Abstract

Politics as it is known to be a fear for some people if misused properly. However, in Al-Farabi's view this is not the case. If politics is used properly it will bring happiness to everyone. He believes that good politics can lead to happiness for everyone and not only certain people. Politics is one of the factors of happiness for humans. in this life, humans cannot escape from the political aspect. politics is a very important part of human life. as contained in the thought of al-Farabi. Happiness in his thinking places politics at the most important place because his part of philosophy has a political goal but politics is not an end in itself but as a means to obtain the ultimate goal for humans. This research is a library research using primary sources from the works of Al-Farabi itself and secondary sources as a supporter of achieving the objectives of this research.Politik sebagaimana yang diketahui, menjadi ketakutan bagi sebagian orang apabila disalahgunakan. Namun, dalam pandangan al-Farabi tidaklah demikian. Jika politik digunakan dengan sebaik-baiknya, maka akan mendatangkan kebahagiaan bagi semua orang. Ia menilai bahwa politik yang baik dapatmengantarkan kepada kebahagiaan bagi semua orang dan bukan saja kepada orang-orang tertentu. Politik menjadi salah satu faktor kebahagiaan bagi manusia. Dalam kehidupan ini, manusia tidak dapat melepaskan diri dari aspek politik. politik menjadi bagian yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Sebagaimana yang terdapat dalam pemikiran al-Farabi, kebahagiaan dalam pemikirannya menempatkan politik sebagai tempat yang paling penting karena bagian filsafatnya mempunyai tujuan politik, namun politik bukanlah tujuan dalam dirinya tetapisebagai sarana untuk memperoleh tujuan terakhir bagi manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan sumber primer dari karya-karya al-Farabi dan sumber sekunder sebagai pendukung dari tercapainya tujuan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

It is still a debate by Muslims community about the right practice of the dhikr, because the explanation in the Qur’an of the issue of dhikr is very common. Meanwhile the hadith of the Prophet provides also various information about this issue. The guidance of the hadith about the practice of dhikr relies on the practice which is done by the Prophet, then emulated and imitated by his friends and became the practice of sunna for Muslims until today. One of the issues sahabah is the implementation of zikr in congregation (dhikr jama'i). Dhikr in congregation is gathering some people with one voice chanting dhikr. There are pros and cons regarding this practice of Dhikr. There are groups who think that the congregation of Dhikr is an act of heresy and in contrast, there is a presumption that the act is sunnah. This paper will discuss the issue, seen from the perspective of Hadith. This research uses library research method by reviewing the hadiths related to the congregation of Dhikr followed by the criticism of Hadiths’ Sanad and Matan, and the understanding of those hadiths.

Abstract

AbstractThis article describes the parenting proposed by Hurlock and its relevance to parenting in Islam in the face of Islamic moderation demands. This research is comparative research with data analysis techniques using content analysis and descriptive analysis. This research concludes that there are two Hurlock’s parenting patterns related to Islamic parenting, namely authoritarian and democratic parenting. In Islamic Parenting, parents parenting is not authoritarian and not too permissive towards children; this is in line with the concept of Wasatiyyah in Islam, which means in the middle. This parenting is one of the examples of Noah AS., Ibrahim AS., and Luqman as told int the Qur’an, and the example og prophet Muhammad SAW., in the Sunnah. To face the moderation of Islam, parents can apply these two parenting styles to their children. Through moderate but still Islamic parenting, it is hoped that it can make a generation that can become part of the "ummatan wasaṭan", namely a generation that has good, fair, and not extreme characters, and is independent, not taking sides except for what is right according to the teachings of the Shari'a.Keyword: Parenting, Hurlock, Islamic Parenting, Moderation of IslamAbstrakArtikel ini memaparkan tentang pola asuh yang dikemukakan oleh Hurlock dan relevansinya dengan parenting dalam Islam dalam menghadapi tuntutan moderasi Islam. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian komparatif dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis konten dan analisis deskriptif. Adapun kesimpulan dari peneltian ini adalah bahwa terdapat dua pola asuh Hurlock yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan parenting Islami, yaitu pola asuh otoriter dan demokratis. Dalam Pola Asuh Islami orang tua dalam pengasuhan Anak tidak otoriter dan tidak terlalu permisif terhadap anak, hal imi senada dengan konsep Wasatiyyah dalam Islam yang artinya ditengah Pola asuh tersebut merupakan salah satu keteladanan Nabi Nuh As., Nabi Ibrahim AS., dan Luqman yang diceritakan dalam al-Qur’an, serta keteladanan Nabi Muhammad dalam Sunnah. Untuk menghadapi moderasi Islam dua pola asuh tersebut dapat diterapkan oleh orang tua terhadap anaknya. Melalui pola asuh moderat namun tetap islami diharapkan dapat menjadikan generasi yang mampu menjadi bagian dari “ummatan wasaṭan”, yaitu generasi yang memiliki karakter baik, adil, dan tidak ekstrem, serta bersifat independen, tidak berpihak kecuali kepada hal yang benar menurut ajaran syariat. Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh, Hurlock, Parenting Islami, Moderasi Islam

