Abstract

Economics is a crucial research topic because in the future the economy may be one way to support the economy. The objective of this study is to analyze the variables that affect the use of economic platforms that share primary data sources. The data was obtained through a questionnaire of 144 respondents, the data were then subjected to a multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that one of the three exogenous variables, namely brand image did not affect creation, while service quality and trust had a strong and significant impact. Simultaneously shows significant outcome on the shared use of the platform economy. Quality makes the biggest contribution to influencing, so optimizing the implementation of quality and trust will help the development of the platform without harming users.

Abstract

This study aims to describe income utilization at the household level from an Islamic perspective. A qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews was carried out on 3 Muslim families longitudinally in 2015 and 2022. In the framework of household income management, Muslim families conduct the planning, implementation, and monitoring processes to spend income meeting their needs. During the planning stage, Muslim families prepare the planning process based on lillahi taala's (everything for god) intentions. Then at the implementation stage, Muslim families carry out activities to fulfill their needs in a halal and Thayib way. As for the monitoring stage, Muslim families spend some of their income through zakat, infaq, and sadaqah as a sustainability act toward the afterlife. Adaptation in income utilization practices can result from several factors: 1) socio-economic status and 2) technological change. Keywords: income utilization, household needs, Muslim family

Abstract

Transportation services are a much needed need today. But the pandemic has caused all sectors to experience a tremendous decline, including transportation. efforts are needed to retain existing customers to remain loyal to using transportation services with a customer relationship management strategy. This study determined how satisfaction and customer relationship management affect client loyalty. The participants in this study are people who have used online cab transportation services for more than two years in Medan that was started by 85 different people. An online survey that had been verified for validity and reliability was used in the data collection process. The data analysis method employed traditional assumption testing, hypothesis testing, and multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that, in part, customer relationship management and satisfaction have a major impact on customer loyalty, and that, in part, customer relationship management and satisfaction have a substantial impact on customer loyalty for online cab transportation services

Abstract

Young and low-skilled workers are the most affected groups due to the labor market disruption caused by the pandemic. One of the impacts is the transition of young workers, especially workers with low skills, or called blue-collar workers. The transition could be a change from blue-collar young workers to those Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET). This study aims to examine the determinants of the transition of blue-collar young workers who become Unemployed NEET or Inactive NEET during the pandemic. In this study, data from the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) with individual panel observations, observed in two survey periods, namely August 2019 and August 2020, were analyzed using multinomial logistic regression. Demographic factors, human capital, and the risk status of COVID-19 in the area where young workers live are important issues in the transition of blue-collar young workers to NEET. Optimizing gender-based employment policies, implementing policies that suit the needs of young workers in rural or urban areas, as well as intensifying the use of the internet for work that can increase worker resilience, are some of the solutions to prevent the NEET transition from blue-collar young workers during the pandemic. Keywords: Blue-Collar Worker, Multinomial logistic regression, NEET, Sakernas, Young worker

Abstract

Zakat has excellent potential to alleviate poverty and improve people's welfare. If zakat can help reduce poverty in a country. Assets are believed to be able to help the poor overcome difficulties in meeting their basic needs. If the distribution of these assets can result in productive activities, it will be more optimal. This article aims to analyze the management of Zakat in reducing poverty in Pekanbaru. This research is a descriptive-qualitative research method with a critical paradigm approach in a case study. The primary data collection method is observation, structured interviews, and documentation. While, Data processing and analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. While testing the validity of the data is done by testing the credibility. The result of this article is that zakat management has not been implemented optimally in alleviating poverty because; (1) the provision of zakat funds is still temporary or short-term assistance, (2) the management is not well organized, (3) the distribution of zakat funds for effective programs is still in small amounts when compared to other distribution portions, and (4) the distribution of zakat funds for effective programs, it is not based on the results of a comprehensive study and is accompanied by supervision from Badan Amil Zakat Nasional

