Abstract

This study discusses the difficulty of reading beginning in grade I at SDN No.31 Tumampua V in Pangkajene and Islands districts with a total of 18 students but 13 students experiencing difficulty reading at the beginning. Pre-reading ability is a basic ability at the basic education level and elementary school is an educational unit that provides basic abilities. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Data collection using tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using non-statistical analysis. The results of this study showed that the highest difficulty aspect of students in pre-reading was the difficulty in reading meaningless words with a score of 16%. Difficulty reading at the beginning of the next is in the aspect of fluency in reading aloud and reading comprehension with a score of 27%. Another difficulty experienced by students was the difficulty in reading words, which was 33%. Then the difficulty in recognizing letters with a score of 51%. The last aspect of reading difficulty was listening or listening comprehension, which was 79%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the existence of differences in the ability to write short stories between learning to write short stories using the media of event images and learning to write short stories that do not use media of event images in Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau (2) knowing the effectiveness of media use picture of events in improving the ability to write short stories in class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. The approach in this research is quantitative research, a type of quasi experimental or quasi-experimental research. The research location is in SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. The object of this research is the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau as many as two classes, One experimental class and one randomly selected control class. The study population was Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. The samples in this study were class VIII A and VIII B of SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. The instruments used were test and non-test instruments. Data analysis techniques using pretest and posttest data, normality test, data homogeneity test, hypothesis testing. The effectiveness of the event image media can be seen from the results of inferential statistical analysis using t-test, t distribution table with a significant level α = 0.05 and d = N1 + N2 - 2 = 56, then obtained t0.05 = 1.672. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) adanya perbedaan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek antara pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek yang menggunakan media gambar peristiwa dengan pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek yang tidak menggunakan media gambar peristiwa pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau (2) mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan media gambar peristiwa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. Pendekatan dalam  Penelitian ini adalah  penelitian kuantitatif, jenis penelitian eksperimen kuasi (quasi experimental). Lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. Objek penelitian  adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau sebanyak dua kelas, Satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol yang dipilih secara acak. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII A dan VIII B  SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrument tes dan non tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data pretest dan posttest, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas data, uji hipotesis. Keefektifan media gambar peristiwa dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis statistik inferensial menggunakan uji-t, tabel distribusi t dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan d = N1 + N2 - 2 = 56, maka diperoleh t0,05=1,672. Setelah diperoleh tHitung 13,65 dan tTabel 1,672 maka diperoleh tHitung > tTabel.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the intent and meaning of a speech act in the marriage proposal procession in Soppeng district. This study is a qualitative type of data source in this study in the form of recordings of conversational application processions from marriage in Soppeng district and will be analyzed into speech acts in general. The data collection technique used is the recording and note-taking technique, by listening repeatedly to the results of a recording of the conversations of the two parties in the marriage proposal procession. The results in this study confirmed that, there were 24 different speech acts which were classified as locutionary, illocutionary, perlocutionary speech acts which were analyzed by the researcher. The results showed that 11 were classified as locutionary speech acts, 6 were classified as illocutionary speech acts, and 7 were classified as perlocutionary speech acts.