Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of educational technology in the perspective of independent learning in the 21st century in primary schools in the teaching and learning process. This research is a qualitative research. The type of research used is library research. Sources of data in the study were obtained from research journals that have been published and indexed by sinta and google scholars. The publication article is taken from the last 7 years issue. In this study, there were 7 articles as data sources. The data analysis technique used is content analysis technique. The results of the study show that in the 21st century the role of educational technology is very large in learning. This can be seen in the implementation of independent learning which gives freedom to schools, teachers, and students in the teaching and learning process at the elementary school level unit. The role of educational technology is to improve the quality of education by facilitating the teaching and learning process, and tools to facilitate teaching and learning in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' initial reading skills in using the syllable method for class 1 Mi Al Islamiyah. This research was conducted using two cycles, and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The research subjects were 23 students, including 13 male students and 10 female students. The object of this research is the application of early reading skills. Data collection techniques in the form of tests, documentation and. The data analysis used is qualitative and quantitative analysis.The results of this study indicate that the application of the syllable method can improve students' initial reading skills. Students who get a complete reading skill score in the pre-cycle are 57% (10 students). In the first cycle the average value of the students who completed was 68 with a percentage of completeness as much as 65% (15 students), while in the second cycle the average value of the students who completed was 76.3 with the percentage of completeness 83% (19 students). It can be concluded that the syllable method can improve early reading skills, thus the researcher's suggestions for teachers should apply the syllable method in early reading skills

Abstract

Abstract Education has an important role in developing the potential of a student. For this reason, innovation is needed in improving learning. This study aims to find out the steps for applying the demonstration method and student learning outcomes in science learning the material for the water cycle stages of class V SD Negeri Sidarum in 2021/2022. The research was carried out in class V, which consisted of 19 students, consisting of 8 male students and 11 female students. The design used in this study was classroom action research (CAR) using two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Methods of data collection using observation and tests. The instruments used in this study were student activity observation sheets and student learning outcomes assessment sheets. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative and descriptive quantitative analysis. The demonstration method can improve science learning outcomes about the water cycle in fifth grade students of SD Negeri Sidarum in the 2021/2022 academic year, this can be proven by research results showing that the passing rate of student learning outcomes has increased from 75% to 89.48%. Based on the analysis and discussion of the research, it can be concluded that the demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes in science learning about water cycle material in class V SD Negeri Sidarum for the academic year 2021/2022. Abstract

Online Learning (PJJ) causes students to spend more time studying at home. Teachers are required to adjust learning during the pandemic while ensuring that educational goals can still be achieved. However, during the pandemic, teachers have limitations in carrying out their duties as educators. Ki Hajar Dewantara has formulated a comprehensive education concept that involves the synergy of teachers, parents, and youth in an effort to achieve educational goals. Educational achievements do not only talk about cognitive aspects, but also other aspects which are termed cipta, rasa, and karsa. This research is a literature study sourced from the journals, books, and writings of Ki Hajar Dewantara. Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational concept emphasized that education is not only the responsibility of teachers, but also family and community members (youth organizations) known as the Education Tricenter. Meanwhile, teachers are still equipped with the ability to become professional teachers whose duties are not only to teach, but also to educate in accordance with the educational values ​​that have been initiated by Ki Hajar Dewantara.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) produce learning media products for animation video batik jumputan technique and 2) determine the feasibility of learning media animation video batik jumputan technique. The research method used is Research and Development which refers to the Borg and Gall development procedure. This research includes 10 stages, namely: 1) observation and finding potential problems, 2) data collection, 3) initial product development, 4) design validation, 5) design revision, 6) product testing, 7) product revision, 8) trial use, 9) revision, and 10) mass production. The results of the large group trial of 20 people showed a percentage of 60% strongly agree, 39% agree and 1% disagree. This shows that the learning media for this batik animation video is suitable for use in the jumputan technique learning process.

Abstract

Children need to get the right guidance, so as to enable them to develop their potential and abilities optimally. One of them is improving children's fine motor skills through storytelling activities. Most of the motor skills of TK/PAUD children develop less than optimally, most of the children have difficulty in thickening simple picture shapes, in many cases many children express their pictures carelessly or even get bored quickly. This is also experienced by the children of group A Kindergarten Dharma Wanita Citra Pertiwi, Josari Village, Jetis Ponorogo District. The causes of these problems are due to the lack of stimulation from the teacher, the use of media that is less attractive and also often using crayon media to express so that children become bored and children's fine motor development has not developed optimally. Therefore, researchers made observations by taking action while providing different learning to different subjects with food coloring media, and then by using food coloring media it was hoped that children would not get bored in increasing so that they could improve their fine motor skills.

