Abstract

This study aims to formulate a theoretical model regarding the relevance and strategic role of educational philosophy in redefining the meaning of learning amidst the dominance of digital technology. The central issue is how educational philosophy can offer a robust conceptual framework for navigating rather than simply exploiting the digital ecosystem. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods, focusing on philosophical-conceptual analysis. The research findings show that technology triggers a shift in the meaning of learning from merely a one-way transfer of information to an active process of knowledge construction (constructivism), so that the role of teachers is transformed into critical facilitators. The relevance of the core of philosophy, including axiology, epistemology, and ontology, is becoming increasingly stronger. Epistemology serves as a bulwark against the “Digital Truth Crisis” by demanding critical literacy, while axiology provides a moral compass for issues of digital ethics. In its synthesis, the meaning of enriched learning is a metacognitive process that combines technical skills with moral maturity (wisdom). Educational philosophy plays a moral and intellectual role that ensures that technology remains within the corridor of the main goal of education: holistic human development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Islamic higher education through the perspective of the Methodology of Scientific Research Programmes developed by Imre Lakatos. This approach is employed to understand how the epistemological structure of Islamic education can be developed progressively without losing the revelatory values as its fundamental core. The study adopts a qualitative method with a library research design, in which data are collected from various literature sources such as books, journals, and relevant scholarly works. The findings indicate that the application of the concepts of hard core, protective belt, and a series of theories within Islamic higher education can serve as a methodological framework that maintains a balance between the Islamic intellectual tradition and modern scientific innovation. Through Lakatos’s approach, Islamic higher education is expected to develop research that is progressive, rational, and grounded in spiritual values, thereby enabling it to respond to the challenges of globalization and digitalization without losing its epistemological identity. Accordingly, Lakatos’s research programme methodology has the potential to become a new paradigm in the development of Islamic epistemology that is dynamic, adaptive, and sustainable.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the Islamic modernism thinking of Arabic teachers at MA Miftahul Ulum Al-Islamy Bangkalan, analyzing its implications for the design of a love-based curriculum. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenology. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The validity of the data is maintained through source triangulation, method triangulation, and member checking. The results of the study show that the Islamic modernism thinking of Arabic teachers is reflected in five main characters, namely rational orientation in understanding texts, integration of ICT in learning, acceptance of new methods without leaving the tradition of pesantren, contextualization of Arabic materials with modern life, and emphasis on developing students' communication skills. This thinking has implications for the design of a love-based curriculum in the form of strengthening learning philosophy, developing integrative and humanist teaching tools, and creating a warm, safe learning environment that supports students' academic and affective growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan kharismatik kiai dalam transformasi pesantren di era modern. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di Pesantren Nurus Salam Saba Tambak Palengaan, Pamekasan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kharismatik kiai berperan sebagai sumber legitimasi, penggerak perubahan, dan penjaga nilai-nilai tradisional pesantren. Kharisma kiai mampu membangun kepercayaan dan loyalitas santri sehingga mendukung keberhasilan transformasi, terutama dalam integrasi antara sistem pendidikan tradisional dan modern. Transformasi yang terjadi bersifat adaptif dan tidak menghilangkan identitas pesantren. Namun demikian, ditemukan adanya ketergantungan terhadap figur kiai dalam pengambilan keputusan yang menjadi tantangan dalam pengembangan manajemen yang lebih profesional. Maka dari itu, diperlukan korelasi kepemimpinan kharismatik dan sistem manajerial yang terstruktur agar transformasi pesantren dapat berlangsung secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Islam pada SD Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan yang diterapkan bersifat partisipatif dan kolaboratif, serta mampu membentuk budaya organisasi yang religius, disiplin, dan berorientasi pada nilai-nilai Islam. Budaya organisasi tersebut diinternalisasikan melalui pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan program unggulan sekolah. Integrasi antara kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terbukti berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang bersifat holistik, mencakup aspek akademik, spiritual, dan sosial. Selain itu, meningkatnya kepercayaan masyarakat menjadi indikator keberhasilan mutu lembaga. Dengan demikian, integrasi kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi merupakan faktor strategis dalam mewujudkan pendidikan Islam yang unggul dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan dalam lembaga pembelajaran pesantren mempunyai kedudukan berarti dalam membentuk kepribadian santri. Salah satu figur sentral dalam area pesantren merupakan ibu nyai yang mempunyai kedudukan strategis dalam pembinaan moral, spiritual, serta sosial santri, spesialnya santri gadis. Riset ini bertujuan buat menganalisis kedudukan kepemimpinan bunda nyai dalam membangun kepribadian santri di Pondok Pesantren Al-Azhar Azzayyadiyah Sampang. Tata cara riset yang digunakan merupakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan informasi lewat observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil riset menampilkan kalau kepemimpinan ibu nyai berfungsi berarti dalam pembuatan kepribadian santri lewat keteladanan, pembinaan spiritual, pengawasan ketertiban, dan pemberian motivasi serta nasihat. Tidak hanya itu, pendekatan yang bertabiat keibuan serta penuh kasih sayang sanggup menghasilkan area pembelajaran yang kondusif untuk pembuatan akhlak serta karakter santri. Dengan demikian, kepemimpinan ibu nyai jadi aspek berarti dalam membentuk santri yang berakhlak mulia, disiplin, serta bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perkembangan teknologi chatbot berbasis kecerdasan buatan telah mengubah lanskap pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) secara signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena silent classroom dalam pembelajaran PAI di era chatbot menganalisis faktor penyebab menurunnya keberanian siswa berinteraksi di kelas; dan menjelaskan implikasi fenomena tersebut terhadap interaksi sosial siswa dalam perspektif sosiologi pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di MTs Ma'arif Bangil dengan melibatkan 15 siswa, 4 guru PAI, dan 2 wakil kepala sekolah sebagai informan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fenomena silent classroom termanifestasi dalam tiga bentuk: keengganan bertanya, minimnya respons verbal terhadap stimulus guru, dan preferensi siswa mencari jawaban melalui chatbot secara individual. Faktor penyebab utama meliputi ketergantungan digital, kecemasan sosial yang meningkat, dan pergeseran pola komunikasi dari verbal ke tekstual. Dalam perspektif sosiologi pendidikan Islam, fenomena ini mengancam prinsip ta'aruf, tawashau bil haqq, dan ukhuwah yang menjadi fondasi interaksi edukatif Islami. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan model pembelajaran PAI integratif yang menyeimbangkan pemanfaatan teknologi dengan penguatan interaksi sosial berbasis nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of assessment in the Merdeka Curriculum and to describe its implementation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at formal educational institutions in Indonesia. The method employed is a literature review by critically examining relevant scientific sources published between 2022 and 2026. The findings reveal that the Merdeka Curriculum introduces a fundamental paradigm shift in educational assessment through three primary instruments namely diagnostic assessment, formative assessment, and summative assessment, which are holistic, continuous, and oriented toward comprehensive student competency development. In the context of PAI learning, this approach proves considerably more capable of capturing students' character development, spirituality, and internalization of Islamic values authentically compared to conventional systems that focused almost exclusively on the cognitive dimension. The study further reveals that implementation still faces real obstacles including limited teacher competence, high administrative burden, cultural resistance to change, and inadequate infrastructure in various regions. This study concludes that successful transformation of PAI assessment requires strong synergy among teachers, school management, and integrated educational policy at all levels in order to achieve meaningful and sustainable educational change.

