Abstract

Latar belakang: Peran tenaga manusia sampai saat ini merupakan hal utama dan paling penting dalam proses produksi, tidak sedikit proses produksi yang masih menggunakan peralatan manual yang melibatkan peran manusia, atau lebih dikenal dengan pekerjaan manual. Padahal manusia memiliki keterbatasan khususnya dari segi fisik sehingga dapat menimbulkan kelelahan. Ditemukan beberapa persoalan sebagian besar cara kerja tidak dilakukan secara tidak ergonomis seperti posisi kerja jongkok, teknik pengangkatan beban yang keliru, sifat pekerjaan yang cepat karena pekerja di tuntut untuk mengejar target pekerja berisiko mengalami kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh usia, masa kerja, status gizi, durasi tidur, kebiasaan merokok sikap kerja dan beban kerja terhadap kelelahan kerja pada pekerja pabrik unit produksi “SP” alumunium Kota Yogyakarta.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan menggunakan studi cross sectional. Populasi berjumlah 153 orang, sampel diambil berdasarkan total sampling pada unit produksi  pabrik “SP” Alumunium. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat.Hasil: Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan, usia dengan kelelahan kerja p value = 0,040 (p<0,05, OR=2,52), , masa kerja dengan kelelahan kerja p value = 0,047 (p<0,05, OR=2,36), status gizi dengan kelelahan p value = 0,590 (p<0,05, OR=1,27), durasi tidur dengan kelelahan p value = 0,045 (p<0,05, OR= 0,045), kebiasaan merokok dengan kelelahan p value = 0,268 (p<0,05, OR= 1,61), sikap kerja dengan kelelahan p value = 0,045 (p<0,05, OR=2,4), beban kerja dengan kelelahan p value = 0,013 (p<0,05, OR=3,18). Analisis multivariat menggunakan uji regresi logistik mengungkapkan variabel yang paling mempengaruhi diantara semua variabel yaitu sikap kerja p value=0,022 dengan tingkat risiko 3 kali lebih besar pada sikap kerja kategori berat dan usia p value= 0,019 dengan tingkat risiko 3 kali lebih besar pada orang usia >35 tahun.Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil diatas bahwa variabel sikap kerja, beban kerja, usia, masa kerja, durasi tidur mempengaruhi kelelahan kerja sedangkan variabel status gizi dan kebiasaan merokok tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kelelahan kerja.

Abstract

The correlation of reproductive health information exposure from media on premarital sexual behaviour: an Indonesia demographic health survey 2012 analysisPurposeThis study aimed to determine the correlation of type and intensity of exposure of reproductive health information through media to the sexual behavior of adolescents and young adults in Indonesia.MethodsThis study used a cross-sectional design. The data used was the Indonesian sub-survey of adolescent reproductive health, Indonesia demographic and health survey.ResultsThe results showed that adolescents and young adults who receive the health information type of adolescent reproductive health category have a smaller prevalence in sexual intercourse before marriage than information of contraceptive methods category or both. The intensity of exposure to reproductive health information which was low or no exposure, have higher prevalence of premarital sexual behavior. Age, gender, level of education, level of wealth, smoking, drinking alcohol, drug consumption and dating intimacy are significantly associated with premarital sexual behavior of adolescents and young adults.ConclusionType and intensity of reproductive health information are significantly associated with premarital sexual behavior of adolescents and young adults. The high intensity of exposure and type of adolescent reproductive Health category have a smaller prevalence in sexual intercourse before marriage.

Abstract

Warning of illustrated cigarette packaging and smoking cessation intention in SlemanPurposeThis study aimed to identify the relationship of pictorial warnings to cigarette packaging with the intention to stop smoking or not to start smoking in Sleman regency.MethodsThe study used secondary data from the study "The effectiveness of warning images on cigarette packs on smoking behavior in Sleman, Yogyakarta" from 2015 and used a cross- sectional design with 155 respondents. Data were analyzed using chi square tests with significance level 95% (p <0.05) and multiple logistic regression test.ResultsThere was a correlation between pictorial warning, social environment and perceptions of the dangers of cigarettes with the intention of quitting smoking or the intention of not starting to smoke.ConclusionPictorial warning on cigarette packs, good social environment and perception of cigarette hazard may support the intention to stop smoking on smokers and intention not to smoke on non-smokers. Therefore, pictorial warnings that show the danger of smoking should be produced more as an intervention to reduce the intention of smoker to smoke and prevent non-smoker intention from starting smoking.