Abstract

Berdasarkan aturan negara yang memberikan ruang pembinaan bagi anak yang melakukan tindak pidana melalui pemasyarakatan, diketahui bahwa pemahaman preventif atau pencegahan terhadap pendekatan aspek-aspek religius, psikologis, dan sosiologis perlu dilakukan di lembaga pemasyarakatan, di samping pemahaman terhadap tindakan represif atau penindakan dalam pemahaman perspektif hukum. Oleh karenanya dibutuhkan perhatian serius dalam hal Hak asasi anak dalam konteks HAM dengan statusnya sebagai bahagian dari warga negara. dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa perencanaan pembinaan agama Islam narapidana anak di lembaga pemasayarakatan kelas II A Kota Bengkulu belum disusun secara terprogram, sehingga pelaksanaan pembinaan agama Islam bagi narapidana anak di lembaga pemasayarakatan kelas II A Kota Bengkulu dilakukan secara insidentil, dan pelaksanaannya digabung dengan narapidana dewasa, akibatnya pembinaan agama Islam bagi narapidana anak di lembaga pemasayarakatan kelas II A Kota Bengkulu belum mencapai harapan yang diinginkan. Hal ini terjadi karena belum disusunnya indikator keberhasilan sesuai dengan standar pembinaan yang diharapkan.

Abstract

This research is library research, which makes books as the main data source.  This research focuses on a pedagogical theory developed by Mahmud Yunus. From a variety of searches can be put forward several Pedagogic Theories developed by Mahmud Yunus namely;  1) The purpose of education according to Mahmud Yunus is to prepare students so that when they become adults they will be able and capable of doing the work of the world and the practice of the hereafter so as to create happiness with the world and the hereafter.  2) Mahmud Yunus implements the halaqah and classical teaching system in Madras School, which was developed by Mahmud Yunus is a classical system.  3) Mahmud Yunus in teaching using the lecture method, question and answer (dialogue), assignments, demonstrations, group work and uswatun hasanah (exemplary).  4) In teaching Arabic the Mahmud Yunus uses the direct method.  5) In teaching, he uses various approaches namely rational, emotional, and practical approaches.  6) Mahmud Yunus is a figure who pioneered an integrated curriculum in Islamic educational institutions.  7) If you want to improve education and teaching in Indonesia it is important to improve teachers by preparing teachers in teacher schools.

