Sastra, mencakup kajian mengenai puisi, prosa fiksi, drama, dan film dengan pendekatan struktural, stilistika, semiotika, sosiologi sastra, psikologi sastra, psikoanalis, ekologi sastra, dekonstruksi, filologi, fenomenologi, marxisme, pascakolonial, feminisme, resepsi sastra, antropologi sastra, dan kajian sastra lainnya. Sastra Terapan, mencakup kajian mengenai pembelajaran puisi, pembelajaran prosa fiksi, pembelajaran drama, dan kajian sastra terapan lainnya.

<![CDATA[Assertive speech acts function to say or convey something. In the drama series imperfect the series season 2 episode 1, there are many utterances that contain assertive speech acts. The problem in this study is how assertive speech acts are in the drama series imperfect the series season 2 episode 1. This study aims to describe, analyze and interpret assertive speech acts in the drama series imperfect the series season 2 episode 1. Data collection is from May 8, 2023 until June 7, 2023, which amounts to 14 data. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach in which the results of the data will be in the form of writing not numbers in the form of speech, so that the results of the data are in the form of utterances from conversations that have been observed. The results of the study show that there are assertive speech acts in the drama series imperfect the series season 2 episode 1. The researchers found four assertive speech acts with the functions of informing, suggesting, complaining, and boasting. Assertive speech act informs that there are 7 utterances, assertive speech act suggests finding 6 utterances, assertive speech act complains the researcher finds 4 utterances, then assertive speech act boasts there are 2 utterances.]]>

<![CDATA[This article is a study that aims to describe the differences in the Malay language found in the Pelalawan area and the Riau province in the study of phonetics in phonology. This research method uses qualitative research with content approach analysis, such as collecting data and analyzing a data, this research uses interview techniques, note-taking, describes utterances into written language, classifies words into Pelalawan Malay and Riau province Malay which have different pronunciation of phonetic sounds. located at the beginning, middle and end of syllables, classifying the sound or phonetic differences of the Malay pronunciation of the same word based on the area of the speaker, and making conclusions. In this research, residents who live in the area that are the object of research are needed.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this research is to find out how the development of language acquisition occurs in children aged 3 years. This research is qualitative-descriptive in which observational research, interviews, and recording methods have been carried out. The subject in this study is Aisyah Hanum Syahidah, who is currently 3 years old. The data obtained in this research is descriptive data. As for the process of data analysis, namely the researcher plays a recording containing the communication process between the researcher and the research subject repeatedly, then examines the vocabulary mentioned by the research subject based on phonological studies. At the age of 3 years, the ability to acquire language in children is quite good, but there are several phonemes that are still difficult to pronounce according to the actual rules. Based on the results of the research, the researchers found three categories of language acquisition abilities in three-year-old Hanum children, namely fluent, moderate and not fluent. At the fluent level, language acquisition by Hanum is [p], [w], [m], [u], [a], [e], [o], [l], [k], [j], [ w] and [y]. At a moderate level, language acquisition by Hanum is [s], [h], [b] and [i]. At the non-fluent level, Hanum language acquisition is [r].]]>