Abstract

The quality of human resources in a country cannot be separated from the role of an educator, especially a teacher. Teachers who play an important role in various efforts to improve the quality of good and professional human resources. The competence of a professional teacher is one of the most important elements that an educator must have. If a teacher does not have a professional attitude then students will find it difficult to develop as the role of the teacher in the era of disruptive technology is a teacher who is aware of rapidly developing technological advances, without implementing the cultivation of good character for students. The era of disruptive technology is a big and tough challenge for Indonesian teachers. Because in reality our teachers face the era of disrupted technology when they are still preoccupied with the burden of delivering knowledge content plus various administrative tasks as teachers. Various ways must be done by various parties in the education unit in responding to the era of disrupted technology. The government has also implemented a program to improve the quality of education and teacher professionalism by holding a certification program, PKG (Pusat Kegiatan Guru), MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran), KKG (Kelompok Kerja Guru), improving welfare by seeking teacher professional allowances etc. to improve the professionalism of a teacher in the face of the era of disruptive technology. Therefore, this research is using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and literature study.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive research with the aim to describe students' ability in construct critical thinking. The subjects of the study were the students of SMP Negeri 8 Surakarta city for the academic year 2019/2020 which amounted to 762 students, with a sample size of 200 students . Population choose random sample of each class. Instrument used consisted of test the critical thinking skills of students through a questionnaire with 20 statements questionnaire number . The questionnaire sheet was developed based on 6 indicators that were the focus of the study. The indicator in question is a discussion that is able to ask questions, answer questions, solve problems, make conclusions, question and assess the results of observations . The results showed that if seen from the average level of student achievement on each indicator, the average achievement on the indicator analyzing argument is 72,28%, on the indicator of asking ability is 78,55%, on the indicator answering questions is 78,35%, on the indicator of solving the problem is 61,95%, the indicator makes a conclusion is 55,45%, and the indicator of the skill of evaluating and evaluating the results of observations is 72.50%. The results also showed that in general students of SMP Negeri 8 Surakarta had critical thinking skills with quite critical criteria, with 8 students classified as very non critical (4%), who were classified as non-critical were 47 students (23,5%), who were classified as as quite critical were 133 students (66,5%), who were classified as critical were 10 students (5%), and those classified as very critical were 2 students (1%). This proves that students' critical thinking skills still need to be trained further in order to be improved.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the identification of a fairly broad problem, so the actions taken need to limit the problem of students' paragraph writing skills in learning Indonesian. This study aims to apply the steps of the project based learning model to improve paragraph writing skills in Indonesian subjects in class IVa SDN 187/II Kuning Gading. This research was conducted in class IVa, which consisted of 20 students, consisting of 14 girls and 6 boys. The design used in this research is classroom action research (CAR) using two cycles, each cycle consists of; (1) action planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. Methods of data collection using observation and tests. The instruments used in this study were student activity sheets and student writing skills assessment sheets. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can improve the paragraph writing skills of class IVa students. The average value of paragraph writing skills in Cycle I was 72.02% with learning outcomes of 74.00%, then in Cycle II the average value of paragraph writing skills was 85.66% with learning outcomes of 86.00%.

Abstract

Learning Model The application of the Snowball Throwing Model is a learning method designed to provide benefits so that learning objectives are designed to provide students with skills in understanding what is read based on asking questions. A learning model that can generate learning outcomes for all students. The problems to be studied in this research are: (1) How is the application of the Snowball Throwing Model Learning Model in improving learning outcomes. Adipala Academic Year 2021/2022 ? (2) How much increase in learning outcomes in Theme 3 Sub-theme 1 Caring for Living Creatures after the implementation of the Snowball Throwing Model Learning Model for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Wlahar 03 Kec. Adipala Academic Year 2021/2022 ? While the objectives of this study are: (1) To describe the application of the Snowball Throwing Model Learning Model in improving learning outcomes. Adipala Academic Year 2021/2022. (2) To find out the improvement of learning outcomes in Theme 3 Sub-theme 1 Caring for Living Creatures after the implementation of the Snowball Throwing Model Learning Model for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Wlahar 03 Kec. Adipala Academic Year 2021/202 . The research uses the Kemmis design model based on cycles, consisting of four stages, namely action planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of the research is the fourth grade of SD Negeri Wlahar 03 Kec. Adipala Academic Year 2021/2022 with 30 students in grade and the instruments used in this study were Documentation/RPP, Observation, and Tests. The results obtained from the research based on observational data improvements obtained an increase in students' understanding of learning in the pre-cycle of (62.57) cycle I (68) students got results above the Learning Completeness Standard, in the second cycle increased to (88.57). From the improvement of learning carried out by researchers, it can be concluded that the use of the Snowball Throwing Learning Model method improves learning outcomes in pre-cycle learning - the 1st cycle with an increase of 5.4%. While in the learning cycle 1 - cycle 2 increased by 20.5%.
