Abstract

The Transgender women community in Indonesia is considered an underprivileged community due to the social and systemic exclusion they experience daily. This condition is worsened due to COVID-19. Due to the pandemic, many transgender women cannot do their job to finance their daily needs to Mass Mobility Restrictions. They also do not have access to vaccines and clinical treatment because most do not have an ID card or social security numbers. To tackle the escalated problem, the transgender women community in Jogjakarta, Indonesia, through Waria Crisis Center (WCC) initiates philanthropic activity to help transmen who suffer health or financial crises. UAJY community service team tries to support WCC in two areas. First, we help WCC to develop its social media presence by helping them setting WCC Instagram dan Facebook official accounts. Second, we help WCC to establish good organizational practice by helping WCC to establish formal job descriptions and report flow.

Abstract

The 81st period KKN was held with the theme Society 5.0 where Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University students did not carry out work program activities directly in the field. The author is a member of KKN from group 31 who was given the responsibility to develop skills and expand knowledge in Gunungkidul district, Semin sub-district. The potential found by the author for Semin Village is in several fields. Some of them are tourism potential, agricultural potential, and artistic potential. The author also finds that Semin Village has very good bamboo potential to be developed. Therefore, the author supports the use of bamboo as a craft and tourism potential in the Semin area, Gunungkidul. By utilizing weaving techniques such as single weaving techniques, two-by-two weaving techniques, three and four braid weaving techniques, lotus weaving techniques, and clove weaving techniques, the selling value of bamboo crafts in Semin Village can increase. With good training, this weaving technique can develop the potential of bamboo that has developed in Semin Village even better.

Abstract

Gumulan village, one of 14 villages in Caturharjo Village, has the highest population density, which launched a movement of 14 vegetable villages in the form of a nutrition garden. This community service activity aimed to assist the Gumulan Village in reviving a nutrition garden that was abandoned due to the pandemic through an integrated nutrition garden design service with a green architecture approach. The added facilities based on the results of the identification of the village’s problems and potency are intended to optimize the land use, empower communities and natural resources (bamboo), and develop local arts, which lead to improving the health and welfare of the population without destroying the environment. With the concept of green architecture, an integrated nutrition garden design can be realized as a space for gardening, exercising, playing, culinary tours, and performances that suit the environmental context.

Abstract

Desa Wisata Tinalah (Dewi Tinalah) terletak di wilayah Desa Purwoharjo merupakan kawasan yang memiliki beragam potensi seperti wisata alam, kebudayaan, maupun kuliner tradisional. Pandemi COVID-19 membawa dampak bagi produksi UMKM di Dewi Tinalah. Selain itu, pengelola UMKM masih kesulitan untuk melakukan pemasaran, branding, serta belum adanya alat untuk membantu manajemen penjualan produk. Tim Abdimas melakukan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) bersama penduduk untuk mengidentifikasi place brand identity yang diintegrasikan dengan teknologi Point of Sales dipilih sebagai langkah alternatif inovasi untuk menjawab permasalahan yang ada. Kegiatan ini bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan nilai jual produk UMKM dan sistem pembayaran cashless di Desa Wisata Tinalah. Kegiatan abdimas dengan melibatkan partisipasi pengelola desa wisata dan UMKM secara aktif diharapkan mampu meningkatkan wawasan dan inovasi kreatif untuk pengembangan Desa Wisata Tinalah.

Abstract

Kapanewon Pleret is one of the areas with an element of tourism, considering its location and state, primarily hills; besides that, there are many other potentials, including hilly nature tourism and the Suharto monument. The arrangement of the Segoroyoso Tourism Area is carried out with the stages and methods of preparation, including the preparation of an activity plan; Collecting data, both primary data and secondary data, through field observations, measuring the site, documentation, and interviews; Study of literature on the concept of site design, natural tourism areas, spatial regulations in Bantul Regency; Qualitative descriptive data analysis; and the concept and design of the Master Plan. The design of supporting facilities involves the role of residents as active managers of the Pangul hill area and the Suharto monument. The community's commitment is very good with the efforts that have been made in the form of providing supporting facilities independently. Citizens' awareness and response to this tourism potential will benefit from increasing welfare through community involvement in managing this tourism potential. The Segoroyoso tourist area is expected to develop as an attractive and sustainable natural tourism destination.

