Abstract

Learning outcomes of language error analysis courses are students mastering linguistic theories, types of language analysis, and language error analysis techniques and are able to apply theories of language error analysis at each level of linguistics. But unfortunately, the learning achievement is difficult to achieve because based on the phenomenon that the writer found as lecturer in the course of language error analysis, many students could not reach the determined target and did not have the criteria set by the lecturer or university lecturer. Based on this problem, the formulation of the problem of this research is how to analyze the errors of grammar study program of Indonesian Language and Literature in Riau Islamic University. The study used a descriptive method with a research population of all sixth semester students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at the Riau Islamic University and used random sampling as a research sample. Research Results The ability to analyze language errors in the level of phonology of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Islamic University with an average score of 47.32 with a very poor category. Meanwhile, the ability to analyze language errors at the level of morphology of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program Students at Islamic University with an average score of 33.13 with the category of failure.

Abstract

A thesis written by students of the Islamic University of Riau, especially the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, still contains language errors, even though these students have gained in-depth knowledge and knowledge related to language, both oral and written. These errors occur at the syntactic level, especially the use of the phrase and sentence fields. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to describe the syntactic errors contained in the thesis of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau. This study uses the content analysis method with data collection techniques in the form of reading and recording techniques and data analysis techniques through data identification, data classification, data analysis, and concluding research results. The data source in this study is the thesis of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau who graduated in the first period of 2021. Based on the results and discussion, there are several language errors at the syntactic level in the phrase and sentence fields. Language errors in the phrase field include errors in using inappropriate prepositions, incorrect wording, excessive use of elements, and excessive use of superlatives. Meanwhile, the errors in the sentence fields include unsubjected sentences, unsubjected and unpredicated sentences, unnecessary use of question words, illogical sentences, and inserted between subjects and predicates.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of affixing, reduplication, and compounding of derived verbs in the Malay language of the Meranti Islands Regency. This research is a field research that uses a qualitative approach with an ethnographic method. Data were collected through observation, interview, recording, and face-to-face conversation techniques. Based on the research of derivative verbs in Riau Malay, Meranti Islands Regency, it can be concluded that verbs have a big role in forming a sentence. The process of deriving verbs in Riau Malay, Meranti Islands Regency is also very productive. This can be seen from the various processes of verb derivation such as affixation, reduplication, and compounding. The types of affixes in this study consisted of the prefixes me-, mem-, me-, pe-, be-, di-, te-, suffixes -kan and -i, and the confixes di-kan, ter-kan, and per-kan. In Riau Malay, Meranti Islands Regency, it was found that there were 24 data affixation processes, 14 data reduplication processes, and 8 data compounding processes.

Abstract

The availability of reading teaching materials is very necessary in future learning. In today's learning, teachers are required to be more creative in creating interesting learning, but still pay attention to the characteristics of the nation's culture. Therefore, it is necessary to develop teaching materials for reading through humanist literacy based on e-books. The basic problem is currently the lack of availability of digitally integrated reading teaching materials. The problem in this study relates to the need for e-book-based humanist reading teaching materials. The purpose of this study is to find out the need for e-book-based string reading teaching materials. The research method used is descriptive method. The data of this research are the results of questionnaires, interviews and reflection results. These data were sourced from research respondents who were obtained randomly. Data analysis was carried out in an interactive reflective manner using TagCword and AntCont. The results of the study describe students and lecturers in Riau province need to develop e-book-based reading teaching materials. The content of the required material is material that is integrated with the Malay Teaching and Learning. The text orientation needed by students and lecturers in Riau province is a text that reflects the attitudes and behavior of the Malay people.

Abstract

Di Riau, khususnya di tingkat sekolah menengah, baik SMP maupun SMA, bahan ajar yang digunakan guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih memiliki kelemahan. Di antara kelemahan tersebut adalah guru belum mampu mendekatkan dan mengenalkan kearifan lokal kepada siswa mereka. Banyak materi pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang menekankan budaya lain, bahkan budaya Barat. Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia seharusnya berfokus pada kearifan lokal bukan hanya untuk memperoleh pengetahuan sistemik. Teks narasi atau cerita rakyat dapat menjadi salah satu budaya atau kearifan lokal yang dapat dimasukkan ke dalam bahan ajar sekolah menegah di Riau. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, peneliti harus membuat materi pembelajaran teks narasi yang berbasis kearifan lokal untuk siswa sekolah menengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan Model ADDIE. Model ini merupakan kerangka kerja yang paling sering digunakan dalam penelitian Instructional Design. Model ADDIE memiliki lima tahap yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Data penelitian diperoleh dari responden dengan Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli praktisi, dan ahli media. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar menulis teks narasi berbasis local wisdom bagi siswa sekolah menengah dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks narasi dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari rata-rata tiga ahli validator yakni validator bahasa dengan rata-rata persentase 88%, validator materi 89%, dan validator media 88, 3%. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data dari ketiga ahli tersbut diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 88,4 % dengan interval sangat valid.

