(57.9%). The analysis shows that the risk factors for the behavior of healthy students are knowledge (PR=7.012; 95% CI: 2.836-17.338) and teacher/ustadz support (PR=3.668; 95% CI: 1.526-8.815. Based on the research results it is hoped that Islamic boarding schools can take action prevention in the form of periodic health checks for students and pesantren employees to detect various diseases early and increase the role of the teacher/ustadz as role models for students so that they not only direct but also set a good example, especially regarding the practice of healthy behavior.

Abstract

Perineal rupture is a cause of postpartum bleeding within the first 24 hours. Hemorrhage is the primary cause of maternal mortality in Indonesia; birth canal trauma is the second leading cause of bleeding after uterine atony. The higher the mother's parity, the more reproductive functions tend to decline. The purpose of this research is to understand the characteristics of multiparous delivering mothers with perineal rupture. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection is derived from secondary sources obtained from medical records in the Delivery Room of the Sorong Regency General Hospital. The study was conducted in June 2023. The sample comprises all multiparous delivering mothers who experienced perineal rupture and met the inclusion criteria in the Delivery Room of the Sorong Regency General Hospital, totaling 242 delivering mothers from January to December 2022. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. Univariate analysis is employed to calculate the frequency distribution, including the age of the mothers, education, occupation, perineal rupture, and newborn baby's weight. The majority of multiparous delivering mothers are between 20-35 years old, totaling 195 individuals (80.6%). The respondents' educational level is predominantly high school (SMA), totaling 124 individuals (51.2%). Non-working mothers account for 166 individuals (68.6%). The most frequent occurrence of perineal rupture is categorized as Level 1, totaling 81 individuals (33.5%). Newborns with the largest birth weight fall into the Normal category (2500-4000 grams), totaling 210 individuals (86.8%). Perineal rupture is one of the factors contributing to postpartum hemorrhage, which can lead to maternal death if not properly managed.

Abstract

The suboptimal handling and care of newborns are among the factors contributing to perinatal mortality. One of the reasons for the suboptimal handling and care of newborns is the lack of knowledge among mothers about newborn care, especially among primiparous mothers who lack direct experience in caring for newborns. This situation leads to maternal anxiety during the first week of the baby's life. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between knowledge and anxiety among primiparous postpartum mothers in the care of newborns at the North Buton Regional General Hospital. The research design used is analytical, employing a Cross-Sectional study approach with a sample size of 30 postpartum mothers. Data collected include both primary and secondary sources, and the data analysis involves the chi-square statistical test. The research results indicate a correlation between maternal knowledge and anxiety among primiparous postpartum mothers in the care of newborns, with a p-value of 0.003 < α = 0.000. Consequently, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. In other words, there is an influence of knowledge on the anxiety levels of first-time postpartum mothers in the care of newborns at the North Buton Regional General Hospital.

Abstract

Background: Everything without proper planning is susceptible to disturbances that will affect it. This holds true for families as well. Without thorough planning, a family cannot stand firmly. A formed family will lack resilience and the ability to withstand disruptions in the course of life. Social dynamics can render a family unstable, leading to a higher divorce rate that signifies family breakdown. Research Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, relationship status, and relationship behavior among prospective healthcare professional students at STIKes RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Research Methodology: This research employs a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design. Snowball sampling technique is used to gather samples from students of midwifery and nursing programs at STIKes RSPAD Gatot Soebroto, resulting in a sample size of 283 respondents. Data analysis involves univariate and bivariate analysis, and the statistical test used is the Chi-square test. Research Findings: The study confirms that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and family planning with a p-value of 0.000. Similarly, a significant relationship is observed between attitudes and family planning with a p-value of 0.000. The study also establishes a significant association between relationship status and family planning with a p-value of 0.000, as well as a significant connection between relationship behavior and family planning with a p-value of 0.000. Conclusion: This research concludes that there is a correlation between knowledge, attitudes, relationship status, and relationship behavior with family planning among prospective healthcare professional students at STIKes RSPAD Gatot Soebroto.

Abstract

Stunting conditions due to chronic malnutrition and nutritional deficiencies that caused the child to fail to grow according to his age, Stunting prevalence is 21.6% of the number of newborns in Indonesia, and the number of stunting sufferers is increasing due to several factors, one of which is the economy, so that families ignore the nutritional needs of the newborn. The method used in this study is simple random sampling. The number of samples used as respondents was 112 households. There are several factors that influence stunting: the mother's knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding, sanitation of the environment, antenatal care, and visits of health officials based on statistical tests. There is a significant relationship where the p-value value is 0.015 = 0.07; this proves to be a relationship for every factor causing stunting. The conclusion and recommendation of increased stunting incidence are indicators of inequality in health care, so it is expected that health workers should improve nutritional status.

Abstract

The problem of the increasing incidence of chronic diseases in Indonesia has encouraged the development of the Chronic Disease Management Program. However, in Jambi City, the implementation of various Prolanis initiatives has not been optimal, and community participation in the program is still low. The aim of this research is to describe the public's assessment of Prolanis using the theoretical framework of acceptability. This research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. 180 respondents were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis uses computerized descriptive statistical analysis. The research results showed that only 50.6% of respondents received Prolanis. The variable with the highest frequency is cost (97.8%). Meanwhile, the variable with the lowest frequency is burden (51.7%). As a recommendation, it is suggested to the government and BPJS Health to increase public understanding of the importance of using Prolanis in an effort to reduce the number of chronic diseases in Jambi City
