Abstract

Corruption remains a major challenge in achieving good governance and integrity in healthcare services. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between knowledge of gratification and anti-corruption attitudes among students of the Faculty of Health Sciences. This study employed a quantitative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach involving 47 students selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires on knowledge of gratification and anti-corruption attitudes and were analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed that 68.2% of respondents had good knowledge of gratification, while 72.3% demonstrated positive anti-corruption attitudes. Spearman Rank analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between knowledge of gratification and anti-corruption attitudes (r = 0.487; p = 0.001). Higher levels of nursing students' knowledge of gratification were associated with more positive anti-corruption attitudes.

Abstract

Primary dysmenorrhea is menstrual pain that occurs in the absence of pathological disorders of the reproductive system. This condition is common among adolescent girls and may interfere with daily activities, particularly learning activities in Islamic boarding schools. Sliding cupping therapy is a non-pharmacological intervention that may help reduce the pain associated with primary dysmenorrhea. This study employed a quantitative method with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 26 female students selected using purposive sampling. Pain intensity was measured before and after the sliding cupping therapy using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results showed that before the intervention, 76.90% of the respondents experienced moderate pain, while after the intervention, 84.60% experienced mild pain. The statistical analysis showed a p-value of 0.00 (p < 0.05), indicating that sliding cupping therapy had a significant effect on reducing the pain intensity of primary dysmenorrhea among female students.

Abstract

Based on the 2024 Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI), the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia was 19.8%, while in Tegal Regency it reached 22.3% in 2022. This study aimed to examine the relationship between the history of complementary feeding (MP-ASI), maternal educational level, and stunting. This quantitative correlational study with a cross-sectional design involved 54 mothers and children aged 24–36 months selected using total sampling. Data were collected through height-for-age (HAZ) measurements based on the Z-score standard and a complementary feeding history questionnaire. Chi-square analysis showed significant associations between complementary feeding history and stunting (p = 0.001) and between maternal educational level and stunting (p = 0.040). Children of mothers with only elementary or junior high school education were at greater risk of stunting. In conclusion, both complementary feeding history and maternal educational level were significantly associated with stunting. Complementary feeding should be introduced at six months of age.