Abstract

Kesantunan berbahasa dalam setiap tuturan tentunya menjadi perhatian penting bagi penuturnya, terkhusus pada tuturan interogatif. Kegiatan berkomunikasi akan berjalan baik apabila penutur dan lawan tutur menggunakan bahasa yang baik dan juga santun. Bahasa yang santun dapat diukur berdasarkan skala kesantunan Leech. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk skala kesantunan berbahasa dalam tuturan talkhow Kick Andy dengan tema Ketakutan di Balik Bebasnya Umar Patek di Youtube. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis isi, karena pada penelitian ini penulis akan mengidentifikasi data, kemudian mengklasifikasi data penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah teknik dokumentasi, teknik simak bebas libat cakap, dan teknik catat. Hasil penelitian ini memaparkanmbentuk skala kesantunan yakni skala keuntungan dan kerugian 99 tuturan, skala pilihan 41 tuturan, skala ketidaklangsungan 33 tuturan, skala keotoritasan 1 tuturan, dan juga skala jarak sosial data tuturan tidak ditemukan. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini ialah tuturan yang digunakan dalam talkshow Kick Andy dengan tema Ketakutan di Balik Bebasnya Umar Patek tergolong ke dalam tuturan yang tidak santun. Tuturan yang tergolong santun 61 tuturan sedangkan tuturan yang tergolong tidak santun 113 tuturan. Dengan demikian tuturan talkshow Kick Andy Ketakutan di Balik Bebasnya Umar Patek lebih banyak didapati tuturan tidak santun. Penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi pengguna bahasa sehingga pada saat bertutur lebih memperhatikan santun tidaknya tuturan yang disampaikan.

Abstract

Language is an ability that humans have with other humans by using signs, for example gestures and words. Language has an important role in human life, because with the existence of language a culture will be achieved in the midst of society. Based on the Banjar Hulu dialect verbs, the problem can be formulated: (1) What is the form of the verbs in the Banjar Hulu dialect, Tembilahan Kota District? The aims of this study are: (1) To describe the forms of verbs in the Banjar language, Banjar Hulu dialect, Tembilahan Kota district. The information and data collected is described and analyzed. The author uses Alwi's supporting theory, et al (2010), and several other supporting theories. The population of this research is the Verbs of the Banjar Language, Banjar Hulu Dialect, Tembilahan City District. The method used is the method in this research is descriptive method. This study concluded that there were 37 which were divided into original verbs and derived verbs. There are 4 prefixes found after doing the analysis, namely maN-, ba-, ka-, ta. Found 3 suffixes namely -an, -kan, -I, as well 3 confixes maN-i, ba-an, and ta-an. The Banjar and Indonesian language systems largely influence each other. This is evidenced by the discovery of several vocabularies that have overall morphological similarities. Kata Kunci: morphology, verb, Banjar language

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan menulis cerita dengan tema religi telah dilakukan kepada siswa kelas IX.8 di SMPN 1 Tualang. Pelatihan ini dianggap urgen karena minat siswa dalam bersastra khususnya menulis cerita mash rendah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan keterampilan menulis, meningkatkan pemahaman agama, membangun karakter dan moral, serta menciptakan lingkungan kreatif dan toleran di sekolah. Metode pelatihan mencakup pembukaan dan pemaparan materi, pelatihan menulis, presentasi dan diskusi, serta penilaian dan penghargaan. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan menulis siswa, pemahaman agama yang lebih dalam, dan terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang lebih kreatif dan toleran. Analisis hasil, hambatan yang dihadapi, serta implikasi jangka panjang dari pelatihan ini dijelaskan dalam artikel pengabdian ini. Simpulan menyoroti pentingnya pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam mengembangkan potensi kreatif dan nilai-nilai moral siswa.

Abstract

The principle of politeness in language is an effort to avoid conflict between the speaker and the interlocutor in the communication process. Language politeness is an utterance that uses words, intonations, and sentences that do not harm the interlocutor. The problem in this research is how are the principles of language politeness in the Mata Najwa program on Trans 7 Television Station?. The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, and interpret the principles of language politeness in the Mata Najwa program at Trans 7 Televisa Station. The theory that the author uses is the theory of politeness principles Rahardi (2005). The source of this data is all the speeches of the presenters and guest stars in the Mata Najwa program on the theme of the End of the Year Guyub at Trans 7 Televisa Station. The method used is descriptive method. The technique that the writer uses in this research is the documentation technique, the listening technique, and the note-taking technique. The results showed that there were 593 utterances in the Mata Najwa program on the Trans 7 Television Station. The results of the author's research regarding the principle of politeness which consists of 6 maxims, namely 1) the maxim of wisdom that obeys is 20 utterances and the maxim of wisdom that violates is 5 utterances, 2) the maxim of generosity that obeys is 5 utterances and the maxim of generosity that violates is 2 utterances, 3 ) the maxim of respect that obeys totaling 23 utterances and the violating maxims of appreciation amounted to 5 utterances, 4) the maxim of obeying were 16 utterances and the maxim of simplicity that violated the utterances of 10, 5) the maxims of agreement which obeyed were 10 utterances and the maxim of agreement that violated the utterances were 4 utterances, 6) The sympathetic maxim that obeys is 3 utterances and the sympathetic maxim that violates is 4 utterances.
