Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the concept of correlational research. Correlational research is a type of study aimed at identifying the relationship between two or more variables and measuring the strength and direction of that relationship. It is a quantitative research method designed to identify relationships between variables without altering or manipulating them. In correlational research, researchers focus on measuring the degree of relationship or association between existing variables. This research does not attempt to establish causation but rather examines whether significant correlations exist between the variables studied. The method used in this research involves a literature review, where the researcher examines related literature and relevant sources. The findings conclude that an appropriate research design can utilize either a cross-sectional design (collecting data at a single point in time) or a longitudinal design (collecting data at multiple points in time). Reliable and valid instruments, such as questionnaires, surveys, or secondary data, are employed to measure the variables. The collected data are quantitative and are analyzed statistically. Statistical analysis techniques, such as Pearson or Spearman correlation coefficients, can be used to measure the strength and direction of the relationship between variables. Correlational research is highly useful in providing insights into relationships between variables and can serve as a foundation for further studies.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how to improve the cognitive abilities of Group B children through busybook play activities at RQ Insan Madani. The aim of the research is to enhance the cognitive abilities of Group B children at RQ Insan Madani by using busybook media. The subjects of the research are Group B children at RQ Insan Madani who still face challenges in cognitive development aspects. The research method is Classroom Action Research. The classroom action research model that will be used in this study is the Kurt Lewin model. The data collection techniques include direct observation conducted by the researcher, interviews, task assignments, and document analysis. There are three data analysis techniques: the researcher performs data reduction, then presents the data, and finally concludes the data. Based on the research results from the pre-cycle and cycle 1, it can be concluded that through busy book play activities, the cognitive abilities of group B children at RQ Insan Madani can be improved. This is seen from the change in condition when the initial state before the action (pre-cycle) is different from the state after the action in cycle 1.

Abstract

The fundamental mathematical concepts acquired at the elementary level include the calculation of the greatest common divisor (GCD) and the least common multiple (LCM). It is undeniable that students encounter challenges when attempting to solve and determine the value of GCD and LCM. A prevalent pedagogical practice observed in the classroom is the exclusive reliance on methods derived from textbooks. Accordingly, this research is designed to provide educators with additional resources for implementing alternative methods in teaching the material related to GCD and LCM, with a particular focus on facilitating calculations involving large numbers. This study used the research and development method. The data used were the results of expert judgment from mathematics experts. The product produced from this research is the Euclid algorithm book on the calculation of GCD and LCM, for elementary school teachers. This book received a good response from the experts with an average assessment value of 4.43 or classified as very good so it is suitable for use as a reference for teachers.

Abstract

Manajemen kepala sekolah memegang peran strategis dalam menciptakan iklim sekolah yang mendukung pembentukan budaya religius. Budaya religius bukanlah hasil kebetulan, melainkan terbentuk melalui kepemimpinan yang visioner, perencanaan yang matang, serta pembiasaan yang konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara kuantitatif sejauh mana pengaruh manajemen kepala sekolah terhadap budaya religius di sekolah, khususnya pada lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini berbasis Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Responden terdiri dari 40 guru yang aktif di TK Negeri Pembina Tembelang, yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket tertutup skala Likert yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap budaya religius sekolah dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,598. Artinya, 59,8% variasi dalam budaya religius di sekolah dipengaruhi oleh bagaimana kepala sekolah mengelola, memimpin, dan menginspirasi warganya. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang baik bukan hanya berdampak pada aspek administratif, tetapi juga sangat menentukan arah dan nuansa religius dalam kehidupan sekolah sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, penguatan kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah menjadi bagian penting dalam membangun budaya religius yang kuat dan berkelanjutan di lingkungan pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Inclusive education policies have been widely adopted globally, yet significant gaps persist between policy intentions and implementation realities. This study scrutinizes the effectiveness of inclusive education policy through community perception, examining stakeholder attitudes, experiences, and barriers to successful implementation. A mixed-methods convergent parallel design was employed, combining qualitative phenomenological interviews and focus group discussions with key stakeholders (n=65) and a quantitative cross-sectional survey of community members (n=750). Participants included educators, parents, policy makers, community leaders, and students across urban and rural settings. Qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis, while quantitative data employed descriptive and inferential statistics including ANOVA and regression analysis. Findings reveal significant variations in community perceptions based on stakeholder roles, geographic location, and previous exposure to inclusive education. Key barriers identified include inadequate teacher training, insufficient resources, cultural stigma, and limited community awareness of inclusive education principles. However, positive attitudes emerged among stakeholders with direct inclusive education experience, highlighting the importance of exposure in shaping perceptions. The study demonstrates that policy effectiveness is critically dependent on community understanding, acceptance, and active participation in implementation processes. Results provide valuable insights for policy makers to develop community-responsive inclusive education strategies and targeted interventions to enhance stakeholder engagement and support.

Abstract

The modern era of pluralism demands Islamic religious education to face complex challenges in building tolerant attitudes toward diversity. This research aims to analyze the revitalization of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) materials to foster students' tolerant attitudes toward religious, cultural, and social plurality. The research method employs a qualitative approach with case studies in three senior high schools with multicultural students. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with IRE teachers and students, and curriculum document analysis. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman model with source triangulation. The research results show that revitalization of IRE materials through integration of Islamic pluralism values, interfaith dialogue, and contextual approaches can improve students' understanding of religious tolerance by 78%. The revitalized materials include the concepts of rahmatan lil alamiin, ukhuwah insaniyah, and local wisdom from an Islamic perspective. Implementation of learning based on dialogical discussions and diversity case studies proved effective in developing empathy and respect for differences. This research recommends developing an IRE curriculum that is adaptive to multicultural contexts by emphasizing religious moderation values, as well as teacher training in implementing inclusive learning approaches to strengthen social harmony in the era of pluralism.