Abstract

Education is one way to save oneself from poverty. There are 19.5 percent of poor people in East Java who have completed education at the senior high school level and above but are still in poor condition. This study aims to examine the effect of socio-economic and regional characteristics on the status of the poor with upper secondary education in each cultural area in the province of East Java. Using the 2021 Susenas data which was analyzed with binary logistic regression, it was found that there were differences in socio-economic characteristics in each cultural area. Disability disorders and gender affect educated poverty in the Arek area but have no effect in the Pandalungan, Mataraman, and Madura Islands areas. Formal and informal sector jobs only have an effect in the Pandalungan area and have no effect in other areas. Choosing to work in the primary sector only affects the Mataraman area. While the factors of age, access to technology and use of the internet reduce the opportunities for poverty in all cultural areas. Keywords: Poverty, Logistic Regression, Susenas, educated poor, cultural area

Abstract

Leadership is an important part in all organizations and continues to be needed over time. Becoming a leader with integrity in the current and future generations of millennial society is a critical challenge. The millennial generation is generally characterized by increasing mastery of technology and increasing intensity of use of social media and the internet. On the other hand, there are four dimensions of integrity that a leader needs to master, namely the dimensions of honesty, responsibility, tolerance, and love for the homeland. A leader who has integrity will gain the trust of those he leads, because what he says is also his actions. In the era of the millennial generation, effective leadership will be realized if the leaders can meet the qualifications as visionary leaders and have intellectual abilities. But a good leader must also have dimensions of integrity. This study aims to observe the phenomenon of educated millennials in the perspective of leadership integrity through a literature study. This research contributes to providing an overview of how the educational environment can be a part in shaping the integrity of the educated millennial generation. Keywords: Educated Millennials, Integrity, Leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existence of beta absolute convergence and beta conditional convergence, the impact of fiscal decentralization in terms of income and expenditure side on per capita income and the process of accelerating the per capita income convergence using 2015-2019 panel data of 113 regencies/municipalities obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics and the Directorate General for Fiscal Balance. Using fixed effect regression models, this study confirms that there are beta absolute convergence and beta conditional convergence in Java Island during 2015-2019. Other findings are Local Own Source Revenue and Fiscal Balance Fund have a significant positive effect on per capita income growth, while Personnel Expenditure and Capital Expenditure have a significant negative effect on per capita income growth. The results also show that all indicators of fiscal decentralization play significant role in accelerating the convergence of per capita income. Based on the results of estimates, Local Government Own Source Revenue should be optimized and quality of government spending have to be improved to foster income per capita convergence between regions in Java Island.Keywords: income per capita convergence, fiscal decentralization regional inequality, absolute beta convergence, conditional beta convergence

Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia's involvement in supporting the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (Conference of the Parties-26/COP-26) in overcoming economic, social and environmental problems through low-carbon development, requires the acceleration of the implementation of Circular Economy (CE) practices. Circular Economy (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recovery and Repair) is an alternative to switch from a linear/traditional economy (take-make-dispose). This research is aimed at exploring the extent to which the role of the younger generation (in terms of preferences, mindsets, and expectations) to become agents of change to accelerate the implementation of good practices in the CE.  A survey with a descriptive method involving 253 respondents (the younger generation) found that respondents did not mind being agents of change (with the range of answers agree and strongly agree was above 70%) to participate for the success of the CE practices, especially related to the desire to invite others to implement the CE economic practices (87%), willingness to dedicate time to set a positive example and be a part of a community that cares about the practices of  CE (84%). The findings of this research are then used as the basis for building a comprehensive CE model to examine its 3 dimensions, namely: stakeholder management, community engagement, and knowledge creation. Keywords: Circular Economy, Agent of Change, Stakeholder Management, Community Engagement, Knowledge Creation.

Abstract

Purpose: Improve business performance by implementing a eco-friendly marketing sustainability model to penetrate the international market in the 5.0 society era. Methodology: The research method is an exploratory qualitative approach by collecting data based on in-depth interviews with related informants. The sampling technique is purposive sampling, in which the main criteria are SMEs assisted by the Central Java Government. The research analysis flow is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Findings: The results show the "GREEBO" solution model can be implemented in two ways, including (1) education and increasing green marketing knowledge; (2) mentoring and business model development. Research Limitation: The research object only SMEs in several city, so it can’t generate the whole situation in province. Improving SMEs business performance through the government's online single submission programs, so another government can adopt the "GREEBO" model. Practical implications: Improving SMEs business performance through the government's online single submission programs, so another government can adopt the "GREEBO" model. Originality/value: Eco-friendly marketing is the answer to internationalization several obstacles of SMEs facing the 5.0 society era market dynamics.
