Abstract

The Reactor Unit in the Urea fertilizer plant is one of the units that functions to react to the components forming the Urea fertilizer, so that this unit is one of the most important systems. During the operation of this unit, the fluid height of the liquid inside the reactor will be kept stable so that the reaction in the reactor can react perfectly according to the product specifications. Therefore we need a model that can describe the behavior of the reactor so that the level of the liquid in the reactor can be maintained. In this research, a model for reactor units will be developed at the Urea plant using the Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) method using real-time operational data collected. This level control of reactor is maintained steady by level controller designed using inverse dynamics based on ANFIS. Results of simulation study demonstrate how the designed control technique performs well in tracking set-point. Performance comparison is also made between the designed and PI controllers

Abstract

Nestle was founded in 1866 by Henri Nestle. It started off with one man’s initiative to produce infant formula (for infants who are intolerant to their mothers’ milk) and grew into a multinational corporation worldwide. Nestle has more than 250,000 employees worldwide and factories all around globally. The infant product was so successful that it created demand all over Europe. Eventually This success brought in many business joint ventures and the company underwent many name changes along the way. Nestle started to enhance its product varieties and started to introduce baby cereals, breakfast cereals, chocolates, bottled drinks, beverages, icecreams, dairy products, food seasoning, pet food and many more. The product’s growth was encouraged by aggressive R&D (Research & Development). Nestlé is a successful company that has been around for 145 years and still its headquarter in Vevey,Switzerland. The company’s “objectives are to be recognized as the world leader and Nutrition, Health, and Wellness, trusted by all its stakeholders and to be the reference for financial performance in its industry” .Nestlé Environmental Advisory Group meets regularly to review current environmental issues and to anticipate potential concerns.A Review of the three most recent annual reports, which include the company’s balance sheet and income statement, displayed how Nestlé is trying to be the reference of financial performance in its industry. Reviewing the company’s assets, liabilities, andrevenues reiterates Nestlé’s success over the past couple of years. Today Nestlé is seen across grocery stores; however, the general population identifies them based on their brands.Nestlé’s most recent achievement was the purchase of Kraft Frozen pizza business.

Abstract

Bank Oranye is engaged in the provision of priority banking services and becomes one of the leading Indonesia’s state-owned enterprises that provides global wealth management. Apparently, Bank Oranye faced an intense competition with several players in priority banking service (which gradually provides complete wealth management products and/or services and able to go digitalize) and compete with investment products substitute offered by Fintech. This research intends to uncover the possibilities by analyzing the driving forces that could affect the priority banking business. The end result is to develop the scenarios and the formulation of implications and options. The scenario planning is developed based on external analysis (using PESTEL model and Porter 5 Forces) and internal analysis (VRIO analysis and Business Model Canvas). The critical uncertainties are determined by conducting in-depth interviews with company’s experts and literature study. The two critical uncertainties that will affect priority banking business of Bank Oranye in the next 5 years are: Technology Development and Adoption in the core banking system (including the adoption among priority customers) and Government Policy and Regulations. These two critical uncertainties will shape the way Bank Oranye performs with its vision to becomes one stop financial solutions for its customers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the impact of service quality, patient satisfaction, and trust on positive word of mouth (WOM) recommendations by dental clinic patients. The paper also investigates the mediating effect of loyalty on WOM. A survey involving 150 dental clinic patients is conducted using a structured questionnaire developed using existing constructs. Data are analyzed using regression analysis with mediation which is used to assess the degree of association between the constructs and also applied to analyze the mediating effect of loyalty. The study is limited to a small sample which may somewhat limit generalization of findings. The results show that service quality has neither direct nor indirect significant relathionship towards positive WOM, patient satisfaction has indirect significant relationship through the medium of loyalty towards positive WOM, and trust has both direct and indirect significant relationship through the medium of loyalty towards positive WOM of dental clinic’s patients. This study makes several contributions. For academic, this study establishes the importance of service quality, patient’s satisfaction, and trust as antecedents of WOM in the context of dental clinic patients and also establishes loyalty as the mediating factor between them. For practical, the result provides insights about factors that can influence positive WOM of dental clinic patients. Also, it is beneficial for dental clinic management to consider the promotion strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to get an overview of the influence of capital and entrepreneurship factors in improving the success of small industries, with the research design used in this study is survey research and causality studies because it has the aim to analyze whether there is a reciprocal influence between capital and entrepreneurship variables on the success of development small industry. The population in this study were small industrial entrepreneurs in Bitung. totaling 344 small industries and a sample of 185 small industries were taken (DISPERINDAKOP BITUNG). To analyze research data, use descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. Descriptive statistics are intended to provide a description of the research variables, namely average and standard deviation, media, and frequency tables and percentage analysis. Inferential statistics are intended for model validation analysis used to test hypotheses. To test the hypothesis presented in this study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. (Solimun, 2002). The results show that: First, the effect of the coefficient of capital variable (X1) on the success of small industry (Y) is 0.308 with the value of t is 5.033 from the significance level of 0.000. The coefficient shows that the variable capital (X1) has a positive influence on the success of small industries (Y). This means that an increase in capital (X 1), will be followed by an increase in the success of small industries (Y) assuming other factors that affect the success of small industries (Y) are considered constant. The statistic value t_count shows the effect of capital (X1) for the success of small industry (Y) is 5.033 with a significance level of 0000 or below 0.05. This means that capital (X1) has a significant influence on the success of small industries (Y). Second, the influence of entrepreneurship variable coefficient (X 2) on the success of small industry (Y) of 0.232 with a t-count of 4.2333 from the significance level of 0.000. The coefficient shows that the entrepreneurshipl variable (X2) has a positive effect on the success of small industries (Y). This means that increasing entrepreneurship (X 2), will be followed by an increase in the success of small industries (Y) by assuming that other factors that affect the success of the small industry (Y) are considered constant. Statistical value t arithmetic shows the influence of entrepreneurship (X 2) on the success of small industry (Y) of 4.233 with a significance of 0000 or below 0.05. This means that entrepreneurship (X2) has a significant effect on the success of small industries (Y). Thus it can be concluded that capital and entrepreneurship have a positive and significant effect on the success of small industry development. This shows that small business development, capital and entrepreneurship are factors that are very influential in the successful development of small industries.