<![CDATA[The reason researchers examined perceptions in increasing learning motivation was so that they could find out how perceptions influenced student learning motivation at SMPN 1 Tembilahan. The problem of this research is how the response from class VIII students about increasing learning motivation using the independent curriculum. Data collection from May 10 to June 10 2023, totaling 31 data. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with survey method. The researcher used the survey method with the preparation of the researcher looking for data related to students' perceptions of learning using the independent curriculum, in the form of a theoretical companion book and making a questionnaire to distribute to class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tembilahan. This study aims to describe the learning motivation of class VIII students by using the Merdeka Curriculum in learning Indonesian. The results of this study prove that the learning motivation of class VIII students using the independent curriculum, the researcher found 31 respondents. <![CDATA[Pragmatics is one of the sciences that studies deixis, deixis as a way to direct something that is directly related to the situation of speech. In this study, the researcher chose the Match or Not Series as the research subject. The reason the researcher researched the Matchmaking or Not Series episode 1 was because there were a lot of deixis the researcher found, namely persona deixis, space or place deixis, time deixis, and discourse deixis. The problem in this study is how the form of deixis in the matchmaking series or not episode 1. Data collection for this research was from 17 June 2023 to 24 June 2023, totaling 246 data. In this study the authors used qualitative research with descriptive analysis methods. The stages carried out in this study were the preparation of the writer to find data related to the research topic in the form of a theoretical companion book and watching the series Match or Not episode 1 then collect data, mark the part that contains deixis then save the data obtained. This study aims to focus on describing the deixis of persona, time, place contained in the Matchmaking or Not Series episode 1. The results of this study indicate that the deixis contained in the Matchmaking or Not Series episode 1, the researcher found that persona deixis is divided into the first persona deixis. singular, plural second person deixis, third person singular deixis, deiksis tempat dan deiksis waktu.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to describe the vowel sound e in the Indragiri Hulu community. This study uses document and interview methods that have been collected by the author. The research data is in the form of everyday vocabulary containing the vowel ‘e’ pepet /. This study also uses phonological theory in the pronunciation of the vowel ‘e’. The results of this study show that the vocabulary used by the community has the ending ‘e’ at the end of the vocabulary. Vocabulary that is spoken has become a characteristic of the surrounding community in vocabulary or speaking. besides that, the language of the people of Indragiri Hulu has a very prominent characteristic by getting results on the appearance of the front, middle ‘e’ vowel, by getting results that have characteristics and are not rounded. <![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the content of High Order Thinking Skills in the Indonesian Language textbook for Junior High School (SMP/MTS) Grade VII published by Kemendikbud. The results of the study show that the textbook has a good amount of HOTS content. This research has positive implications for education, especially in the field of Indonesian Language education. The textbook can be considered as a high-quality learning resource and can be used in schools that have not yet adopted this textbook. The presence of HOTS in the exercises provided in the textbook brings significant benefits to the students, as it helps them develop critical and creative thinking skills. These skills are crucial in facing complex challenges and situations in the future. This research has the potential to serve as a strong foundation for improving the quality and relevance of Indonesian Language textbooks in the future. Thus, this research makes a positive contribution to the development of Indonesian Language education and curriculum enhancement at the Junior High School level (SMP/MTS).]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, interpret, and conclude the types of illocutionary speech acts in Buya Yahya's Lectures on YouTube Al-Bahjah TV. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. In this paper, the most common illocutionary speech acts found in Buya Yahya's lectures are directive illocutionary speech acts because the speaker tries to influence or influence the speech partner to take the actions he wants in accordance with the speech delivered. The least common illocutionary act is declarative illocutionary act because declarative illocutionary aims to create new things (status or circumstances) that can be carried out by someone who has special authority in a particular institution or institution. It is hoped that the results of this study can be applied in the world of education, especially for Indonesian language educators as reference material for teaching materials on one of the studies of pragmatics, namely the types of illocutionary speech acts.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out, analyze, and interpret the forms of assertive speech acts found in the film because of the legacy of director Muhadkly Acho. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis method. The data collection techniques used are documentation, observing, and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the most commonly found assertive speech acts are assertive speech acts of informing with marker indicators conveying news/information. This proves that the use of assertive speech acts, especially telling speeches, is caused by the influence of the character's speech. Every utterance made by the characters in this film cannot be separated from the aspect of communication. The communication is contained in the form of dialogue. The dialogue carried out by the characters in the film conveys information in the form of opinions, thoughts, goals, and feelings either directly or indirectly. As for the least assertive speech act found in the film Gara-Gara Warisan directed by Muhadkly Acho, namely the assertive speech act of boasting with the marker indicator of giving praise/proud. From this statement it shows that assertive speech acts have an effect on the development of linguistics, especially pragmatics which is an important science in learning language according to the context. Without the knowledge of pragmatics, speech acts are difficult to understand for both speakers and speech partners which results in communication not running smoothly. <![CDATA[This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample used in this study was 64 class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tanag Putih. Collecting data in this study using Observation Techniques and Tests. Based on the results and discussion in the research on the ability to write news texts for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Putih for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, it can be concluded that the average score of students’ ability in writing news texts based on the elements of news is 81.6 (categorized as good), and the everage score of students’ ability in writing news texts based on news presentation patterns is 67.68 (categorized as fair).]]>