Abstract

This article aims to understand the isbal contained in thehadiths of the Prophet and give birth to the phenomenon ofdress itself among the people. Thus, the focus is on how thehadiths of the Prophet provide information about isbal and itsmeaning. In addition, bangaimana responds to phenomenathat occur in the community. The description of this articleshows that Isbal is the behavior of lengthening clothingbeyond the ankles. The isbal controversy was born because ofthe existence of substantive contradictory hadiths of theProphet. The hadith that advocates and forbids gives birth todifferences in views and meanings of isbal itself. Therefore, the understanding of Isbal hadith must use the approach ofcontradictory hadiths which in Islamic treasures is referred toas the science of mukhtalif al-ḥadis. Sociologically-anthropologically, claim truth is a fundamental factor in thecontroversy over the practice of dressing with isbal. Keywords: Hadis about isbal

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the social environment on students’ religious behavior from the perspective of Islamic educational sociology. The social environment includes family, school, and community as the three main pillars in shaping students’ religious character. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a library research design, examining various scientific literature related to Islamic educational sociology and the development of religious behavior. The findings indicate that the social environment plays a significant role in shaping students’ attitudes, values, and religious practices. The family acts as the primary foundation for internalizing religious values, the school as a formal institution strengthens religious understanding and practices through curriculum and religious culture, while the community influences through social interactions and prevailing norms. From the perspective of Islamic educational sociology, religious behavior formation is not merely individual but is also a social construction influenced by the surrounding environment. Therefore, synergy among family, school, and community is essential to create a conducive social environment that enhances students’ religious behavior.
