Abstract

Digital transformation is revolutionizing urban mobility, particularly in how people use para transit services. These services cater to users who require specialized transportation due to disabilities, medical conditions, or agerelated limitations. Understanding the behavior of para transit users is crucial in optimizing these services to meet their unique needs. Utilizing digital technologies in urban mobility has opened up a world of possibilities for para transit users. From on-demand booking apps to real-time tracking and integrated payment systems, digital transformation has made it easier than ever for users to access and use these services. This has not only improved the convenience and efficiency of para transit but has also enhanced the overall user experience. One of the key aspects of digital transformation in urban mobility is the collection and analysis of data on para transit users' behavior. By tracking users' preferences, habits, and challenges, transportation providers can identify areas for improvement and tailor their services to better meet the needs of their customers. This datadriven approach allows for more personalized and responsive service delivery, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for para transit users. By understanding and addressing the behavior of these users, transportation providers can create more efficient, responsive, and inclusive systems that prioritize the needs and preferences of all individuals. Digital technologies hold immense potential for improving the overall quality and accessibility of para transit services, ultimately enhancing the mobility and independence of users in urban environments.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of the principle of Integrated Pest Control (PHT) on the efficiency of rice farming in North Anjatan Village, Indramayu Regency. PHT is an approach to managing Plant Pest Organisms (OPT) by considering technical, economic, ecological, and social aspects. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with data collection through questionnaires to 96 rice farmers. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the influence of the variables of Healthy Plant Cultivation (X1), Natural Enemy Utilization (X2), Routine Observation (X3), and Pest Risk Management (X4) on the Efficiency of Rice Farming (Y). The results showed that the Utilization of Natural Enemies and Pest Risk Management had a significant effect on the efficiency of farming, while Healthy Plant Cultivation and Routine Observation did not have a significant influence. Simultaneously, these four variables affect the efficiency of farming with an F value of 22.409 and a significance of 0.000. The determination coefficient (R²) of 49.6% shows that the independent variable explains almost half of the variation in rice farming efficiency. In conclusion, the application of PHT through the use of natural enemies and pest risk management is effective in improving the efficiency of farming. It is recommended that farmers focus more on this aspect, while the government and academics can provide further training to optimize the implementation of PHT.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has brought significant transformation to the global healthcare system, including in Indonesia. This study aims to systematically examine the implementation and impact of AI on the performance of medical personnel in Indonesia through a systematic literature review approach. The research method follows the PRISMA protocol by analyzing scientific publications from 2019 to 2024 obtained from the Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Indonesian Medical Journal databases. The results indicate that the application of AI has contributed positively to improving diagnostic accuracy (87.5%), healthcare service efficiency (82.3%), and clinical decision-making quality (85.2%). Nevertheless, this study also highlights significant challenges in the implementation of AI, such as limited digital infrastructure (65.4%), inadequate competence among health human resources (58.7%), concerns over data privacy and security, and the lack of comprehensive regulatory frameworks (52.3%), all of which hinder optimal integration. This study provides a scientific foundation for policymakers to develop regulations that support AI adaptation in healthcare while safeguarding ethical standards and patient safety. Additionally, the research offers practical insights for future studies to focus on overcoming technical, educational, and legal barriers, ensuring that AI integration advances equitable and sustainable healthcare services in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of career, work environment, and organizational culture on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction, especially in freight transport companies in Jakarta. In a competitive environment, understanding these factors is critical to improving employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires. The sample consisted of 132 respondents who worked in freight transportation companies and had a minimum of five years of work experience. Data were analyzed using Smart-PLS 3.0 to test the relationship model between variables. The results of the analysis show that organizational culture has no significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Career has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, but has no direct effect on performance. The work environment is proven to have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee performance. This finding suggests that although the company has experienced an increase in profits, attention to career development and organizational culture still needs to be improved. A good work environment and high job satisfaction can drive better performance. This study concludes that to improve employee performance in freight transportation companies, it is important to focus on improving the work environment and job satisfaction. Although career has a positive effect on job satisfaction, greater attention needs to be paid to developing a supportive organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality, online reviews, and ease of use on purchase intention on online travel agents (OTAs), with brand trust as a mediating variable. The focus of this research is on Traveloka as the main subject. Quantitative methods are used in this research, with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 150 respondents who are active OTA users. The data was processed using SmartPLS 3 for statistical analysis. The results showed that service quality has a significant positive effect on purchase intention, both directly and indirectly through brand trust. Ease of use has a positive impact on brand trust, but has no direct effect on purchase intention. Online reviews showed no significant effect on purchase intention or brand trust. This finding confirms that brand trust plays an important role in consumer decision-making when booking accommodation online. Service quality is a key factor that must be considered by OTA service providers to increase customer loyalty. This study confirms that service quality and ease of use have a positive effect on brand trust, which in turn increases purchase intention. In contrast, online reviews did not contribute significantly to the model. Recommendations for OTA providers are to improve service quality and user experience to build customer trust, while future research is recommended to explore other factors that might influence purchase intention in the context of OTAs.

