Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of financial reporting quality and debt maturity structure on investment efficiency, with institutional ownership serving as a moderating vairiable, among energy sector companies in Indonesia and Malaysia during the 2021-2025 period. The data were obtained from Refinitiv Eikon with a sample of 713 firm-year observations from 209 companies selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) as proposed by Sharma et al. The results indicate the financial reporting quality has a positive and significant effect on investment efficiency. Furthemore, institutional ownership does not moderate the relationship between either financial reporting quality or debt maturity structure and investment efficiency. The comparative analysis also reveals that energy sector companies in Malaysia exhibit higher investment efficiency, better financial reporting quality and a greater proportion of short-term debt tha their counterparts in Indonesia while energy sector companies in Indonesia have a higher proportion of institutional ownership than those in Malaysia

Abstract

The aim of this study is analyze the influence between knowledge and social media on gold investment interest among Generation Z in Kolaka Regency while simultaneously testing the role of perceived benefit as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, and data were collected using questionnaires distributed to 170 respondents selected via purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling and Smart PLS 4 application as the tool. Results show a significant influence of knowledge on gold investment interest. Social media was also found to significantly influence gold investment interest. Furthermore, perceived benefit significantly affect gold investment interest. However, the relationship between knowledge and social media regarding interest in gold investment cannot be moderated by the perceived benefit. These findings suggest that enhancing investment knowledge, utilizing social media, and fostering positive perceptions of gold investment benefits can boost gold investment interest among Generation Z in Kolaka Regency. Meanwhile, perceived benefit neither strengthen nor weaken the influence of knowledge and social media on interest investing in gold.

Abstract

Employee well-being has become increasingly important in creative industries characterized by digitalization, irregular work arrangements, and intensive performance demands. This study examines the relationships among technology integration, work–life balance, job stress, and employee well- being among 150 professionals in Jakarta’s art industry. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed, and the data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 3. The model explained 62.2% of the variance in employee well-being and demonstrated predictive relevance. Technology integration and work–life balance were positively and significantly associated with employee well-being. Job stress also produced a significant coefficient; however, its positive direction contradicted the hypothesized negative relationship. The item coding and original model output should therefore be verified before this result is interpreted substantively. This study extends existing evidence by integrating digital, work–life, and stress-related conditions within an underexamined creative- industry context. From an internal marketing perspective, technology integration may be understood as internal service infrastructure, work–life balance as part of the employee value proposition, and stress management as an expression of organizational support. This perspective extends the managerial relevance of the findings without treating internal marketing as an empirically tested construct.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of live streaming, brand Ambassadors, and Advertising on purchasing decisions for Erigo fashion products on Shopee. The study employs the Stimulus-Response (S-R) which was introduced by Ivan Pavlov in 1897, positioning live streaming, brand ambassadors, and advertising as stimuli that influence consumer responses— specifically, purchasing decisions. A quantitative approach was used, utilizing a non-probability purposive sampling technique to select 100 respondents who had previously purchased Erigo fashion products on Shopee. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the aid of IBM SPSS Statistics 27. The results indicate that live streaming and brand ambassadors have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, with brand ambassadors exerting the most dominant influence compared to the other variables. Meanwhile, while advertising showed a positive influence on purchasing decisions, the effect was not statistically significant. The novelty of this research lies in the simultaneous examination of the effects of live streaming, brand ambassadors, and advertising on purchasing decisions for Erigo fashion products on Shopee within the context of the Purwokerto community. This study is expected to contribute to the development of digital marketing research particularly regarding the application of S-R theory—and provide valuable insights for the company in formulating effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

