Abstract

This study focuses on the problem of PJKR Students at Unismuh of Luwuk Banggai when participating in a badminton championship. Their average performance shows that they rarely gave dropshots during the match. In fact, they almost never did this because of the lack of training given that they are doubtful to shoot. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of footwork training on dropshots during badminton matchesq for PJKR Unismuh Luwuk students and the research method used for this study was one pretest-posttest group. Based on the results of the data analysis of the drop shot skills in badminton game with a different test (paired t-test) between the initial test and the final test in the experimental group of footwork exercises, the t-count = 12.310 (α 0.05 > sig = 0.000) with the mean score of the initial test was 30.75 and the final test result was 38.83. Thus, there is an increase of 8.08 point. This one indicates a significant effect of footwork training on drop shot skills in badminton. The results of the data analysis of the accuracy of the drop shot in the badminton game with a different test (paired t-test) between the initial test and the final test in the control group obtained t count = 1.567 (67 0.05 < sig = 0.145) while in the control group shows the score at 0.17 and the final test result is 30.92, thus there is an increase of 0.75. Thus, it can be stated that the experimental group has footwork exercises and has a significant effect on improving drop shot skills in badminton games for PJKR Unismuh Luwuk Banggai students.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that children's vocabulary skills are still difficult to speak. This study aims to determine the increase in vocabulary skills through role playing activities in group A children at Al-Amin Kindergarten, Palopo City. The type of research used is classroom action research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results showed that role playing activities can improve children's vocabulary skills. The improvement can be seen in the research results. In the initial condition, there were five children (50%) in the BB category, three children (30%) in the MB category, two children (20%) in the BSH category. After taking action in cycle I the results in children's vocabulary skills through role playing activities have increased, namely there is one child (10%) in the BB category, there are two children (20%) in the MB category, five children (50%) in the BSH category and two children (20%) in the BSB category. In the second cycle, there were no children in the BB and MB categories, seven children (70%) in the BSH category and three children (30%) in the BSB category. This research was stopped until the second cycle because the criteria for success indicators had been achieved.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how to use scrabble game in improving early childhood reading ability in group B of TK Nurul Taqwa Gowa. This study aims to determine the description of the early reading ability of children before and after the application of scrabble games and to determine the effect of scrabble games in improving early childhood reading abilities. Type of research is an experimental study with pre-experimental designs using the one group pretest-posttest design consisting of pretest, treatment, and posttest. Subjects were 15 children in group B1. The results showed that the average score in the pretest was 8.93 and at the posttest the average value was 19. Then it was also supported by the results of calculations using the wilcoxon signed rank test. In the SPSS program, the Asymp sig (2-tailed) value was obtained. of 0.001 here the probability is below 0.05 or p <0.05, which means that H0 is rejected. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using scrabble game in improving reading ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out what factors caused speech delays in group B children at Pembina Sentani Kindergarten, Jayapura Regency. This research is a case study research with the research subject found 5 children, consisting of 4 boys and 1 girl. Methods of data collection using interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that the delay in speaking in group B children in TK Negeri Pembina Sentani Jayapura Regency is caused by a lack of stimulation from parents because they are busy in gardening and selling in the market; the use of regional languages that tend to be dominant; the main residential environment of one region and ethnicity; and a lack of understanding from parents about the importance of speaking in everyday life, especially in supporting children's education in the present and in the future

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the description of students' learning self-efficacy in doing assignments before and after the implementation of narrative counseling at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkep (2) The application of narrative counseling can increase students' self-efficacy in doing assignments at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkep. This study used an experimental approach with Pretest-posttest control Group Designs for 24 research samples, which were VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkep with a classification of 12 experimental groups and 12 control groups, and simple random sampling. This study uses data collection techniques through questionnaires, and observation. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis of non parametric Wilcoxon signed ranks test. The results of this study indicate (1) At the time of the pretest, the level of self-efficacy of students in the experimental and control groups was in the low category. However, after being given the treatment of narrative counseling techniques showed a change from a low level of learning self-efficacy to a high category in the experimental group, while for students who were not treated with narrative counseling did not show significant changes or remained in the low category. (2) The application of narrative counseling can increase student learning self-efficacy in doing assignments at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkep