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create study materials of fictional prose based on local wisdom of Makassar integrated mobile learning that is feasible or valid, readability, practical and effective for the students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar.This research type is research and development or Research and Development (R D) by using model of ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation).  Data collection techniques include test techniques, questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques and descriptive statistics. In this research, it is found that the appropriate or valid teaching material is evaluated from the teaching material element (4.32) or with the category very feasible, the presentation element (4.07) or with the decent category, the element of kegrafikan (4,33) or with the category very feasible, linguistic element (4.19) or by a viable category, and the last element of media or technology (4.19) with a decent category. The average of one-to-one subject assessment subjects totaling six students is (3.75) or with the appropriate category, the average of the feasibility of the main field trial subjects (4.38) with very feasible category, and the average assessment of the feasibility of the field trial operational is 4.38 with very decent category. Teaching materials have a good level of legibility with a mean percentage of (81.45%) greater than the independence independence standard (60%). The result of the assessment of teaching materials implementation proves that the average of evaluation of 1st class implementation learning program is (4.25) or with very decent category, implementation class 2 is (4.40) or with very decent category, and implementation class 3 is 4.60 ) or in a very decent category. Furthermore, the use of teaching materials in learning shows excellent results. The teaching materials are implemented maximally where the average implementation class 1 is (4.20) or in very practical category, the implementation class 2 is (4.60) or in the very practical category, and the implementation class 3 is (4.50) or with category very practical.Teaching materials are worth using because they are effective towards improving student learning outcomes. The test results prove that there is an increase in students' learning mastery. The result of the initial skill test is only (22%) of the students who is declared thoroughly while the final skill test result is (76%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Self Control technique to the problem of students' Social Media addiction before and after being given treatment. This research is a quantitative approach with Pre-Experimental design with experimental design used is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, consisting of 18 people as the experimental sample who are class XII students in SMA 3 Pangkep 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection using scale addiction instrument gadgets and observation guidelines. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric analysis, namely the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results of the research obtained are: 1) An overview of the implementation of Self Control techniques in Pangkep 3 High School. 2) The level of ability to reduce social media addiction of students in Pangkep 3 High School before being treated in the form of the application of Self Control techniques is in the high category and after being given treatment in the form of Self Control techniques are in the low category. 3) there is a positive effect of Self Control techniques to improve the ability to reduce student addiction to social media in SMA Negeri 3 Pangkep.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Perbandingan Model DLTA Berbantuan Media Audio Visual dan Model DLTA Tanpa Berbantuan Media Audio Visual Berbasis Cerita Budaya Lokal Terhadap Kemampuan Menyimak dan Bercerita Siswa Kelas IV SD Gugus II Kecamatan Tamalate. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan bentuk desain penelitian ini pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV-SD dari lima Sekolah Dasar Negeri yang terdapat dalam gugus II kecamatan Tamalate. Sampel yang diambil adalah siswa kelas IV-A dan IV-SD Inpres Mallengkeri Bertingkat 1.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji  manova menyatakan nilai sig. (2-tailed) yaitu 0,000 < 0,05. Oleh karena itu, Ho ditolak dan H₁ diterima serta ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat  disimpulkan bahwa Model DLTA Berbantuan Media Audio Visual dan Model DLTA Tanpa Berbantuan Media Audio Visual Berbasis Cerita Budaya Lokal memiliki perbandingan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menyimak dan bercerita.

