Abstract

Introduction: Acute Respiratory Infection is a disease that attacks the upper or lower respiratory tract and is usually contagious. One way that can be done to reduce the incidence of Acute Respiratory Infection is to increase public knowledge. Knowledge can be increased through health education. Objective: To increase public knowledge regarding Acute Respiratory Infection. Method: Health education is used as a method in this community service activity accompanied by pre and post tests. Results: Before being given health education there were 60% who had good knowledge, 35% had sufficient knowledge, and 5% had less knowledge, whereas after being given health education there were 50% who had good knowledge and 50% who were sufficient. Conclusion: Health education can be used as an effort to increase public knowledge about Acute Respiratory Infection.

Abstract

Skincare is a variety of skin care products such as facial cleansers, moisturizers, serums, and masks, increasingly popular among Indonesian consumers due to the increasing awareness of the importance of good skin care. This study aims to test and analyze the effect of Advertising on Brand Loyalty, Public Relations on Brand Loyalty, Direct Marketing on Brand Loyalty, Sales Promotion on Brand Loyalty on Skincare in Indonesia. The sampling procedure used in this study to collect relevant data is by using a questionnaire. A total of 170 samples were collected and the method in this study used the purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) and AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure) methods. The results of this study indicate that there is no positive influence between Advertising on Brand Loyalty, there is a positive influence between Public Relations on Brand Loyalty, there is no positive influence between Direct Marketing on Brand Loyalty, there is a positive influence between Sales Promotion on Brand Loyalty.

Abstract

The national economy depends on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Unfortunately, many people face problems with financial management. This can hinder the progress and sustainability of the business. The purpose of this study is to reveal successful financial management methods. To improve the economic independence of micro-entrepreneurs, we use the community service method. We use a comprehensive and in-depth qualitative approach. We explore the meaning thoroughly through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document review. Studies show that collaboration can produce extraordinary results. To achieve this goal, do three things. First, manage finances simply and in a targeted manner. Second, provide financial training. Third, provide intensive assistance. This process significantly increases the effectiveness and efficiency of micro-businesses. This is a practical suggestion for community service institutions. With real support, the growth of small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) can move in a brighter direction.

Abstract

Leaders in a company have an important role in providing encouragement and motivation to their subordinates. Leaders basically have a certain leadership style to influence employees. Motivation provided by leaders within the company is one of the triggers for employees to increase their work productivity. If the motivation provided is lacking, employee productivity at work will also decrease. This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style on the work motivation of PT Indonesia Full Rezeki employees. The population of this study was 80 people and the sample used was 80 respondents (saturated). Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed in the form of Google forms via social media and through literature studies in the form of primary and secondary data. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive research types which include validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, hypothesis testing. The results of this research are that the directive leadership style variable has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, the supportive leadership style has no effect and is not significant on work motivation, the participative leadership style has no effect and is not significant and the achievement-oriented leadership style has no effect and is not significant, overall. simultaneously has a positive and significant effect. The research results from the coefficient of determination test (R^2) show that the leadership style variable explains the variation in work motivation by 65.4% and the remaining 34.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research

Abstract

The promotional mix includes advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relations and direct marketing plays an important role in shaping consumer perception and interest in an event. All of these elements contribute synergistically in influencing consumers' decisions to buy event tickets. This research aims to determine the influence of the promotional mix on the decision to purchase tickets for the Badminton Influencer Tournament event at the Ideal Foundation Medan. This research uses quantitative methods with a simple linear regression test. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. The sampling technique uses probability sampling with the Slovin formula. The independent variables used are advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relations and direct marketing. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear analysis. The data analysis methods in this research are data quality testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear analysis and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 26. The results of this research are that partially sales promotion, public relations and marketing directly influence purchasing decisions, while advertising and sales personality does not influence the decision to visit. Simultaneously advertising, sales promotion, direct sales, public relations and direct marketing influence the decision to visit. Overall promotional mix variables consisting of advertising, sales promotion, personal sales, public relations and marketing directly influence the decision to purchase tickets for the Badminton Influencer Tournament event by 56.7% while the remaining 43.3% can be explained by other factors not examined in this research.