Abstract

This study aims to determine how to increase the learning ability of children in the B3 group Raudhatul Athfal Addariyah DDI Palopo City. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research, with two cycles, namely the first cycle consisting of 3 meetings and the second cycle consisting of 3 meetings. The subjects of this study were the children of Group B1 Raudhatul Athfal Addariyah DDI Palopo for the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 24 children, consisting of 9 boys and 15 girls. The problem-solving method used is to apply the teaching and learning process by using flip charts to improve children's cognitive learning abilities obtained from observation interviews and documentation. The data of this study were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The success of this study is determined by the child getting a score. The results of this study indicate an increase in children's learning outcomes. The average score in the initial or pre-action conditions is 32% of all indicators and does not meet the good category. Cycle I with an average observation score of 62% of all indicators and has not met the good category. Cycle II with an average score of 92% overall from all indicators and reached good category. Thus, classroom action research (CAR) is said to be successful, so the research recommends learning using flip charts to improve the cognitive learning abilities of children in group B1 Raudhatul Athfal Addariyah DDI Palopo

Abstract

Improving writing ability through directed writing activity strategy of the tenth-year students. This research is to find out whether or not the Directed Writing Activity strategy able to improve the writing ability. The writer applied quasi-experimental method, with two group control and experimental class. The result of the data analysis on mean score of pre-tests was 60.23 and the mean score of post-tests was 83.97. After analyzing the data by using the test formula, the result of t-test value was 6.23 and t-table value was 1.671. It means that the t-test value was greater than t-table value (1.671). This indicated that h1 was accepted and h0 was rejected. It shows that directed writing activity strategy able to improve the students’ writing ability and there is significant difference of the students’ writing ability before and after giving treatment through directed writing activity strategy.

Abstract

The most important education in human life is moral education. In every human action, moral education is a benchmark in human daily life. The purpose of this research is to reveal Moral Education in the novel Trilogy Negeri 5 Menara (Adopsi Film by Ahmad Fuadi) published by PT. Gramedia Pustaka 2010. And the focus here is the concept of moral education contained in the novel Negeri 5 Menara. The research method used is a qualitative research method where the research procedure produces descriptive data in the form of written words and not numbers which are usually arranged into expanded text. The object of this research is a literary work in the type of novel, so this research is included in the type of manuscript research, this research relies on library research. The results of the study indicate that there is a concept of moral education in Ahmad Fuadi's novel, including: Morals to God, morality to humans consisting of morals to family, self and others.

Abstract

Expressive Speech Acts (Case Study of Class XI Students of Public High School 2 Soppeng), Problems in communication and language skills. This study aims to describe the form of expressive speech acts in students of class XI MIPA 2. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the speech of students of class XI MIPA 2 Public High School 2 Soppeng. The data is obtained through screenshot documentation and then recorded and reviewed. The results of this study conclude that the forms of expressive speech acts are (1) speech acts of congratulating 6 times (17.64%), (2) speech acts of praising as much as 8 times (23.52%), (3) speech acts of gratitude 5 times (14.70%), (4) condolences 3 times (8.82%), (5) blaming speech acts 6 times (17.64%), and (6) apologizing as much as 6 times (17.64%).

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of early childhood scientific attitudes through science games in group B children of Tunas Dansari Dosay Kindergarten, Kamoung Dosay. The method used is a classroom action research method, using a research model from Kemmis and Taggart. The focus of the research is on the process of learning science in scientific attitude skills using science games by group B teachers at Tunas Dansari Dosay Kindergarten, Kampung Dosay. The instruments used in this research are Observation, Documentation and Field Notes. The data analysis technique used in this research is numerical and description. The results of the research showed that the children's ability to use science games increased from cycle I, action I to action 3 and continued in cycle II, action I to action 3, the scientific attitude ability of children in group B in Tunas Dansari Dosay Kindergarten, Kampung Dosay, increased. This is evidenced by an increase from the percentage before the action to after the action is carried out, namely before the action is 34.8%, there is an increase in the first cycle, it is proven that the initial condition of scientific ability is 34.8%, through cycle 1 action 1 to action 8 increased to 51.5%, in the second cycle of action 1 to action 8, the child's ability increased to 63.5%, in the second cycle of action 2, so as to achieve the minimum completeness criteria