Study this aim: the Buwuhan tradition in Baosan Kidul Village Subdistrict, Ngrayun Regency, Ponorogo, from the perspective of Islamic economics. Traditional ancient wisdom is local wisdom that reflects the values of mutual cooperation and solidarity in rural public areas. However, in practice, Buwuhan is often accompanied by hope of reciprocity, which causes ambiguity between voluntary and transactional social binding. Research. This approach is qualitative with a case study method. Data collected through observation, participatory, and in-depth methods. Research shows that ancient societies played an important role in strengthening social networks and helping to relieve the economic burden on citizens. However, there is a trend shift value, from the original nature tabarru ' (giving, voluntary) to a form of exchange of a nature mu' āwadhah . In the review of Islamic economics, this causes problems related to a clear contract, potential gharar, and the presence of doubtful elements. Although tradition is ancient, it has its own benefits when executed sincerely and without burden. Therefore, it is necessary to repeat practicing Buwuhan to remain in harmony with the values of Sharia and the objectives of the social community. Contribution study: This lies in his efforts to bridge the gap in understanding between local practice culture and the principles of Islamic economics, namely, from social solidarity to the transaction economy. so that it enriches treasury science in studies of jurisprudence, transactions, and context.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of Perceived Organizational Support (POS) and Work-Life Balance (WLB) on Employee Performance, with Employee Engagement serving as a mediating variable among private-sector employees in Samarinda City. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed, involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Primary data were collected using a five- point Lik ert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results demonstrate that Perceived Organizational Support has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (β = 0.296; p < 0.001), while Work - Life Balance also has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (β = 0.265; p = 0.001). Furthermore, Employee Engagement significantly mediates the effect of Perceived Organizational Support on Employee Performance (β = 0.104; p = 0.011) and the effect of Work-Life Balance on Employee Performance (β = 0.133; p = 0.001). Both mediation pathways indicate complementary partial mediation, suggesting that POS and WLB enhance employee performance both directly and indirectly through Employee Engagement. The model explains 55.2% of the variance in Employee Performance and 42.8% of the variance in Employee Engagement. These findings highlight Employee Engagement as an important psychological mechanism through which organizational support and work -life balance are translated into improved performance. The study provides practical implications for private-sector organizations by emphasizing the importance of integrating organizational support, work-life balance initiatives, and employee engagement strategies to promote sustainable employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Sustainability disclosure Report and application of Green Accounting to the financial performance of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020–2024 period. Financial performance is proxied using Return on Assets (ROA). on Assets (ROA), while the company size ( Firm Size ) and Leverage are used as control variables. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causality design and panel data obtained from annual reports and company sustainability reports. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, resulting in 11 companies with a total of 55 observations. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression after testing the classical assumptions. The results of the study indicate that Sustainability disclosure Reports have a positive and significant effect on financial performance before the control variables are entered, but this effect becomes insignificant after being controlled by Firm Size and Leverage . The implementation of Green Accounting does not have a significant effect on financial performance in both models. Meanwhile, Firm Size and Leverage have a negative and significant effect on financial performance. Simultaneously, Sustainability Report , Green Accounting , Firm Size and leverage significantly influence financial performance, with the model explaining 26.7% of the variation in ROA. This finding indicates that sustainability practices have not directly impacted financial performance in the short term, but they still play a strategic role in supporting long-term corporate sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of gamification and social commerce on Shopee customer loyalty in Indonesia. With the rapid growth of e-commerce, digital platforms are competing to implement innovative strategies to retain customers. As the market leader in Indonesia, Shopee integrates gamification features such as Shopee Tanam, Shopee Games, and a points system, as well as social commerce features through Shopee Live, product reviews, and community interactions to increase user loyalty. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach to measure the perceptions of active Shopee users towards gamification and social commerce features, as well as their influence on customer loyalty, which is measured through repurchase frequency, willingness to recommend, and platform preference. Data analysis is performed using multiple linear regression to test the simultaneous and partial effects of independent variables on loyalty. The results of this study are expected to provide a comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of gamification and social commerce strategies in building customer loyalty in Indonesian e-commerce, as well as provide practical recommendations for platform managers in optimizing these features to increase customer retention in a competitive market. This study contributes to the e-commerce literature by providing empirical evidence from emerging markets on the integration of gamification and social commerce strategies.
