Abstract

The objective of research was to find out (1) the impact of On-the-Job Training to the work readiness in the 12th grade of Office Administration Skill Program in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta in the school year of 2016/2017, (2) the impact of Self-Efficacy to the work readiness in the 12th grade of Office Administration Skill Program in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta in the school year of 2016/2017, and (3) the impact of On-the-Job Training and Self Efficacy to the work readiness in the 12th grade of Office Administration Skill Program in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta in the school year of 2016/2017. This study employed a descriptive quantitative research method with the population consisting of 89 students and the sampling technique used with simple random sampling with 47 students being the sample. Techniques of collecting data used were: questionnaire and document. Data analysis in this research was carried out using a multiple linear regression analysis technique, with the result of linear regression equation Ŷ= 18.149 + 0.355X1 + 0.309X2. Considering the result of research, the following conclusions could be drawn. (1) There was a significant impact of On-the-Job Training to the work readiness in the 12th grade of Office Administration Skill Program in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta in the school year of 2016/2017 with the tstatistic value > ttable­ or 3.111 > 2.021; (2) There was a significant impact of Self Efficacy to the work readiness in the 12th grade of Office Administration Skill Program in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta in the school year of 2016/2017 with the tstatistic value > ttable­ or 2.107 > 2.021; (3) There was a significant impact of On-the-Job Training and Self Efficacy to the work readiness in the 12th grade of Office Administration Skill Program in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta in the school year of 2016/2017 with the Fstatistic value > Ftable­ or 9.442 > 4.08.

Abstract

This research aims to identify: 1) The influence of Peer Group to Correspondence Achievement Students Of X Office Administration Class At SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo Academic Year 2016/2017, 2) The influence of Teacher Competence to Correspondence Achievement Students Of X Office Administration Class At SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo Academic Year 2016/2017, 3) The influence of Teacher Competence and Peer Group to Correspondence Achievement Students Of X Office Administration Class At SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo Academic Year 2016/2017. This research was an ex-post facto with quantitative approach. Research result: 1) Have a positive influence and significant of Teacher Competence to Correspondence Achievement by = 0,441; = = 0,185; tcount 4,449; ttable 1, 99 with significantly of 5%. 2) Have a positive influence and significant of Peer Group to Correspondence Achievement by = 0,425; = 0,171; tcount 4,300; ttable 1, 99 with significantly of 5%. 3) Have a positive influence and significant of teacher competence and Peer Group to Correspondence Achievement by = 0,486; = 0,218; Fcount 12,849; Ftable 3,11, with significantly of 5%.

Abstract

The objective of research was to find out: (1) the impact of organizational activity on the work readiness of Students in Office Administration Education Study Program year 2013 of Sebelas Maret University; (2) ) the impact of learning achievement  on the work readiness of Students in Office Administration Education Study Program year 2013 of Sebelas Maret University; and (3) ) the impact of  both organizational activity and learning achievement on the work readiness of Students in Office Administration Education Study Program year 2013 of Sebelas Maret University. This reseacrh employed a quantitative research and the sampling system used census sampling, the population of which was all student of Office Administration Education Study Program year 2013 of Sebelas Maret University, consisting 50 student. Techniques of collecting data used were questionnaire and documentation. The data was analyzed using a multiple linear regression analysis techniques with analysis prerequisite test includind normality, linearity, amd multicolinearity tests. The results of research were as follows: (1) there was a significant impact of organizational activity on the work readiness of Students in Office Administration Education Study Program year 2013 of Sebelas Maret University;(2) there was a significant impact of learning achievement  on the work readiness of Students in Office Administration Education Study Program year 2013 of Sebelas Maret University;and (3) there was a significant impact of  both organizational activity and learning achievement on the work readiness of Students in Office Administration Education Study Program year 2013 of Sebelas Maret University.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out: 1) Whether or not there is an effect of wage on work productivity in the workers of PT. Kusumatex, 2) Whether or not there is an effect of work motivation on work productivity in the workers of PT. Kusumatex, and 3) Whether or not there is an effect of wage and work motivation on work productivity in the workers of PT. Kusumatex.This study was a quantitative research with a multiple linear regression model use to test the hypothesis proposed. The population of research was the workers in production division of PT. Kusumatex with 125 respondents being the sample. The sampling technique used was random sampling. Considering the result of research, it could be found the coefficient regression Ῠ = 48.627 + 0.355X1 + 0.207X2. From the result of hypothesis testing, it could be found rstatistic > rtable (0.657 > 0.176) so that the first hypothesis stating that “There is a positive relationship between wage and work productivity in PT. Kusumatex” was supported. From the result of hypothesis testing, it could also be found rstatistic > rtable (0.477 > 0.176), so that the second hypothesis stating that “There is a positive relationship between work motivation and work productivity in PT. Kusumatex” was supported. From the result of F test, it could be seen Wage and Work Motivation variables simultaneously affected the Work Productivity in PT. Kusumatex with Fstatistic value = 63.054 and a= 0.000.

