Paulus Civil Engineering Journal (PCEJ) is a civil engineering scientific journal publishes every four months, March, June, September, and December. The first volume of PCEJ was published in 2019 with the mission of being a pioneer in publishing information media on the development of Civil Engineering research in Indonesia. As a national media, PCEJ can accommodate the need for media to disseminate the latest information and developments for researchers and Civil Engineering practitioners in Indonesia. Journal published by the Civil Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Kristen Indonesia Paulus in the Online Journal System (OJS). The scope of the Journal includes the following areas: Structure Water resources Transportation, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering Management Geotechnics as well as other fields of science related to these fields.

Abstract

Lapisan AC-WC sebagai lapisan teratas pada struktur perkerasan Jalan yang terpapar langsung oleh suhu, air dan beban roda kendaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui karakteristik Sungai Ilan Batu dalam campuran AC-WC. Metode uji karakteristik agregat halus dan kasar digunakan di penelitian ini, yang berpedoman pada standar Spesifikasi Umum Revisi 2 Bina Marga. Selanjutnya, penyusunan komposisi campuran (AC-WC) dirancang dan pengujian marshall digunakan guna mengevaluasi karakteristik campuran.  Untuk menilai campuran terhadap air, metode marshall immersion digunakan. Ini menghasilkan nilai stabilitas sisa Marshall. Data penelitian memperlihatkan karakteristik agregat dari Sungai Ilan Batu telah penuhi seluruh persyaratan spesifikasi teknis sebagai material untuk lapisan perkerasan jalan. Campuran AC-WC yang digunakan memuat agregat kasar sebesar 35,81%, agregat halus 52,98%, filler 5,21%, dan kadar aspal 6,00%. Berdasarkan hasil percobaan dengan rentang variasi kadar aspal 5,50% hingga 7,50%, disimpulkan kadar aspal optimum (KAO) untuk campuran ini sejumlah 6,00%. Hasil pengujian Marshall Immersion terhadap campuran pada KAO tersebut memperlihatkan nilai stabilitas sisa sebesar 66,20%.