Abstract

Berdasarkan masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu tentang perubahan interpretasi makna dalam iklan youtube, maka bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Bentuk penelitian ini mampu mendeskripsikan secara teliti dan mendalam fakta-fakta yang diteliti, dalam hal ini bentuk perubahan makna iklan.Dengan kata lain, penelititan deskritif kualitatif bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara nyata fakta-fakta yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perubahan Interpretasi makna dalam iklan youtube bersifat Ilokusi dan perlokusi karena iklan yang disajikan tidak hanya berfungsi untuk menginformasikan sesuatu namun juga untuk melakukan sesuatu. Interpretasi makna juga melahirkan efek bagi masyarakat penonton memiliki pengaruh besar pada masyarakat dan kebudayaan, didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa iklan memiliki pengaruh pada perilaku individu, bahkan kesenjangan sosial. Iklan juga membuat seseorang menjadi materialistis, egois, dan gaya hidup yang konsumtif

Abstract

Penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis wacana Van Dijk mencakup struktur mikro yang menggunakan sumber data berupa berita online yang dikutip dari situs Liputan6.com. Strategi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini analisis isi. Analisis menekankan pada ragam bahasa yang digunakan oleh kaum jurnalistik khususnya pada situs berita online liputan6.com. Metode ini dilakukan dengan mencatat dan mengamati sejumlah data headline padasitusberita online liputan6.com. Dalam kajian wacana mikro, pada situs berita online liputan6.com memiliki makna implist dan makna eksplisit. Makna eksplisit dalam situs berita online liputan6.com menyampaikan informasi secara gamblang, tegas, terus terang, tidak berbelit-belit (sehingga orang dapat menangkap maksudnya dengan mudah dan tidak mempunyai gambaran yang kabur atau salah mengenai berita tersbut); tersurat. Dan implisit dalam situs berita online liputan6.com memuat berita yang bermakna universal yang disembunyikan oleh bahasa. Sedangkan Koherensi dalam penyajian berita online liputan6.com umumnya menggunakan koheresi kausalitas, koherensi kondisi, koheresi kontras, koherensi konklusi, koherensi tempo, dan koherensi intensitas. Semakin menarik kata yang ditawarkan dalam sebuah berita semakin menarik perhatian pembaca. Peneliti menemukan beberapa kata yang ditawarkan kaum jurnalistik pada situs berita online liputan6.com yakni cetak sawah, geng, musuh tradisional, pertarungan, misi mustahil, menggigit, permalukan, pil pahit, cekak. Dimensi retoris yang digunakan kaum jurnalis pada situs berita online liputan6.com menggunakan sebuah kata yang bernilai rasa positif, nilai rasa negatif, dan nilai rasa netral. Berita yang menarik merupakan nilai jual pewarta untuk meraih koin dan poin dalam dunia jurnalistik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat dalam podcast Deddy Corbuzier dan Nadiem Makarim di media sosial YouTube. Permasalahan yang dikajipun adalah apa saja bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat dalam podcast Deddy Corbuzier dan Nadiem Makarim di media sosial YouTube. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, karena bersifat deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah transkrip tuturan berupa kalimat atau paragraf yang menunjukkan adanya tindak tutur ilokusi dalam video podcast Deddy Corbuzier dan Nadiem Makariem di media sosial YouTube. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dialog percakapan dalam podcast show Deddy Corbuzier dan Nadiem Makarim di media sosial youtube yang berdurasi 47 menit 56 detik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik menyimak dan teknik mencatat. Setelah mengumpulkan data, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian terdapat empat bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat pada podcast Deddy Corbuzier. Pertama, tindak tutur ilokusi representatif dimaksudkan untuk menyatakan sesuatu oleh penutur kepada mitra tutur, tindak tutur direktif digunakan untuk mempengaruhi mitra tutur agar melakukan tindakan, tindak tutur ekspresif digunakan untuk mengevaluasi mitra tutur, dan tindak tutur komisif dimaksudkan untuk menerima apa. telah dikatakan. Kedua, mengenai tindak tutur ilokusi, menurut Searle, dalam podcast Deddy Corbuzier, tindak tutur ilokusi yang sering muncul adalah tindak tutur ilokusi representatif, tindak tutur ilokusi direktif, tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif, dan tindak tutur ilokusi komisif. Ketiga, tindak tutur ilokusi representatif, bentuk tuturan yang sering muncul antara lain 1) menyatakan, 2) menggambarkan, 3) menunjukkan dan 4) mengatakan. Dalam penggunaan tindak tutur ilokusi direktif, bentuk tuturan yang sering muncul meliputi permintaan. Dalam penggunaan tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif, bentuk tuturan yang sering muncul antara lain ungkapan 1) kekecewaan, 2) ketidaksenangan, dan 3) penyesalan. Dalam penggunaan tindak tutur ilokusi komisif, bentuk tuturan yang sering muncul antara lain 1) penawaran.

Abstract

The problem of this research is about the low ability to understand German reading texts. It aims to find out the results of increasing the ability to understand German reading texts with scanning reading techniques at SMA Negeri 10 Makassar. This research is classified into classroom action research. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, documentation analysis, and the reflection stage. The results showed that the scanning reading technique could improve the ability to understand German reading texts for class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 10 Makassar. In the first cycle, it was found that 32 (80%) students had reading speed using scanning reading techniques with low qualifications, while 8 (20%) students had moderate reading skills. At the level of understanding in the medium category are as many as 31 (77.5%) students and the level of understanding in the high category are as many as 9 (22.5%) students. In the second cycle, it was found that all students, as many as 40 (100%) students were declared successful in reading with the scanning reading technique with moderate qualifications. Meanwhile, the level of understanding in the very high category was 6 (15%) students and those with the high category were 34 (85%) students and none of the students had a very low level of understanding. This means that the level of understanding German texts with the scanning reading technique of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 10 students in cycle II is declared successful