Abstract

This paper describes the development of the study of the Quran in Indonesia. Through historical-analytical approach, it shows that since the arrival of Islam in Indonesia, the study of the Quran has always been developing. They were starting from oral translation until the birth of interpretive products with various dynamics in them. The research question is, what are the forms of the dynamics of the study of the Quran in Indonesia. This study shows that the study of the Quran in Indonesia is moving dynamically, especially in terms of language characters and paradigms. The languages and characters used vary, ranging from Arabic and Arabic script to local-national languages and scripts (Indonesian and Latin characters), such as jawi, lontara, and pegon. Furthermore, the paradigm is also dynamic, such as textual and contextual approaches. The textual approach has characteristics dealing with the linguistic area and historical context of the Quran, not touching the context in which the Quranic verse is studied. Then the contextual approach, which is not only a linguistic aspect but also pays attention to the context both when the Quran was revealed and the context in which the Quran lives, to see the universal meaning of the Quran. In Indonesia, contextual approaches have started in the reformative or modern-contemporary era, at the end of the 20th century AD, and have developed until now.Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang perkembangan kajian al Quran di Indonesia. Melalui pendekatan historis-analitis dapat diketahui bahwa sejak masuknya Islam ke Indonesia, kajian al Quran selalu mengalami perkembangan. Berawal dari terjemahan secara lisan, hingga lahirnya produk-produk tafsir dengan berbagai dinamika di dalamnya. Pertanyaan yang ingin dijawab dalam penelitian ini adalah terkait apa saja bentuk dinamika kajian al Quran yang terjadi di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kajian al Quran di Indonesia bergerak dinamis, terutama dalam aspek bahasa-aksara dan paradigma.  Bahasa dan aksara yang dipakai beragam, mulai dari bahasa dan aksara Arab sampai pada bahasa dan aksara lokal-nasional (bahasa Indonesia dan aksara latin), seperti aksara jawi, lontara, dan pegon. Sedangkan paradigmapun juga dinamis, yaitu pendekatan tekstual dan kontekstual.  Pendekatan tekstual memiliki karaktersitik berkutat pada wilayah linguistik dan konteks sejarah al Quran, tidak menyinggung konteks di mana ayat al Quran itu dikaji. Kemudian pendekatan kontekstual yang tidak hanya aspek linguistiknya saja, tetapi juga memerhatikan konteks saat al Quran itu diturunkan maupun konteks dimana al Quran itu hidup  untuk melihat makna universal al Quran. Di Indonesia, Pendekataan kontekstual sudah mulai terjadi di era reformatif atau modern-kontemporer, akhir abad ke-20 M dan berkembang sampai sekarang.

Abstract

Culture is the result of creativity, taste, and works created by society, which are complex and derived from knowledge, belief, art, morals, law, custom, including the skills and habits that runs on society. Human beings is a social creature whose role is not only become the producers of systems thinking, values, morals, norms, and conviction but also social interaction with another human beings and the nature of life. Humans are governed by systems of thinking, values, morals, norms, and beliefs that have been generated in the community. Education is a planned effort to develop the potency of learners, so that they have a system of thinking, values, morals, and beliefs that inherited by their community and develop the appropriate life guideance for present and the future. In the process of cultural education and the character of the nation; active participant or learners that develop their potency, the internalization process, and appreciation of values into their personalities in the mix in society,help develop the community life become more prosperous , and develop the nation's dignity. The existence and urgency of creating a culture and a religiousity in school actually is a process of the familiarization or habituation of values of Islamic education in schools, so as to improve and strengthen the educational goals. Budaya adalah hasil cipta, rasa, dan karya yang dibuat oleh masyarakat yang bersifat kompleks bersumber dari pengetahuan, kepercayaan, seni, moral, hukum, adat-istiadat, serta kemampuan-kemampuan dan kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang berjalan pada masyarakat. Manusia sebagai makhluk sosial menjadi penghasil sistem berpikir, nilai, moral, norma, dan keyakinan; akan tetapi juga dalam interaksi dengan sesama manusia dan alam kehidupan, manusia diatur oleh sistem berpikir, nilai, moral, norma, dan keyakinan yang telah dihasilkannya. Religiusitas lebih melihat aspek yang “di dalam lubuk hati nurani” pribadi, sikap personal yang sedikit banyak misteri bagi orang lain, karena menapaskan intimitas jiwa, cita rasa yang mencakup totalitas ke dalam si pribadi manusia. Pendidikan merupakan upaya terencana dalam mengembangkan potensi peserta didik, sehingga mereka memiliki sistem berpikir, nilai, moral, dan keyakinan yang diwariskan masyarakatnya dan mengembangkan warisan tersebut ke arah yang sesuai untuk kehidupan masa kini dan masa mendatang. Dalam proses pendidikan budaya dan karakter bangsa, secara aktif peserta didik mengembangkan potensi dirinya, melakukan proses internalisasi, dan penghayatan nilai- nilai menjadi kepribadian mereka dalam bergaul di masyarakat, mengembangkan kehidupan masyarakat yang lebih sejahtera, serta mengembangkan kehidupan bangsa yang bermartabat. Eksistensi dan urgensi penciptaan budaya religius di sekolah sesungguhnya adalah pembudayaan atau pembiasaan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam dalam kehidupan di sekolah, sehingga dapat meningkatkan dan menguatkan tujuan pendidikan.