Abstract

Neonatal asphyxia and growth development of children aged 6-24 months in Luwuk hospital, Central SulawesiPurposeThis research aimed to explore the associations between the occurrences of asphyxia neonatorum and development of children at the age of 6-24 months at hospital of Luwuk, South Sulawesi.MethodsA quantitative approach was employed to gather the data for the study, utilizing a cross-sectional survey design. The sample (n = 6-24 months) consisted of children at hospital of Luwuk of Banggai, South Sulawesi. The research instrument to collect development data of the infants was DDST II. Bivariate analysis was conducted by using chi-square tests to investigate any strong association between independent variable and dependent variable using Ratio Prevalence. Multivariate analysis was conducted by using logistic regression tests using a 95% Confidence Interval and a significance level of 0.05.ResultsThe occurrence of asphyxia neonatorum was statistically significant with the development of children at the age of 6-24 months (p<0.005). Children who experience asphyxia neonatorum were more likely with greater risk 2.11 times to have suspect development than those who did not.ConclusionThere was an association between the occurrences of asphyxia neonatorum and the development of children at the age 6-24 months at hospital of Luwuk of Banggai, South Sulawesi.

Abstract

The use of personal protective equipment by swallow nest harvesters: an ethnographic study on safety behavior at Karangduwur BeachPurposeThe purpose of this study was to determine the behavior of traditional self-protection used by the swallow nest harvesters.MethodsThis research is a qualitative study with an ethnographic approach. The researchers participated in observing the behavior of bird swallow nest harvesters. The sample was chosen purposively based on the recommendation of the village head. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews and field observations. Secondary data were collected through document search on swiftlet nest download. The study was conducted from August-October 2016 with the instruments of interview guides, observation sheets and documents.ResultsDHarvesters used non-standard personal protective equipment. Downloaders tended to use traditional personal protective equipment, with the reasoning that using too much protection will interrupt the harvesting process. ConclusionThe use of personal protective equipment by harvesters is influenced by an interaction of factors between individuals and the environment and vice versa. The concerned agencies should pay close attention to the use of personal protective equipment used by Swallow's nest harvesters.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kanker serviks menduduki urutan tertinggi di negara berkembang dan berada pada urutan ke 10 di negara maju atau urutan ke 5 secara global. Di Indonesia, kanker serviks menduduki urutan pertama dari 10 kanker terbanyak yang ditemukan di 13 laboratorium patologi anatomi di Indonesia. Data Riskesdas (2013) menunjukkan, Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu provinsi dengan prevalensi kanker serviks tertinggi yaitu 1,5‰. Faktor risiko kanker serviks umumnya  terkait dengan aktivitas seksual, sosial ekonomi rendah, hygiene serta penggunaan kontrasepsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian kanker serviks di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.Metode: Studi  case control dilakukan pada bulan Juli-Oktober 2016.  Kasus adalah pasien yang menderita kanker serviks berdasarkan diagnosis dokter , dan kontrol adalah pasien yang tidak menderita kanker serviks. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji chi-square dan regresi logistik.  Hasil: Sebanyak  105 kasus dan 105 kontrol dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian kanker serviks di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta adalah variabel usia pertama kali berhubungan seksual ≤ 20 tahun dengan aOR sebesar 2,41 (95% CI = 1,35-4,29; p = 0,003) dan penggunaan kontrasepsi  jenis oral/pil dengan aOR sebesar 3,40 (95% CI = 1,46-7,92; p = 0,004), sedangkan jumlah pasangan,paritas, pembalut, sirkumsisi dan merokok tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian kanker serviks di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.Kesimpulan: Bagi wanita yang belum aktif seksual dapat melakukan vaksinasi HPV. Menggunakan kondom ketika berhubungan seksual. Bagi wanita usia 30-49 tahun (aktif seksual) diharapkan untuk dapat mengikuti program deteksi dini kanker serviks dengan metode inspeksi visual asam asetat (IVA) yang sekarang bisa dilakukan di puskesmas. Menjalankan pemeriksaan papsmear minimal 1 kali dalam setahun.Kata Kunci: kanker serviks, case control, Yogyakarta

