Publikasi jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan gagasan konseptual dari hasil penelitian dan hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dicapai pada bidang sastra, bahasa, dan pendidikan Jurnal Sajak secara khusus menitikberatkan pada permasalahan pokok dalam pengembangan ilmu-ilmu sebagai berikut: Pendidikan secara Umum. Sastra, mencakup kajian mengenai puisi, prosa fiksi, drama, dan film dengan pendekatan struktural, stilistika, semiotika, sosiologi sastra, psikologi sastra, psikoanalis, ekologi sastra, dekonstruksi, filologi, fenomenologi, marxisme, pascakolonial, feminisme, resepsi sastra, antropologi sastra, dan kajian sastra lainnya. Sastra Terapan, mencakup kajian mengenai pembelajaran puisi, pembelajaran prosa fiksi, pembelajaran drama, dan kajian sastra terapan lainnya.

<![CDATA[This service aims to improve the quality of student literacy learning at SMAN 2 Tapung Hilir through training in designing reading literacy questions using ChatGPT. Training includes a basic understanding of ChatGPT, techniques for designing effective questions, and utilizing relevant ChatGPT features. Through the training stages, teachers demonstrate their ability to apply newly acquired knowledge. Hands-on practice using ChatGPT provides valuable experience, with guidance from resource persons to ensure in-depth understanding. Group discussions and question and answer sessions facilitate the exchange of experiences and ideas among participants. Next, the practice and assessment stages provide opportunities for teachers to test their understanding through concrete practice tasks. Assessment of the quality of questions and constructive feedback strengthens the learning process. The results of the questionnaire showed a high level of satisfaction from participants, illustrating that this training provided significant benefits for teachers]]>

<![CDATA[One of the problems in making questions is achieving a balanced proposition. To achieve a balanced proposition, both easy, medium and difficult questions must be represented properly. In this study, the authors used a quantitative approach and descriptive method. Based on an analysis of the odd semester exam questions for class VIII Indonesian at SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru for the 2018/2019 academic year, the authors conclude that the difficulty level index aspect of the questions is categorized as easy, because the highest percentage of questions are in the easy category, namely 34 questions (68%). However, when viewed from the aspect of item discrimination, it is categorized as inappropriate because the highest percentage is in the ineligible category, namely 41 items (82%). In terms of the effectiveness of the distractor, as a whole, seen from the students' answers, it is categorized as having a distractor that does not function properly. Therefore, these items cannot be used and must be discarded.]]>

<![CDATA[This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method to create and test the effectiveness of a portfolio assessment instrument in writing explanatory texts for 8th-grade students at SMPN 34 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2022/2023. The study focuses on using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluations) development model in the process of developing the assessment instrument. The objectives of this research are to evaluate the levels of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the assessment instrument. The research findings indicate that the developed portfolio assessment instrument meets the validity criteria with a score of 70, making it a valid instrument. Furthermore, it also meets the practicality criteria with an average score of 82.7, indicating that the instrument is highly practical in the teaching context. Moreover, the instrument is proven to be effective with an average score of 78, demonstrating its effectiveness in measuring students' abilities in writing explanatory texts. This research produces a portfolio assessment instrument that can be used in teaching the writing of explanatory texts for 8th-grade students at SMPN 34 Pekanbaru. The instrument is considered valid, practical, and effective in measuring students' writing abilities and can serve as a valuable guide for educators to enhance student writing instruction.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to identify and analyze the various forms of imagery used in the work and how these images influence the reading experience and understanding of the storyline. The author's interest in this novel stems from the authors' ability to depict the story with simple yet captivating language. The use of imagery in this work is a key factor in creating the atmosphere and understanding the characters and events in the story. The results of the analysis show that the imagery in this novel includes the portrayal of character behavior, character experiences, character conditions, the story's atmosphere, and the events that unfold within the narrative. Various forms of imagery, such as visual imagery, auditory imagery, movement imagery, tactile imagery, and olfactory imagery, are used to create a profound and captivating reading experience. Visual imagery helps describe the characters and the story's settings, while auditory imagery aids in comprehending the plot. Movement imagery depicts how characters move, while tactile and olfactory imagery explore the characters' sensory experiences. This research provides valuable insights into how authors utilize imagery to create a compelling reading experience and blend various elements in the story.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to describe and analyze interference at the phonological and morphological levels in the dialogues of the movie "Rudy Habibie," directed by Hanung Bramantyo. The method employed in this study is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Research data were obtained from the transcription of dialogues in the film "Rudy Habibie" and were analyzed using linguistic analysis techniques to identify phonological and morphological interferences that occur. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the movie "Rudy Habibie" contains interference at the phonological and morphological levels. This study provides a deeper understanding of language usage in the context of films and emphasizes the importance of adhering to language rules to ensure accuracy and authenticity in the use of language in literary works like films. Efforts to improve and develop more appropriate language usage in films can be a focus in enhancing the quality of films as cultural and communication media.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted because of the lack of expressive utterances used by consumers who often appear in the review column on the Tiktok application. The rating from this dare shop is usually far above, but it is possible that there are still many buyers who are not satisfied with the products offered. The reason for the buyer's dissatisfaction can be problems with the delivery of goods, the choice of type and the carelessness of the seller. This type of research includes quantitative analysis with analytical descriptive methods. The research used is buyer expressive speech acts data, which includes phrases, sentences, and words included in the TikTok review column for cosmetics stores. The source of the data in this sum is the cosmetics store TikTok @jennskin.naturals with screenshots. In this study, the data collection techniques used were reading and note-taking. There are three forms of expression found in the results of this study, namely thanking, apologizing and regretting. This explains the buyer's consideration for showing affection to the seller regarding the product purchased.]]>

