Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of education problems in Indonesia. Indonesian students' learning motivation is ranked 63 out of 72 countries. This research was conducted at Sedati Islamic Junior High School. Researchers found students who lacked motivation to learn. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational approach. The independent variable is adversity quotient as and the dependent variable is learning motivation. The total population is 128 students, with a sample of 128 students taken using the Saturated Sample technique. Data collection techniques in this study used a psychological scale Likert scale model, namely the Adversity Quotient scale and the Learning Motivation scale. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a positive relationship between Adversity Quotient and the learning motivation of junior high school students. Data analysis was carried out using Spearman's Product Moment correlation technique using the SPSS 21.0 program. The results of the analysis of the correlation coefficient of 0.632 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. This means that there is a positive relationship between Adversity Quotient and student learning motivation. The effective contribution of the Adversity Quotient variable is 39.5% to student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain social prejudice between religious communities in Sidoarjo Regency. This research is based on a bombing case that occurred some time ago which was carried out by several individuals and occurred in the Sidoarjo area which is related to inter-religious communities. This research uses quantitative research. Data was collected by means of interviews, observations, and relevant studies. The data collection technique used is by using a questionnaire or questionnaire method. The results of this study indicate that partially or individually the social prejudice variable has a significant value on religious tolerance in Sidoarjo Regency of 0.843; the ethnicity variable has a significant value on religious tolerance in Sidoarjo Regency of 0.729; and the communication effectiveness variable has a significant value on religious tolerance in Sidoarjo Regency of 0.741 that the independent variables are rejected by the dependent variable. Then if it is reviewed simultaneously or together with the variables of social prejudice, ethnicity and the effectiveness of interpersonal communication on tolerance between religious communities in Sidoarjo Regency it is 3% while the remaining 97% is influenced by other variables outside the variables used in this study.

Abstract

Adolescents are a period of entering puberty, the puberty period experienced by them as the beginning of the emergence of inner turmoil that really needs a mental shelter that is able to provide a positive direction in the development of further life to direct teenagers to positive things. the attitude of youth, for example, youth participation in commemorating major holidays is a good opportunity to activate youth in Islamic activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the religious development of youth at Masjid Nurul Jannah Perum TAS III Kepuh Kemiri Village, Tulangan District. This research includes qualitative research. The subjects in this study were mosque takmir, community leaders, mosque youth. the types of data sources obtained are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques are by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis and interpretation techniques are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing or data verification. The results of this study have shown its effectiveness in the success of religious development. This can be proven by the existence of self-awareness in adolescents who are increasingly participating in congregational prayers and participating in other religious activities

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the Ummi Model and the ability to read the Qur'an of third graders at the SDIT Nurul Islam Krembung school. This study uses quantitative research using data collection instruments, in this study using primary and secondary data sources to determine the subjects from which the data was obtained, and using questionnaire data collection procedures with question and answer interviews to take notes on events. The sample used in this study were all 3rd grade students of SDIT Nurul Islam Krembung, amounting to 25 of which 13 or 52% of students scored well, 9 students or 36% had sufficient marks, 3 students or 12% with poor grades, this means reading ability in the good category is in the good category. in a score of 83-91. It can be concluded that the relationship between the ummi model has an effect on the ability to read the Qur'an of third graders at SDIT Nurul Islam Krembung.

