Abstract

The Foundation has an organ consisting of Trustees, Management, and Supervisors. The management of wealth and the implementation of foundation activities are carried out entirely by the Management. The foundation must periodically make an accountability report for the funds obtained from donors in detail related to the planned use of funds receipts and expenditure plans. The problem faced by the Foundation is how to obtain sustainable sources of funds used to finance the company's operational activities. As a result of this condition the Foundation cannot operate continuously. This problem is caused by 1) Lack of understanding of the Noor Arsy Foundation management regarding the preparation of the Foundation's financial strategic plan, so that the plan to obtain funding sources has not been well planned, 2) There is no good understanding of how to draw up a financial strategic plan to provide adequate financial information for sustainability. foundation, 3) Documentation of financial data information used to prepare financial strategic plans has not been well documented. Based on the data of the National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS) March 2021 from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), this study is conducted by using multinomial logistic regression method to archieve the objective. The results show that poverty status, dummy recipients of the BPNT program, presence of toilets and presence of toddlers have significant effect to the food security household in areas with high HDI status. While in areas with moderate HDI status, the factors that affect household food security are poverty status, gender of the head of the household, classification of residential area, presence of toilets and presence of toddlers. From this research it is necessary to apply policies that can strengthen household food security in both the moderata HDI and high HDI areas, especially in poor households with toddlers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the behavioral pattern of local government as seen from their spending regarding unconditional transfer and private income. Flypaper effect has been a major phenomenon in academic research. Nevertheless, in Indonesia, such research, especially the one focusing on the shift of unconditional transfer and private income, never been caried out. Over 22 years, Indonesia has been implementing decentralization which makes it more intriguing to see local governments’ budget and spending decisions’ motives. This paper uses a panel data from 476 districts and cities in Indonesia for 11 years. Classical assumption tests, endogeneity test as well as instrumental validation test were caried out before doing the regression. The result from two-stage least square regression shows that flypaper effect does not present in total spending yet appears in four other kinds of spending. Asymmetric response of those five are quite varied. Total expenditure and capital expenditure have symmetrical response. Meanwhile, operational spending and transfer spending have a fiscal replacement type of asymmetry. On the other hand, unexpected spending shows a fiscal restraint asymmetry. The direction of private income’s influence to spending also seen to be different from one another.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the financial distress of airline companies which is influenced by the ratio of liquidity, solvency, profitability, activity and investment. This research is inferential research with a quantitative approach. This research used financial statements of airline companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2021 as the data. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the liquidity ratio (Current Ratio) and solvency ratio (Debt to Equity Ratio) partially had no effect on the prediction of financial distress as measured using Springate model. Profitability ratio (Return on Assets), activity ratio (Total Assets Turnover) and investment ratio (Price Erning Ratio) partially have a positive effect on the prediction of financial distress. The profitability ratio has an influence of 81%, the activity ratio has 27.8% and the investment ratio has 7.6% on the prediction of financial distress. The prediction result of financial distress are not solely influenced by the company's ability to pay debts, both short term and long term. Conditions related to asset performance, such as Return on Assets and Total Asset Turnover actually affect the prediction results of financial distress.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The role of the green economy is very important, where the fulfillment of needs does not sacrifice the goals of sustainable consumption and production as well as resource efficiency. Indonesia has made a National Action Plan (RAN) to implement the 12th principle in the Sustainable Development Goals, known as Responsible Consumption and Production (RCP) aimed at improving production processes and consumption practices to reduce resource consumption, waste generation, and emissions throughout the life cycle of processes and products. RCP requires citizen involvement about community, increased awareness, willingness to pay, and environmental-friendly lifestyle. This research is intended to analyze the role of the Young Generation to become Influencers (through co-creation of values) so that they can encourage the implementation of good practices as green consumers. To gain insights on people’s willingness to participate in green economy, preliminary research has been conducted involving 229 respondents. A model was constructed to identify the antecedents of willingness to participate. The antecedents were Attitude, Perceived Behavioral Control and Behavior. Descriptively, the field findings can explain the behavior and willingness to participate of the younger generation in green economy practices. The findings of the preliminary research can be used as the basis for proposing a more predictive model using the role of influencers as a moderating variable that intervene in the influence of behavioral intention on willingness to participate. Keywords: Behavior, Willingness to participate, SDG, Influencers, Co-creation of Value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of tax socialization on individual taxpayer compliance, which is moderated by taxpayer awareness and understanding of taxation. The topic of individual taxpayer compliance is an interesting one to study because it looks at it from two perspectives, namely strength and trust in authorities. There are also differences in results from previous studies, which motivates the research. This study tries to analyse the effect of tax socialization on individual taxpayer compliance, which is mediation by taxpayer awareness and understanding of taxation. The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling, namely simple random sampling. The sample size in this study was 111 respondents. According to the findings of the study, tax socialization has an effect on individual taxpayer compliance, which is mediation by taxpayer awareness. Based on the research results, further research can add service quality variables. Good service quality will have an impact on increasing individual taxpayer compliance in carrying out their tax obligations, and then providing quality services to taxpayers will make taxpayers further increase individual taxpayer compliance in fulfilling their tax obligations. Keywords: Individual Taxpayer Compliance, Strength and Trust in Authorities, Tax Socialization, Taxpayer Awarennes, and Understanding of Taxation.

Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to analyze the effect of green supply chain management on economic performance in catering SMEs in the province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In the previous research, those relationships are mediated by green capability as the intervening variable. This study uses a purposive sampling technique. There are 50 catering SMEs as samples in this study. The questionnaire data were analyzed using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis method using the SmartPLS v.3.2.7 software. The results of this study are different from the previous research. The differences may come from the highly distinct population from the prior research subjects. Therefore, some hypotheses are not accepted. Only one hypothesis is accepted, which is about the effect of green capability on economic performance. The limitation of this research is that it only conducts research in one sector, and the differences in circumstances and places of research cause research results to differ significantly from previous studies. In addition, the results of this study cannot be generalized and do not represent existing businesses in other sectors.