Abstract

Law enforcement in Indonesia involves an important role for the Indonesian National Police (POLRI), including in the process of confiscating evidence. However, there are questions regarding the authority of investigators to seize evidence without court approval. This research aims to analyze the authority of POLRI investigators in confiscating evidence without court approval and the responsibility of investigators for confiscated evidence. The research method used is normative research by relying on primary legal materials in the form of laws and regulations, as well as secondary legal materials in the form of related literature. The analysis is done descriptively, systematically, and argumentatively to provide a comprehensive understanding of this issue. The results show that investigators have the authority to confiscate evidence in a caught red-handed situation without having to obtain permission from the court. This is regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) which provides a legal basis for investigators to take such action. However, the responsibility of investigators in the storage, maintenance and return of evidence to the rightful parties remains an important aspect that needs to be considered. This research concludes that the authority of investigators to seize evidence without court approval can be exercised under certain conditions. However, the investigator's responsibility in managing evidence is crucial to ensure the validity of the legal process. This research is expected to contribute to the development of criminal procedure law in Indonesia, as well as increase understanding of the roles and responsibilities of POLRI in the law enforcement process.

Abstract

This study employs Dell Hymes ethnography of communication framework to analyse Edo proverbs in Ola Rotimi’s seminal play, OvoranwenNogbaisi (1961), a critically acclaimed work that explores the complexities of Edo culture, colonialism, and identity. Set in the precolonial Edo Kingdom, the play navigates themes of cultural resilience, power struggles and social change. Through a qualitative analysis guided by the SPEAKING model, this research reveals the pivotal role of Edo proverbs in conveying cultural values, subverting colonial narratives and shaping community norms. By examining the intersection of language, culture and power, this study contributes original insight into the functional dynamics of Edo proverbs as a communicative resource. It also contributes to the plays significance as a cultural artifact and tool for social commentary. It also contributes to the extension of Hymes framework on sociolinguistics contexts. This research fills a critical gap in sociolinguistics scholarship, offering a nuanced understanding of Edo cultural expression and its relevance to contemporary debates on identity, culture and language.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology and the global shift in work patterns have fostered the rise of remote work, a trend increasingly prevalent among the millennial generation in Indonesia. This transformation not only affects economic aspects and productivity but also brings significant consequences to the construction and transformation of workers’ social identities. This study aims to explore how the experience of remote work influences the social identity construction of millennials, including changes in social relationships, self-perception, and attachment to work communities. Using a phenomenological approach, the research involved in-depth interviews with ten participants aged 25 to 40 who have been working remotely for at least two years. The findings reveal that remote work initiates a complex process of identity renegotiation, in which millennials experience a shift in the meaning of workspace, the boundaries between personal and professional time, and the emergence of new, flexible, and digital forms of social connection. A dominant pattern of hybrid identity—combining the roles of “professional worker” and “free individual”—emerges, subtly influencing how individuals position themselves within the broader social structure. These findings highlight the importance of understanding identity dynamics in digital work contexts to formulate more inclusive and adaptive employment policies in response to ongoing social change.

Abstract

Urban transformation in Jakarta has accelerated rapidly over the past decade, driven by large-scale infrastructure development and increasing investment in real estate. While these changes have modernized the cityscape, they have also sparked complex social conflicts, particularly in areas undergoing gentrification. This study investigates the dynamics of social conflict arising in urban communities affected by gentrification in Jakarta. The objective is to analyze how spatial displacement, socioeconomic inequality, and contested urban identities contribute to tensions between long-term residents, new urban elites, and state or private developers. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research draws on in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis conducted in selected gentrifying neighborhoods such as Kampung Bayam and Jatinegara. The findings reveal that gentrification is not merely a physical transformation but a process marked by unequal power relations, loss of communal identity, and grassroots resistance. Social conflicts are triggered by opaque urban planning policies, forced evictions, and the erosion of traditional livelihoods. This study contributes to the growing discourse on urban justice and provides critical insights into how gentrification processes in the Global South manifest unique patterns of conflict and resilience. The research highlights the need for inclusive urban governance that balances development with the rights of existing communities.
