Abstract

Merdeka Curriculum, an educational initiative introduced by Nadiem Makarim, Indonesia's Minister of Education and Culture, has several differences with Ki Hadjar Dewantara's educational concept. In its implementation, the Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes student freedom in determining the course of learning, promotes creativity, and encourages project-based learning. However, this may conflict with Ki Hadjar Dewantara's concept, which prioritizes the role of the teacher as a facilitator in directing student development. This research aims to understand the factors that cause this phenomenon by using Ki Hadjar Dewantara's perspective as an analytical tool. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method through several stages including library data collection, recording, reviewing data sources, and processing information. The results show that Ki Hadjar Dewantara's concept of education also emphasizes student-centered learning by respecting their individuality and a holistic approach to education. Unfortunately, in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, the focus on respecting students' individuality and developing moral, emotional, and physical aspects may not be a priority. In addition, other important aspects such as education for students' daily lives may also not get enough attention in the Merdeka Curriculum. The link between learning in the curriculum and students' real lives may become less clear.

Abstract

The prosecutor's authority does not only focus on prosecution but also includes the civil and state administrative fields, where the prosecutor acts as a State Attorney (JPN). The method used is empirical juridical, which involves direct research in the field related to the duties and functions of the Cirebon City District Attorney's Office in handling land disputes, especially in Case Number: 27/Pdt.G/2023/PN.Cbn. This research aims to reveal the existence of JPNs and their efforts in providing legal assistance as defendants representing government agencies in court. The results show that JPNs play an important role in representing government agencies, especially in the recovery of state assets related to land disputes. The implication of this research is the strengthening of the role of JPNs in legal disputes, which can strengthen efforts to protect state assets by government agencies in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of augmented reality-based marketing on consumer purchase intention, with hedonic motivation acting as mediation. In the context of L'Oreal Paris cosmetic products sold on the Shopee platform. This study uses a sample of 110 respondents with 11 indicators to fill out a questionnaire to raise the relevance of augmented reality technology in enhancing a more immersive online shopping experience, namely the merging of the real and digital worlds and the personal world, which can significantly affect consumer purchase intentions. Through the use of the Virtual Try-On AR feature in Shopee, consumers can see the application of cosmetic products virtually on their faces, which not only enhances product information but also provides a fun and satisfying shopping experience. Data was collected from Shopee users in Denpasar, Bali, who have used this augmented reality feature and analyzed using a quantitative approach. The results showed that hedonic motivation plays an important role in mediating the relationship between augmented reality marketing and purchase intention, signifying that emotional satisfaction from the augmented reality experience increases the likelihood of purchase. This research provides valuable insights for digital marketing and e-commerce practitioners to optimize augmented reality strategies in increasing consumer purchase intention. By understanding the effects of augmented reality marketing through hedonic motivation, brands can more effectively design user experiences that are not only informative but also entertaining and emotionally satisfying, thereby increasing consumer purchase intentions.

Abstract

Fiduciary Guarantee is an accessory agreement that follows the principal agreement it guarantees. If the principal agreement ends, the Fiduciary Guarantee agreement also ends. However, the recording of the encumbrance and granting of the Fiduciary Guarantee contained in the Fiduciary Guarantee Register Book at the Fiduciary Registration Office can be crossed out or deleted (roya) if requested by the Fiduciary Beneficiary (Article 25 paragraph (3) of Law No. 42/1999 on Fiduciary Guarantee). Legal protection is provided in the event of full repayment or repayment of the debt secured by the Fiduciary Guarantee Object. Based on Article 25 paragraph (1) of Law No. 42/1999, this is one of the reasons for fiduciary abolition. The Fiduciary is obliged to notify the abolition of the Fiduciary Guarantee to the Fiduciary Registration Office so that the Fiduciary Guarantee can be removed from the Fiduciary Guarantee Register Book. The nature of the Fiduciary Guarantee depends on the existence of the receivables whose repayment is guaranteed. If the receivables are written off due to debt repayment or disposal, the related Fiduciary Guarantee is automatically deleted. If the Creditor does not perform the deletion, the Debtor may take legal action, either through litigation or non-litigation. An obstacle to legal protection for the Fiduciary is if the Fiduciary does not complete the Fiduciary Guarantee Certificate online. Law No. 42/1999 and its implementing regulation, PP No. 21/2015, do not include sanctions for the Fiduciary or its representative if the Fiduciary Guarantee Certificate is not done. This results in no legal certainty over the object of the Fiduciary Guarantee if the Fiduciary does not perform it, because the object used as collateral remains registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the Fiduciary Guarantee Certificate is still considered valid and cannot be re-registered in accordance with Article 17 paragraph (2) of Government Regulation No. 21 of 2015.

Abstract

This research utilizes a literature review methodology to examine the legal ramifications of technological advancements on law enforcement practices in the digital era. The burgeoning digital landscape has witnessed a surge in technological developments, such as big data analysis, artificial intelligence, and digital forensics, which have fundamentally reshaped law enforcement operations. This study delves into the positive and negative legal implications of these technologies within the justice system. The findings of this research, gleaned from the reviewed literature, suggest that the application of technology in law enforcement can enhance the efficiency of investigations, facilitate evidence analysis, and improve detainee monitoring. However, there are concomitant legal concerns surrounding privacy and data security that necessitate careful consideration. Furthermore, unequal access to technology and data poses a potential threat to the very concept of equal justice under the law. This research is intended to equip stakeholders in law enforcement and public policy with a comprehensive understanding of the legal ramifications associated with technological innovation. By elucidating these issues, this study also lays the groundwork for future researchers to delve deeper into these complexities through more rigorous empirical research endeavors.
