IMPLEMENTATION OF PORTFOLIO-BASED LEARNING STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE STUDENTS 'WRITING SKILLS Ipa Rasida; Bambang Sahono

This study aims to describe the application of portfolio-based learning strategies can improve the writing skills of students. The research design used was a research action. The subject is a JUNIOR grade 8 students that add up to 22 people consists of 4 men and 18 women. The data in this study were gathered using observation sheets and test writing skills. Data analysis using statistical techniques i.e. average Test and test t. Data that cannot be analyzed with statistics is described and given arguments. The results of this study demonstrate the application of learning strategies based banwa portfolio on the Indonesian Language lessons can improve the writing skills of students. The implementation of the strategy for the pembeljan- based portifolio can be applied to other subjects

This study aims to describe the application of cooperative learning models for examples of non-examples to improve critical thinking skills and student achievement on geography subjects in class XI IPS in SMA 1 Tebing Tinggi. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research method, with procedures for planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS at SMA 1 Tebing Tinggi, which numbered 25 students consisting of 7 men and 8 women. Data collection techniques used are observation and test sheets. Data were analyzed by statistics, namely mean (mean) and t-test. The results of the study concluded that the application of cooperative learning models of examples of non-examples types can improve critical thinking skills and student learning achievement on geography subjects in class XI IPS in SMA 1 Tebing Tinggi.

This study aims to describe the differences in the ability to classify and count between groups of children who use the assisted play method of environmentally based teacher-made media and groups of children who use the playing method with poster media at TK Negeri 3 Bengkulu Selatan. This study used an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. Collecting data in this study using the observation sheet the ability to classify and the ability to count. The data analysis of this study used the t-test. The results showed that the method of playing assisted by environmentally based teacher-made media has a significant effect on the ability to classify and count. The method of playing using environmentally based teacher-made media that is done appropriately, effectively affects the ability to classify and count in the children of TK Negeri 3 Bengkulu Selatan. The implication of this research is that the teacher applies classifying and arithmetic learning in early childhood not limited to media commonly used in the classroom but can also use environmentally based teacher-made media. The results of this study recommend that the environmentally-based teacher-assisted media-assisted play method can improve classifying and counting skills

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ROLE PLAYING METHOD TO IMPROVE STUDENT ACTIVITIES AND SPEAKING SKILLS (Study on Indonesian Subject of Grade IV SD Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu) Baniah Barizah; Alexon Alexon

This study aims to improve the activity and speaking skills of students in learning Indonesian in grade IV SD Negeri 11 Bengkulu City. This research is a classroom action research combined with a quasi-experimental. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 11 Bengkulu City as the PTK class, the experimental class, and the control class. Data collection techniques in this study used observation sheets and learning achievement tests given to students to get answers from students in the form of oral, written, or action tests. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Role playing method can increase student activity in learning Indonesian in grade IV SD Negeri 11 Bengkulu City; (2) The role playing method can improve speaking skills in Indonesian language learning in Class IV SD Negeri 11 Bengkulu City; (3) Role playing method to improve student activity and student speaking skills in learning Indonesian in grade IV SD Negeri 11 Bengkulu City. Data analysis using the average value, classical learning completeness, and hypothesis testing analysis. The results showed that the teacher's ability to implement the learning method, namely the first cycle score of 25.5 with sufficient category, the second cycle score 37.5 with good category and the third cycle score 42 with good category. In improving students 'speaking activities and skills in learning Indonesian, it is better to use the role playing method because it has been proven to be effective in increasing students' speaking activity and skills

This study aims to (1) describe to increase student attention on ICT learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kaur (2) describes to improve student achievement in learning ICT in class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kaur (3) describes effective implementation of learning method exercises to improve student achievement in learning ICT in class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kaur. The research conducted is a classroom action research combined with quasi experiment. The subjects of this study are the students of class VIII a and class VIII b SMP Negeri 11 Kaur as PTK classes and experimental classes. While class VIII c SMP Negeri 11 Kaur, as a control class. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted in the following way: Observation, Observation is a method of data collection using observation of the object of research. to observe student activeness. The test of learning achievement, test as a means of assessment in the form of questions given to students to get answers from students in the form of oral, written, or action tests. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of LKS assisted training methods to: (1) improve the ability of attention on ICT learning of students, (2) Application of LKS assisted training methods can improve student achievement in ICT learning, (3) student learning achievement on learning ICT class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Kaur.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the influence of explicit instruction learning model to improve student learning achievement. The design used in Classroom Action Research (CAR) in class X TBSM 1 There were 36 students consisting of 35 men and 1 woman as respondents in the study. Data collection uses multiple choice objective tests with 4 answer choices. Test questions have been tested to see their validity and reliability. Data analysis using statistical assistance, namely the t test. The results of the study show that there is an influence of explicit instruction learning model to improve student learning achievement. The application of explicit instruction learning models in learning can be applied to other fields of study

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the method of assisting with media images in increasing the ability to speak and remember early childhood in kindergarten PGRI Kasih Ibu, South Bengkulu Regency. The research design is collaborative CAR which means researchers or teachers together to learn to improve the quality or learning outcomes. Subjects in this study were children of Group B TK PGRI Kasih Ibu, South Bengkulu Regency, totaling 15 people. Data collection techniques use teacher observation sheets and child observation sheets (observation of speaking ability and recall ability). Data analysis uses the mean test and t test. This study aims to describe the application of discovery learning models to improve the solving problem ability, and student learning achievement, and describe the effectiveness of the implementation of discovery learning models can improve student learning achievement. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method followed by true experiments. The subjects of this study were students of class XII MIPA 1 in SMA 1 Tebing Tinggi. Data collection techniques used were observation and test sheets. Qualitative data were analyzed inductively and quantitative data were analyzed quantatively using the average formula and t test. The results of this study conclude that the application of the discovery learning model can improve students' ability to solve problems and student achievement, and effectively improve student achievement in class XII MIPA.1 in SMA 1 Tebing Tinggi

This study aimed to describe the application methods of drill and practice in improving discipline and skill in using hand tools in studying automotive basic work subject class X motorcycle engineering of SMK Negeri 1 Empat Lawang. This research purpose to: describe the application of direct intructions models using the Geogebra application to improve learning achievement. This study uses classroom action research methods which are divided into three cycles. The class that was made for this study were VIII.e students totaling 21 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were obtained by observation for learning activities, while for learning achievement data using pre-test and post-test questions. The data obtained is then processed by calculating the average value for learning, and for learning achievement the data obtained is processed by looking for the average value and t-test formula. This study concludes that the application of direct intructions models uses the Geogebra application to improve accuracy and learning achievement.