Abstract

Differences in the number of germs in the palms of nurses according to the level of knowledge and compliance of handwashing in private hospitalsPurposeThis study aimed to measure the difference of germs on the hands of nurses according to level of knowledge and compliance of handwashing in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta.MethodsThis study used observational analytic method with a cross sectional study design. The population in this research was nurses who work in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta totalling 68 people. Measurements used questionnaires and direct observation of handwashing, as well as direct sampling for examination of the number of germs in the palms of nurses.ResultsThere was no difference in the number of germs in the palms of the nurses with knowledge level (p = 0.541), and individual characteristics (p > 0.05). There was a difference in the number of germs in the nurse's hands (p = 0.000) with adherence. The result of observation showed that the lack of compliance of hand washing was due to the lack of awareness of nurses about handwashing.ConclusionThere are differences of germs in the hands of nurses with compliance with handwashing. Therefore, it is necessary to check and supervise handwashing routinely in order to increase awareness of the importance of handwashing by health personnel especially nurses.

Abstract

Tujuan:  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian kanker serviks di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.Metode: Studi  case control dilakukan pada bulan Juli-Oktober 2016. Sebanyak  105 kasus dan 105 kontrol dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Kasus adalah pasien yang menderita kanker serviks berdasarkan diagnosis dokter , dan kontrol adalah pasien yang tidak menderita kanker serviks. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji chi-square dan regresi logistik.  Hasil:  Faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian kanker serviks di RSUP Dr. Sardjito adalah variabel usia pertama kali berhubungan seksual ≤ 20 tahun dengan aOR sebesar 2,41 (95% CI = 1,35-4,29; p=0,003) dan penggunaan kontrasepsi jenis oral/pil dengan aOR sebesar 3,40 (95% CI = 1,46-7,92; p=0,004), sedangkan jumlah pasangan,paritas, pembalut, sirkumsisi dan merokok tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian kanker serviks.Implikasi praktis: Wanita yang belum aktif seksual dapat melakukan vaksinasi HPV. Abstract

Stres kerja telah menjadi salah satu masalah kesehatan yang paling serius pada abad kedua puluh. Stres kerja banyak terjadi pada para pekerja di sektor kesehatan karena tanggung jawab terhadap manusia pada sektor kesehatan menyebabkan pekerja kesehatan lebih rentan terhadap stres. Stres kerja yang dialami oleh para perawat diprediksi akan cenderung terus meningkat di tahun-tahun yang akan datang. Hal tersebut merupakan sebuah tren yang tidak dapat diabaikan karena sangat erat kaitannya dengan keselamatan para perawat dan pasien. Tujuan dari review ini yaitu  untuk melihat faktor resiko stress kerja pada perawat dan manajemen stres kerja yang digunakan untuk mengatasinya. Metode penelitian menggunakan sistematik review dengan melakukan pencarian data Base seperti melalui ProQuest, ScinceDirect, dan Google Scholar menggunakan kata kunci. Hasil penyaringan diperoleh 6 studi yang memenuhi kriteria. Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa faktor risiko stres di berbagai negara sangat beragam  mulai dari tingginya beban kerja, tekanan manajemen rumah sakit hingga tingginya kecemasan terhadap pasien. Pengelolaan stres yang dilakukan dibeberapa negara hampir sama yaitu dengan pendekatan individual. Pengelolaan stres melalui pendekatan individual terlihat cukup efektif menurunkan stres level pada perawat, menurunkan kecemasan dan mampu membuat kesehatan umum perawat menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Knowledge and attitudes of parents about child immunization status in BantulPurposeThe purpose of this paper was to determine the relationship of knowledge, and parental attitudes with the status of child immunization in the working area of Puskesmas Banguntapan II Bantul Yogyakarta.MethodsA cross-sectional study was conducted involving the mothers of 0-12 months old children in the working area of Banguntapan II Bantul Yogyakarta Primary Health Care. Simple random sampling was used.ResultsThe results showed that there was a significant attitude relationship with the immunization status of their children with high category as much as 86.9%. These results showed that as much as 86.9% immunization status of children are not complete. The OR value of knowledge was 0.7 with a CI value of 0.15 to 4.04. This model shows that the knowledge of respondents with parental attitudes is meaningful both statistically and practically.ConclusionThis study contributes to the knowledge that there is a significant relationship between parental attitudes with child immunization status in the working area of Banguntapan II Bantul Yogyakarta Primary Health Care.