Abstract

Every company needs to pay attention to promotion, price and service quality factors because these three factors determine the attractiveness of the product in the eyes of consumers and directly influence consumers to make purchasing decisions. This research aims to find out how promotion, price and service quality influence the decision to purchase gathering planners at PT Showbitz Mitra Utama. This research is quantitative descriptive research with the data sources used, namely literature study and distributing questionnaires. The sample in this study was 40 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis methods in this research are data quality testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using the SPSS application. The results of the t test in this study show that promotion (X1) partially has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for gathering planners with a t value of 2.618. The t test results show that price (X2) partially has a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase a gathering planner with a t value of 2.473. The t test results also show that service quality (X3) partially has a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase a gathering planner with a t value of 3.625. The results of the F test show that promotion (X1), price (X2) and service quality (X3) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase a gathering planner with a calculated F value of 24.435. The results of Adjusted R Square (R2) show that promotion (X1), price (X2) and service quality (X3) are able to influence gathering planner purchasing decisions by 64.3% and the remaining 35.7% can be explained by factors not researched. in this research.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve early childhood literacy through Calistung (Reading, Writing, and Counting) mentoring using the card method in Kindergarten. The card method is used to help children recognize letters, numbers, and improve reading and writing skills interactively. Mentoring activities are carried out by introducing various letter, number, and picture cards that are in accordance with the material being taught. Mentoring is carried out in a fun way through games and movements that involve the active participation of children. The evaluation results show that children have improved in recognizing letters, numbers, and reading and writing skills. This program has also succeeded in increasing children's motivation to learn in a fun way. With a visual approach and games, children find it easier to understand basic literacy concepts. Mentoring using the card method has proven effective in improving basic literacy skills in early childhood, creating a positive learning atmosphere, and supporting children's cognitive development

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the world's second largest waste producers after China. According to data from the Ministry of Environment, there is a total of 33,320,745.45 tons of waste per year, and 13,640,631.44 tons of waste are unmanaged. Community service activities in Ampera Village aimed to increase public understanding of waste management through education and direct implementation of waste management. This activity involved all residents of Ampera Village, Dusun 1, as well as village officials, pre-test and post-test of knowledge about waste, and a question-and- answer session. The results showed an increase in public knowledge after being educated through lectures and waste management videos, with a better proportion of understanding of waste management. Community and village support is very important for the success of this activity, although there are challenges in participation. Continuous education is expected to further increase awareness of waste management to maintain public.

Abstract

Venue is a place where an event or activity takes place, which has various facilities and physical characteristics that can influence consumer decisions. Layout design is determining the layout design for certain elements in the venue so that it produces attractive and functional visuals. This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of venue and layout design on the decision to purchase event services at CV Muda Art Project Event Organizer. This research is a type of associative research that uses quantitative data. The research sample consisted of 61 people, namely CV Muda Art Project clients from 2017 to 2024. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression with partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous test (F test), and coefficient of determination. The results of this research show that the venue has a positive and partially insignificant influence according to the obtained t-value of (1,709) while the layout design has a positive and significant influence on the decision to purchase services with the obtained t-value of (3,392). Simultaneously the venue and layout design have a significant influence on the decision to purchase services at CV Muda Art Project Event Organizer as evidenced by the F-calculation value of (20,658) and a determination coefficient (R square) of (41.6%), with the remaining (58.4%) explained by other variables not examined.

Abstract

The large number of event organizers in the city of Medan makes competition in this business increasingly tight, this makes event organizers strive to improve the company's reputation and the quality of its services. This research aims to find out whether the company's reputation and service quality influence the decision to select event organizer PT Genindo Pro Indonesia. The population of this study was 43 people and the sample used was 43 respondents (saturated). Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed in the form of Google forms via social media and through literature studies in the form of primary and secondary data. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive research types which include validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, hypothesis testing. The results of this research are (1) the company reputation variable partially influences the selection decision with a t-count value of 2,964, (2) the service quality variable partially influences the selection decision with a t-count value of 3,039, (3) the company reputation and service quality variables simultaneously influence election decisions. The research results from the coefficient of determination test (R2) show that the service and facility quality variables are able to influence selection decisions by 62,3% and the remaining is 37,7% influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
