Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease and is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. One of the efforts to increase coverage of active TB findings is TB screening by TB cadres. This study aims to study TB case finding with the role of ASMARA TB cadres (TB Independent Screening Application). This research is qualitative. The informants are ASMARA TB cadres at UPT Puskesmas Karawaci Baru. Data was collected through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). of 32 cadres. The results of the study obtained 4 themes, namely Theme 1: Correct understanding of cadres about the meaning, signs, symptoms, and transmission of TB, Theme 2: Cadre's knowledge of TB Contact Investigation, Theme 3: Barriers to TB Contact Investigation, Theme 4: Obstacles Individual, Environmental and Socio-Cultural. The results showed that the Asmara TB cadres had good knowledge about TB, but it was necessary to increase knowledge continuously. Cross-sectoral cooperation is still minimal, there is a lack of public knowledge about pulmonary TB, the distance to health facilities is quite far, local cultural values and education levels are low, the role of trained cadres is not optimal, and religious leaders and the community are less involved. Continuous health education efforts are needed with cadres and community leaders to increase awareness of early detection of TB.

Abstract

The availability of quality human resources determines the progress of a nation because by having quality human resources, a nation will be able to use and develop the latest technology to increase productivity on all fronts to realize the nation's prosperity. To achieve this, Indonesia is faced with an urgent problem to solve, namely stunting. The Indonesian government is aware of these problems and has taken several steps to solve them holistically by involving various approaches. However, there is no role model for religious institutions to accelerate the reduction of stunting prevalence in Indonesia. From this problem, the research design aims to build a model of the Islamic approach and environmental piety in increasing the convergence of accelerating stunting reduction in the community, as well as developing a model for accelerating stunting reduction through proper clean water and safe sanitation. The research design presented is expected to be material for joint discussion to contribute to improving the quality of human resources, Primarily by reducing the prevalence of stunting.

Abstract

One of the efforts to overcome Covid-19 is the vaccination program. Anti-SARS CoV-2 is an antibody against Sars-CoV-2 formed due to previous exposure to Covid-19 infection or due to the administration of the Covid-19 vaccine. This study aims to determine the average number of Anti-Sars-CoV-2 respondents vaccinated against Covid 19 and the relationship between age and the number of Anti-Sars-CoV-2. This research is a quantitative study with an observation method with a cross-sectional approach which means looking for a relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, and this study uses secondary data. The results of this study indicate that more than half of the respondents (52%) are male, while based on the most common age group is 36-45 (48%), the average value of Anti Sars Cov-2 is 92.76%, with the lowest value 5.1 U/ml and the highest value 250 U/ml, statistical test results show that there is no age relationship with levels of Anti-ars-Cov-2. Suggestion: Further research is needed by looking at other predictors that affect levels of Anti Sars-Cov-2.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 19/COVID-19 has an impact on utility services. Utility services such as clean water, electricity supply, security, and cleanliness are included in the scope, especially in the town management. This qualitative research with a case study design aims to get an overview of employee perceptions regarding the prevention of COVID-19 transmission. The study was conducted at Kelapa Dua Sub-district, Bencongan Indah Village, Tangerang on 5/five informants who worked in the Town Management. Data were collected through interviews with the implementation of health protocols and analyzed using a problem-solving approach with Fishbone Analysis. The results showed that until June 2022 83 employees were exposed to COVID-19. This is due to several factors, such as human resources, machines, methods, budgets, materials, and the environment, such as the number of operational working hours serving residents/residences for 24 hours, there is no task force team/Satgas COVID-19, there are no tools to check the conditions exposed to workers, there is no SOP/Standard Operating Procedure to implement health protocols, the price of Swab/PCR and mask examinations are expensive, there are no vaccines at the beginning of the pandemic, and health protocols implementation at homes and in public inconsistent. Need more efforts to increase positive perceptions such as the creation of a special team for the COVID-19 Task Force and efforts to increase employee awareness to implement health protocols consistently.

Abstract

Based on a preliminary study by conducting interviews with 10 families of thalassemia patients at RSCM Kiara. It was found that only 40 % were obedient in giving iron chelation to thalassemia patients. This study aimed to find the relationship between family knowledge about iron chelation and adherence to consuming iron chelation in children with thalassemia. The method used in this study was a descriptive non-experimental method with a cross-sectional approach. Data analysis techniques in this activity are presented as descriptive and bivariate analysis using Spearman's rho statistical test with = 0.05. It measures the level of adherence to taking medication using the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8) questionnaire. Based on the results of measuring respondents' knowledge level, 85.5% of respondents have a good level of knowledge 14.5% of respondents have a sufficient level of knowledge. Measuring the level of adherence to medication, 22.9% of respondents have high adherence to drug consumption, 42.2% of respondents have a moderate level of adherence to drug consumption, and 34.9% have a low adherence to drug consumption. There is significant relationship between the knowledge level about iron chelation and adherence to giving iron chelation (p-value 0.006 <0.05 and r-value of 0.30). But the relationship is low, so knowledge about iron chelation alone is not enough to make adherence to giving iron chelation in children with high adherence results.

Abstract

Patient safety is a serious global concern in health services. The implementation of patient safety in hospitals refers to the Patient Safety Goals (SKP), according to the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.01.07/Menkes/1128/2022. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of SKP in Maternal and Child Hospitals according to the 2022 Ministry of Health accreditation standards. The study used qualitative methods through interviews, documentation, and observations. Informants in this study were management and staff. From the results obtained from a policy perspective, the implementation of SKP 2, 4, 5, and 6 at RSIA Nuraida is complete. This condition was found to be different from the results of documentation and observation, where SKP 1, 3, 4, and 6 had reached the Ministry of Health standard, which was 100%. For SKP 2 the achievement of 80% is because the officers have not mastered communication methods well, so the recording is incomplete. While the cause of the achievement of SKP 5 only reached 84% because the officers did not carry out hand washing according to the SPO. The SKP implementation at RSIA Nuraida concludes that it almost meets the 2020 Ministry of Health accreditation standards. This can be seen from 4 of the 6 SKP fields that have reached the 100% standard. Suggestions that might be recommended are hospital management to develop policy directions related to SKP along with socialization, placing human resources who have the expertise, ability, and willingness in the field of accreditation, ensuring that SKP is implemented by each unit through the PMKP Committee by having periodic simulation programs and filling in data. ISKP every month, making experience sharing activities, and briefings on patient safety issues.
