint, it can be concluded that interest in thematic learning of science content can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was conducted to improve cognitive abilities in knowing cause and effect through activities of making various flavors of drinks, this research was conducted at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten, Kedak Village, Cement District, Kediri Regency, the method used in this study was classroom action research, this study used cycle 1 and cycle 2 is in the process of improving students' cognitive abilities. And from the results of the data that has been obtained it shows that the increase in students' cognitive abilities has increased well starting from cycle 1 to cycle 2, these results will not work well if the aspects used are not associated with the game of cause and effect in the activity of making various flavored drinks.

Abstract

One of the learning barriers experienced by students with autism is affective barriers. Students with autism generally find it difficult to understand everything related to attitudes and values and express their emotions in an appropriate way. This study aims to systematically explain the use of expression dolls as an alternative to learning affection for autistic students. This research is library research or literature research conducted by utilizing library sources to obtain research data. Researchers search for, collect, organize and analyze scientific papers that have been collected. The results of data analysis are then used as a basis for drawing conclusions. Based on the literature review, it can be concluded that expression dolls are dolls whose faces have various emotional expressions. During the learning process, teachers can use expression dolls along with the application of storytelling and guessing expressions methods. Expression puppet media is categorized as a form of visual learning media that is expected to be effective for students with autism. Through expression dolls, students with autism are expected to improve their ability to express their emotions naturally.

Abstract

Education as a process continues to change from time to time. According to Eric Ashby (1972), education has undergone five processes of change to date. According to him, education at this time uses more information and communication technology in the learning process. Information and communication technology has changed the classical education model into a virtual one. The educational process is no longer limited by space and time. Anywhere, anytime, every learner can carry out learning activities, without having to wait for a schedule. That is the reality of education now, whether we like it or not, the changes have occurred in the world of education. This is education in the digital era that has been predicted by many people in the past.

Abstract

The Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia on March 24, issued Circular Letter Number 4 of 2020 which contains the Implementation of Education Policies in the Emergency Period for the Spread of COVID 19. The Circular explains that the teaching and learning process is set to be carried out at home through online/distance learning. Even schools that accommodate children with special needs.The purpose of this study is to describe the process of improving learning achievement of materials using Electronic Devices Safely through the application of the Integrated Video Tutorial Based Learning learning model. The research method in the form of Classroom Action Research is an observation of learning activities in the form of an action, which is deliberately raised based on problems occurring in the classroom. The results of the study indicate that the Integrated Video Tutorial Based Learning learning model can improve learning achievement using electronic tools safely. In the pre-cycle the ability of children who succeeded only 14%. In Cycle 1 it reached 43%, in Cycle 2 it reached 86%. Recommendations for future researchers are to provide a new discourse on research, especially in the variables used. In order to be able to make the results of this study as a relevant reference towards more useful follow-up for the learning of mentally retarded students.