<![CDATA[Learning to read comprehension is considered very important. This is due to the fact that learning to read does not only play a role in improving children's language skills, but more than that, namely in improving students' abilities in studying other subjects. However, in fact, reading learning is still carried out for purely practical purposes, namely that students can answer questions based on the content of the reading text. The low effective reading ability of students at school is an illustration of the failure of reading learning carried out at school. This failure was caused by the various topics discussed in reading not being accompanied by reading strategies that could be used to approach the discourse. Therefore, there is a need to implement an authentic HOTS-based assessment model as a strengthening of reading comprehension learning. Authentic assessment guides learning through the creation of various learning activities carried out by students during learning process. HOTS-based authentic assessment provides a real picture of students' ability to read and provides a measure of achievement.]]>

<![CDATA[The analysis of language errors at the level of phonology is to identify and understand errors that occur in the production or recognition of language sounds. Through phonological analysis, these errors can be analyzed systematically to identify the underlying patterns and rules. The problem in this study is how are the language errors of phoneme change at the phonological level in Prabowo Subianto's speech on the Kompas TV YouTube channel? The approach in this research is a qualitative approach with the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data taken in this study are words that are pronounced or spoken that are not in accordance with the rules of language, especially at the level of phonology. The data collection techniques used in this research are: documentation techniques, listening techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive technique using the theory of Miles and Hubermen (1984). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are 68 language error data. 1) There are 27 phoneme changes error data, 2) There are 29 phoneme omission errors, 3) There are 12 phoneme addition errors. Of the 12 error data, the writer only found consonant phoneme addition errors. Besides, the writer did not find any error data of vowel phoneme addition, vowel series formation and consonant cluster formation from single consonant phoneme.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by literary works, which are a part of art that provides insights into human life. This study falls within the scope of psychoanalytic analysis, closely related to the personality of the characters in the novel. The aim of this research is to understand, analyze, and interpret the development of the characters' personalities in the novel "Harapan di Atas Sajadah" by Mawar Malka. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The hermeneutic technique is used for data collection, and the data analysis involves grouping, analyzing, interpreting, and drawing conclusions. The theoretical framework for this study is Mana Sikana's theory (2005). The primary data source is Mawar Malka's novel "Harapan di Atas Sajadah," consisting of 542 pages. The research findings include a total of 44 data points. The symbolic stage of character personality development comprises 29 data points, involving characters such as Pras, Adara, Devika, Andi, Nenek Karsimah, Haniyah, Haryu, and Rivan. The real stage of character personality development includes 15 data points, focusing on characters like Pras, Adara, and Haryu.]]>

<![CDATA[The expression abstinence is a prohibition that will befall someone if they do it. The words used in tabang hara are usually related to frightening things, such as in the form of disease, disaster and the supernatural. The problems in this research are 1) What is the meaning of the connotation contained in the expression abstinence and prohibition in the people of Sungai Nibung Village, Siak Kecil District, Bengkalis Regency?, 2) What is the diction contained in the expression abstinence and prohibition in the people of Sungai Nibung Village, Siak Kecil District, Bengkalis Regency? This research aims to find out the meaning of a person's expression which is conveyed indirectly by giving advice using connotation meaning and word choice. The method the author uses is a descriptive ethnographic method. The theories used in this research are the theories of Nurgiyantoro (2013), Chaer (2012), Keraf (1948), and Tarigan (2019). Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that there are 5 data regarding the expressions of abstinence and prohibition in Sungai Nibung Village, Siak Kecil District, Bengkalis Regency related to the connotative meaning aspect and 8 data regarding the diction aspect.]]>