Abstract

Desa Girirejo merupakan salah satu desa yang berada pada kecamatan Imogiri, Kabupaten Bantul, DIY. Dengan metode pengabdian potensi yang ada pada desa ini adalah kebudayaan dalam pembuatan keris. Dengan potensi desa yang ada, Penulis berinisiatif dalam membantu dan menjadikan Desa Girirejo menjadi Desa Wisata. Para penulis membuat Iuran berupa video interaktif dan e-book yang menjelaskan dan mengedukasi masyarakat Desa Girirejo. Keris adalah salah satu warisan budaya Indonesia yang perlu dilestarikan, di zaman ini keris memiliki manfaat dan fungsi sebagai simbol ikatan keluarga, tanda jasa, status sosial, aksesoris bahkan sebagai senjata yang memiliki nilai tersendiri. oleh sebab itu, pengabdian yang dilakukan para penulis diharapkan dapat bermanfaat dan menjadi inovasi baru untuk desa dalam pengembangan inovasi Desa Girirejo.  Kata Kunci- Desa Girirejo, Desa Wisata, Budidaya Keris

Abstract

The 80th period of KKN program was held with the theme Society 5.0 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The activity was attended by Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University students as an obligation. Participants were divided into groups of students that came from different faculties. KKN would be held from October 1st to December 4th, 2021 virtually. The authors were members of group 101 who were given the responsibility to expand their knowledge and skills through the experiences in Demangrejo Village, Sentolo District, Kulon Progo Regency. Demangrejo village itself have had potential in agricultural land, rice fields in the north which stretched along 1.68 km. Good irrigation in rice fields came from the Progo River and wells around the village. Therefore, most of the villagers were farmers. Because of those reasons, village welfare improvement could be achieved by developing existing agricultural land into mina padi. Mina Padi is a combination of rice cultivation and fish cultivation. These two aspects would support each other in terms of production. The water quality of the rice fields would improve and the fish seeds would get their food source from the bran, milled rice husk. When it's time to harvest, the results will be more profitable for the village because it is a combination from 2 types of cultivation in the same period. Beside improving the economic aspect of the village, Mina Padi was also expected to play a role in improving Demangrejo Village's tourism.

Abstract

Bangunjiwo Village, Kapanewon Kasihan, Bantul Regency has a very famous area as a center for pottery, namely in the Kasongan area. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact due to a decrease in the number of tourists. To assist the recovery and development of village potential, this community service program aims to develop the potential of tourism villages. This program is carried out using secondary data to find the potential that exists in Bangunjiwo Village that can be developed. Based on these data, it is then learned what needs to be developed in Bangunjiwo Village. The development of tourism village potential is carried out by rearranging places that might be used as tourist village centers by redesigning tourist areas with interesting concepts such as information rooms, rest areas, restaurants, and workshop spaces. This work program is expected to be able to attract tourists so that it can advance Bangunjiwo Village and of course requires parties from village officials, villagers, and the regional tourism office.

Abstract

Jurnal ini membahas mengenai pengembangan potensi desa yang ada di Desa Tirtosari, serta membahas cara pembuatan pupuk organik dari kulit bawang merah. Desa Tirtosari menghasilkan produk pertanian di mana yang terbesar yakni hasil bawang merah dan cabai. Data yang dikutip dari laporan Kapanewon Kretek Dalam Angka Tahun 2020, tercatat pada tahun 2019 petani di Desa Tirtosari mampu menghasilkan sebanyak 962 kw bawang merah. Sektor pertanian merupakan sektor yang menjanjikan bagi Desa Tirtosari. Pengembangan potensi desa berfokus pada pemberian penyuluhan terkait bidang pertanian. Hasil tani yang berkualitas salah satunya tergantung pada penggunaan pupuknya. Penggunaan pupuk organik dari kulit bawang merah menjadi peluang yang dapat dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil pertanian. Hasil dari kegiatan pengadian ini yaitu memberikan informasi mengenai cara pembuatan pupuk organik dari kulit bawang merah serta pemasarannya. Kemudian, ditemukan juga beberapa potensi lainnya pada Desa Tirtosari yang meliputi sektor pariwisata, industri olahan makanan, dan industri peternakan.

Abstract

Desa Mulyodadi memiliki potensi tanaman khas yaitu tanaman Gayam. Tanaman Gayam dijumpai di sepanjang tepi aliran sungai dan di kebun di wilayah desa Mulyodadi. Buah Gayam sebagai tanaman khas desa Mulyodadi dinilai dapat dikembangkan menjadi produk olahan makanan dalam bentuk keripik buah Gayam. Bentuk program pengembangan ini berupa pengembangan dari produk khas desa yaitu buah Gayam. Olahan keripik Gayam dinilai lebih praktis dan efisien dalam bentuk olahan makanan ringan. Meninjau dengan dampak akibat dari pembatasan aktivitas masyarakat guna mengurangi penyebaran virus Corona mayoritas masyarakat mengalami dampak pengurangan pendapatan hingga kehilangan pekerjaan. Maka melalui produk keripik buah Gayam ini, bertujuan dalam mengembangkan potensi desa Mulyodadi dalam menciptakan peluang usaha baru yang dapat dilakukan  dalam masa pandemi COVID-19, sehingga dapat menunjang kesejahteraan masyarakat desa Mulyodadi.  Pengembangan dengan produk buah Gayam melalui olahan keripik berpotensi mengembangkan keunggulan produk khas desa yaitu buah Gayam. Dalam 1 produk keripik buah gayam dengan berat 200 gram dapat menghasilkan harga sekitar Rp.15.000,- hingga Rp. 25.000,-
