The family has a significant role in preparing individuals in the early stages of development of their members. Family members are expected to have an active role in the community where they live. Abstract

When it comes to social responsibility nowadays we find a wide variance between what corporations are offering and what should be offered in order to accommodate to what social responsibility is based on. Firstly, let us define corporate social responsibility, CSR is basically a corporation's initiatives to assess and take responsibility for the firm's effects on environmental and social wellbeing. Regardless any assessments regulated by the government. But the question remains, is what corporations doing regarding CSR considered a real social responsibility initiative? In most cases we find that corporations are adopting charities to exploit it as an advertisement and pursue a good image. But for educated people, they can differentiate between a real social responsibility and a false one. “There is nothing wrong about being wrong. But there is a shame of being wrong and doing nothingabout it”. We can never claim that humanity have reached its optimum level of education, morality or sense. In matter of fact, we should acknowledge that the life cycle will keep teaching us a day after one. But one of the most obstacles that faces people with change is a resistance toward a change. And that’s a human instinct to resist a change, and in such a case we shall adapt all methodologies of persuasion, negotiation and bargaining in order to take life, education and science to the next level and create a new generation that thinks differently. As someone unknown said“to sustain a planned change, there is no way better than creating a country inside an existing one then proceed as a snake which changes its own skin” Here where exactly Student’s Solid Stocks (SSS) comes to perform the magic. SSS is an organization that shall be funded by the government to organize, observe and utilize a major method for implementing a real social responsibility for corporations. For now, we’ll concentrate on the main function which is allowing corporations to share a bit of their fixed operating costs with the community (students). In return, a bit of the profits shall be dividends to the students. Yet, this is a very abstracted idea towards what I aiming for. Further information will be found in the following attached slides. Abstract

The rise of separatist actions in various regions in Indonesia raises concerns for all parties, including contractors as providers of construction project services. Not only separatism, thuggery acts that occur in the construction project environment are also considered to be 'natural'. The current SMK3 cost planning does not take into account events in different project locations, particularly in the western, central, and eastern parts of Indonesia. This should be considered since each region in Indonesia has different climatic conditions and characteristics. This study focuses on analyzing the relationship between project location and building height on K3 cost and further reviews the factors in these variables which are the dominant influence on K3 cost. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors in each variable that affect K3 costs and analyze the relationship between project location variables and building heights on the K3 cost model in Rusunawa construction projects. This study analyzes data from 5 experts and 12 respondents who work in construction companies using quantitative methods and questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that there are 5 variables with 33 indicators that affect the K3 cost of the Rusunawa construction project.

Abstract

The 2016 outbursts of nationalism in Europe and in the US have left globalization moribund. Investing domestically is becoming a strategy to remain competitive globally. We wonder how the creation of capacity for transportation infrastructure, leveraging internationalization, affects economic development. We nurture our reflections through the field observations of a US expert whose expertise was requested by DRC leaders. Our inductive approach is rigorously based on the case study methodology. We find that the lack of capacity to perform infrastructure development can be addressed by Western and local institutions, generating relationships that can lead to greater internationalization. This paper explores the needs of programs and methods through which Western Universities and local organizations can provide such capacity, even in one of the most challenging business environments on Earth. While our research cannot be generalized, it is applicable to organizations that seek to remain competitive domestically by capitalizing on internationalization. Keywords: Africa, internationalization, professional capacity, workforce development, project management, strategy.