Abstract

Tuna Susila (WTS) women are women who sell themselves and perform sexual acts as a livelihood, in terms of religion and health, the actions of Tuna Susila (WTS) women violate the norms in living life. In overcoming their efforts, there needs to be a guidance for Women Tuna Susila (WTS) to change their mindset so that they leave acts that are not following the prevailing norms in life. They can find better jobs and develop the knowledge that is in themselves as well as the knowledge that has been given while in the institution and return to the right path. The theory used in this study is the social theory of phenomenology (phenomenology Sociology), which was put forward by Alfred Schutz, who states that human action becomes a social relationship if humans give meaning or meaning to their activities as something meaningful. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive types to develop the problems to be studied. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the coaching process that was obtained by Women Tuna Susil (WTS) while in the Andam Dewi Solok orphanage, had made most of the Tuna Susil Women (WTS) leave their jobs as Tuna Susil (WTS) and could continue their lives towards better. Forms of guidance given to Women with Tuna Susil (WTS) at Andam Dewi Solok orphanage can be grouped into four of them: (a). Physical guidance aims to improve the physical and health conditions of Tuna Susila Women (WTS) to be able to absorb the guidance material delivered. (b). Thoughtful guidance, the aim is to guide and improve the mental or psychological of the client. (c). Community social guidance aims to lead to harmony and community life togetherness. (d). Skills guidance, the purpose of this skill is for those who are trained to gain knowledge and skills so they can open their own business from the skills they have.

Abstract

This research discusses the local ulama's interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an, which textually supports the optimization of the fulfillment of the rights of workers in Indonesia. The mufassirs are Prof. Quraish Shihab, Shaykh Nawawi Al-Jawi, and KH. Bisri Musthofa. Mufassir Nusantara has a crucial role as a mediator between local communities who issue legal products and the Koran text, which is the absolute decree of Allah SWT to humanity. This includes being a figure capable of providing Quranic solutions to various prophetic problems in society, including labor. This research is a literature study. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative research method by trying to dissect Mufassir Nusantara's thoughts against the texts of the Al-Quran. The researcher found that the interpretation of the local Mufassir has relevance to the study of the text of the Al-Quran verses, which are used as the basis of arguments for the fulfillment of labor rights in Indonesia.Penelitian ini membahas penafsiran ulama nusantara terhadap ayat -ayat Al-Qur’an yang secara tekstualitas mendukung optimalisasi pemenuhan hak- hak kaum buruh di Indonesia. Para Mufassir tersebut adalah Prof. Quraish Shihab, Syaikh Nawawi Al-Jawi, dan KH. Bisri Musthofa.  Mufassir Nusantara memiliki peran yang krusial sebagai mediator antara masyarakat lokal yang mengeluarkan produk hukum, dengan teks Al-Quran yang merupakan ketetapan absolut Allah SWT kepada umat manusia. Termasuk diantaranya menjadi tokoh yang mampu memberi solusi Qurany terhadap berbagai problem profetik masyarakat, diantaranya buruh. Penelitian ini merupakan studi pustaka. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan mencoba membedah pemikiran Mufassir Nusantara terhadap teks -teks Al-Quran. Peneliti menemukan bahwa penafsiran  Mufassir lokal  memiliki relevansi terhadap studi teks ayat-ayat Al-Quran yang digunakan sebagai dasar argumentasi pemenuhan hak -hak buruh di Indonesia.

Abstract

Hadith is the second main source of Islamic teaching after the Qur'an. To understand it in depth, a comprehensive study with certain methods and approaches is needed to be able to capture the intent of a hadith. In accordance with the times, contemporary scholars try to understand a hadith with their respective methods of understanding. Among the contemporary scholars were Muhammad al-Ghazali and Yusuf al-Qardhawi. They offer several methods for understanding the Prophet's hadith. According to al-Ghazali, the method of understanding the Prophet's hadith must be measured from the four criteria of the hadith validity, namely: the hadith must be in accordance with the Koran, the hadith must be in accordance with other saheeh traditions, the hadith must be in accordance with historical facts, the hadith must be in accordance with scientific truth. While Yusuf al-Qardhawi is broader than the four things put forward by Muhammad al-Ghazali.