Abstract

Concentration ability is the ability possessed by every child to focus and focus on doing or doing something. Based on research at the Roudhotul Anwar Sukodono Islamic Kindergarten, especially in the 4-5 year age group, 80% of children lack the ability to concentrate. Researchers have a good target of successful concentration power is 76%-100%, for that researchers use Rainbow Card media to improve children's concentration skills. has never been carried out before to improve the process of teaching and learning activities so that student learning outcomes increase. The class action uses 2 stages, namely pre-cycle and cycle I. In the pre-cycle activity, storytelling is applied and the results have not yet reached the target of success, with a total of 40.4%. In the first cycle activities implemented Rainbow Card activities and achieved the success target with a total of 80%. This shows that from the increase in the percentage of the average pre-cycle and cycle I, there has been a very good increase, so that this study can be judged to have met the specified success target, the results of the study in group A in Islamic Kindergarten Roudhotul Anwar were declared successful, this proves that the media Rainbow Card can improve the concentration ability of children aged 4-5 years at Islamic Kindergarten Roudhotul Anwar Sokodono.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions are considered to have more challenges than public schools. Besides the constraints of quality, relevance, elitism and management. Islamic educational institutions are actually trapped in decline, backwardness, powerlessness and poverty, as experienced by most of the Islamic countries and societies compared to non-Muslims. In Kembangsri Village, Ngoro District, Islamic educational institutions are less attractive to the surrounding community. They make Islamic educational institutions the last choice for their children if they are not accepted in public schools. So the purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the inhibiting factors and the efforts made in the development of Islamic educational institutions in Kembangsri Ngoro Village, Mojokerto. The type of research used is qualitative research. With the research subject, the Head of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Ngoro and the Head of MI Darul Arqom Kembangsri. Data collection techniques were carried out by (1) observation, (2) interviews, (3) documentation. The results of the study indicate that the inhibiting factors in the development of Islamic educational institutions in Kembangsri Village lie in the management of institutional human resources, the principal who is less assertive in leading and the lack of institutional finance. Efforts that can be made by the institution are to improve management for the better, such as participating in trainings for the teacher council, adding extracurriculars to attract new prospective students, establishing cooperation with institutions related to education. Abstract

This literature research aims to examine the application of Probing Prompting models to student’s critical thinking abilities in Social Sciences (IPS) subject in elementary schools. The Probing Prompting learning model is a learning that presents a series of questions that guide and explore student’s ideas so as to improve the thought process that is able to associate sudent’s knowledge and experience with new knowledge being learned. This model is applied to social science subjects. Social science is a science that examines various social and humanities disciplines as well as basic human activities. This research uses a method of literature study that describes some of the results of limited research, journals,books and asticles. The result of the literature study obtained are probing prompting model is able to influence both the learning results and the development of the mindset of students

Abstract

The educational process organized by Muhammadiyah schools has a large role in shaping the work ethic, which is of course by shaping the Islamic personality of the students. The main problems in this study are, (a) How is the formation of Islamic personality to improve the work ethic of students carried out at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Taman _ Sidoarjo, (b) how the contribution of the formation of Islamic Personality in improving the work ethic of students during the Field Work Practice at DU / DI organized by SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Taman Sidoarjo. The purpose of this study is to describe and understand: (a). Implementation of the formation of Islamic personality to improve the work ethic of students while carrying out Field Work Practices in DU / DI organized by SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Taman - Sidoarjo, (b). Contributions to the formation of Islamic personality in improving the work ethic of students in the implementation of Field Work Practices in DU / DI for SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Taman-Sidoarjo.This study uses a qualitative type with a phenomenological approach, the research subject is determined purposively, namely 164 grade XI students who are currently doing Job Training. Derived from the majors of Electric Power Installation Engineering, Machining Engineering, Light Vehicle Engineering, and Multi Media. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documents. Data that has been collected is analyzed through data reduction, display and drawing conclusions.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive research type, and the type of approach used is qualitative. In the book by Sukmadinata, it explains that "Descriptive research with a qualitative approach is a descriptive qualitative narrative of the situation". A qualitative approach is research which will then produce the results of analytical procedures that do not use statistical analysis studies. The main objective of the research is obtain data, therefore the main step that must be taken in a study is data collection. In Kejapanan village there are several day care centers for children among others, a day care center that is cared for by Mrs. Sriati and a day care center that is cared for by Ms. Safa'ah. In Mrs. Safa'ah's daycare, there were no signs of education for children related to Islamic values, whereas where there is a form of education for children based on Islamic values with the form of teaching daily prayers, singing Islamicsongs.

Abstract

Achievement motivation is a determinant of student achievement, students should have high achievement motivation regardless of the circumstances, when motivation for achievement is low, it will affect student achievement. Therefore it is necessary to look for factors that influence achievement motivation. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and achievement motivation and how much influence social support has on achievement motivation on students at the AL-Islam Krian High School Sidoarjo. This research was conducted with a quantitative correlational research method, using proportional sampling. with a sample of 382 students. The measurement tool uses two scales, namely social support scale and achievement motivation scale using the Spearman product moment correlation technique with the help of IBM Statistics 20 Version for Windows. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between social support and achievement motivation. The implication of this research is to develop student achievement and provide interventions to improve the quality of education. Increasing the quality of education to the maximum can increase social support and achievement motivation in students.