Abstract

The objective of research was to find out: 1) the work motivation affect on the teacher performance; 2) the work environment affect on the teacher performance; 3) the work motivation and work environment collaboratively affect the teacher performance. The location of this research was in SMK Pancasila 6 Jatisrono, Kecamatan Jatisrono, Kabupaten Wonogiri. This research employed a quantitative research method and it was a population or total sample research, the population of which consisting 52 teachers.Collecting of  data used were questionnaire and documentation. The data was analyzed using a multiple linier regression analysis technique with prerequisite test including normality, linierity, and multicolinierity tests.The result of the research: 1) there is a significant positive effect of work motivation toward teacher performance based on the value of rcalculation>rtable which is0,634>0,274 at significant level 5%; 2) there is a significant positive effect of work environment toward teacher’s performance based on the value of rcalculation>rtable which is 0,647>0,274 at significant level 5%; 3) there is a significant positive collaboratively effect of work motivation and work environment toward teacher performance based on the value of rcalculation>rtable which is 28,899>3,17 at significant level 5%. The large of the work motivation contribution toward teacher performance is 55%.

Abstract

The aims of the research are (1) To identify the realization of performance guidance toward civil servant in Department of Education Surakarta (2) To identify some problems happened during the realization of performance guidance toward civil servant in Department of Education Surakarta (3) To identify some efforts to overcome problems happened during the realization of performance guidance toward civil servant in Department of Education Surakarta. This research used qualitative research method. The kind of the research being used was case study research. The sources of data in this research were gained from informants, location of the event, and documents. The techniques of collecting data were gained by conducting interview, observation, and documentation. The data validity being used was triangulation method. Meanwhile, the data was analyzed by interactive analysis technique, where the data reduction, the data display, and the conclusion drawing were being related each other. The results of the research were (1) The realization of performance guidance toward civil servant in Department of Education Surakarta was based on the legal sources of law, either from the central or regional government has the same policy. The performance guidance toward civil servant was conducted through some programs which based on the guidance range, including giving general orientation, providing some facilities for the staffs, conducting some activities to fulfill both physical and spiritual needs, giving instruction for some work techniques, giving guidance on staffs’ abilities, giving guidance on civil servants discipline, and giving guidance through staff mutation. (2) There were some problems happened during the realization of performance guidance toward civil servant in Department of Education Surakarta, they were; the limitation of budget, the staff’s low response toward the follow-up guidance, and the reluctance feeling in guiding senior staffs. (3) Some efforts that had been attempted to overcome some problems on the realization of performance guidance toward civil servant in Department of Education Surakarta, were; proposing budget and training participants, conducting strict supervision, and using both oral warning and written media.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know the implementation of automation systemadministration, in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of work in the incomeof the Department of Trade on Surakarta. The Object of this study are employeesthe Department of Trade on Surakarta. In this study uses research actionresponsive or responsive action research. In the collection of data research actionis a kind of research that can use the quantitative, qualitative or acombination analysis. In this study uses data analysis of a sort of descriptive setof comparative or doing a comparison. From the results of research can beconcluded that there is increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of work byapplying automation system administration on employees of income, theDepartment of Trade on Surakarta. This is reflected from a number of indicatorsnamely, quality of work, work productivity, adaptability, job satisfaction, theeconomic and procedures. In addition, there is an increase in completion time ofregistration of 80 %, in the first cycle took 150 minutes and in the second cycletakes only 30 minutes. The procedure also recorded an increase of 37, 5 % wherethe first cycle need eight steps, in trim the second cycle to 5. The error did happenand, in the first cycle there’s five error items , and in second cycle there’s twoerror items It showed an increase in precision of employees, where there is amistake as much as 3 error items or an increase in the precision of 60 %, so it canbe said that the work performed by staff more effective and efficient.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) explain how the preparation of students in the Education Studies Program Administration Office of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University Surakarta to face the world of work, (2) find out how the readiness of students in Education Studies Program Administration Office of Teaching and Training Faculty Science Education Sebelas Maret University Surakarta to face the world of work, (3) find out what obstacles and solutions made by students in the Education Studies Program Administration Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University Sebelas Maret Surakarta in preparing for the world of work.This type of research is qualitative research. The respondents of this research are students, lecturers, and head of study program that exist in Education Study Program of Administration of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University with sampling technique using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The result of the research shows that (1) the preparation done by the Education Administration Education Students in facing the world of work is to follow the lecture well, study the information technology, learn the English language, active in the activity outside the lecture, follow the seminar and internship DU/DI, Prodi: develop appropriate curriculum, academic interaction between lecturers and students, introduction of work world, complete learning facilities and infrastructure, establish cooperation with various agencies; (2) the majority of students of Education Administration Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University are ready to face the world of work; (3) there are some obstacles faced by the students: lack of confidence, lack of awareness to participate in organizational activities or SMEs, lack of potential development, lack of support from nearby environment such as family and friends, hesitations to work in the field of teacher or non teacher.
