Abstract

Making the mask functioned as a form of prevention in transmission of the virus, because the virus can be transmitted through the mouth, nose and eyes. The idea of ​​making cloth masks stems from the lack of availability of masks and soaring mask prices in the market. Armed with one of the family members who have expertise in the field of sewing then came the idea to produce their own fabric masks with fabric materials that existed at first and then tried to market them at an appropriate price to optimize revenue in the covid-19 pandemic. fabric mask material used is cotton with a variety of funny motives, in addition to the function of health and aesthetic functions to increase people's interest in wearing cloth masks.

Abstract

Community service this time aims to motivate the community to utilize the house yard into land for family medicinal plants (TOGA). The method used is in the form of counseling and data collection on plants that are usually planted by residents. Counseling is done by lecturing by distributing reading material in the form of material handouts delivered. And data collection is done by discussing with the people who attended the event. The target of this service is the women of recitation in Giri Ayu Village, Giriawas Village, Garut Regency, West Java. The results of this community service are able to understand related to the utilization of family medicinal plants that can be used for prevention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of information literacy on the preparedness of the people of Garut Regency in facing the threat of landslide. The data ini this study are the people of Garut Regency who have been affected by landslides based on the 2010 population census based on gender. The research method uses quantitative patterns in the form of surveys. The results showed that the magnitude of the impact of the ability to identify and find the location of information on public awareness in facing the threat of landslides by 38%. The impact of landslide information literacy can increase the preparedness of the people of Garut Regency by 57%. The conclusion is the impact of information literacy has a significant impact on the preparedness of the people of Garut Regency in facing the threat of landslides.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide counseling and training for residents in Sukamanah Village, Cigalontang District, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java Province, to develop children’s social character through Sundanese cultural values. The method used is to give lectures related to the theory and continued with parenting training through Sundanese cultural values. The results of the evaluation of this activity can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge, attitudes and skills about parenting through the value of Sundanese culture to develop the social character of children. All community members in the area are very enthusiastic and understand about methods to develop children’s social character through Sundanese cultural values after undergoing counseling and training. Counseling and training is carried out well because the majority of people in the place are Sundanese so they can easily apply what they have been trained.

Abstract

An epidemic of an acute respiratory disease called COVID-19 occurred at the end of 2019 in Wuhan (China) which spread throughout the world. COVID -19 can affect everyone from adults, the elderly, and children. So there needs to be education that is easy to carry out about Covid-19 and how to prevent it. This is the basis of the problem in encouraging community service activities so that they can be active in efforts to prevent COVID-19. The purpose of this educational activity is to prevent the spread of Covid-19 which is increasingly happening in Indonesia, so it is hoped that adults and children can take Covid-19 prevention. The method used during this activity is in the form of offline and online education to the surrounding community, where the material presented is in the form of proper handwashing and how to make hand sanitizers. As a result of the educational activities that have been carried out, there has been a significant change in the habits of the surrounding community where children can wash their hands properly and correctly, and for adults, especially local mothers can make hand sanitizers with the right natural ingredients to be used as emergency hand sanitizers. in daily activities.

Abstract

The trend consumption foods of ready to cook and ready to eat is an alternative choice for the community and increasing public awareness about nutrition and health encourages people to live healthier lives by consuming nutritious foods and have a healthy effect. Processing nuggets production of the Tanjung Jati Women's Farmers Group is quite well received by consumers but the processing of this product is still done with simple technology. Improvements or technological touches need to be done so that the resulting nugget products have added value. The current problem causes the economic benefits that should have been obtained from this production activity can not be felt optimally. Community service is carried out in Tanjung Jati Pekon, Kota Agung Timur District, Tanggamus Regency. Activities in the form of counseling, socialization and practice of nugget product processing and packaging techniques are located at the Balai Rakyat Pekon Tanjung Jati, Kota Agung Timur District, Tanggamus District and the time to carry out activities in January 2020. The nugget training procedures include: a preliminary survey, counseling for the development of nugget product processing for Wanita Tani Pekom Tanjung Jati, socialization of the regulations of the head of the Indonesian drug and food regulatory body regarding packaging and labeling, technical guidance on processing and packaging of nuggets, and technical guidance on business plans and marketing of nuggets. The results of the activities showed the average value of the initial and final evaluation scores of the trainees was 34.77 and 82.50. If viewed from the increase in the score, it appears that an increase in score of 47.8 points. This shows that the training activities went quite well. The training activities were able to motivate the Tanjung Jati Pekon Women Farmers Group in Tanggamus Regency to develop the region's businesses. Advice from the training activities of making and packaging nuggets require further assistance to develop various local resource-based businesses

Abstract

Abstract Covid-19 has been declared a pandemic that has spread to almost all countries in the world. One of the recommended precautions is washing hands with soap, because the Covid Virus can last a long time sticking to objects. Children are vulnerable to contracting Covid-19, children are individuals who are actively moving and need assistance when playing in a pandemic situation so they are not infected. This community service activity aims to increase students' knowledge and understanding of washing hands with soap to cut the spread of the virus and other diseases. The activity was carried out with live demonstrations and the distribution of educational videos on WHO's 6 steps hand washing method. The target of the activity was 30 students of SDN Cimanganten I. The analysis was carried out on the understanding questionnaire before and after education with a pair of T test assisted by SPSS software and a significance result of 0.000 was obtained which indicated that there was a significant effect on hand washing education (6 WHO steps) on the understanding of SDN Cimanganten I students. Keywords: Hand washing, Covid-19, Education. Abstrak Covid-19 telah ditetapkan sebagai pandemik yang telah menyebar hampir ke seluruh negara di dunia . Salah satu pencegahan yang direkomendasikan adalah mencuci tangan dengan sabun, karena Virus Covid dapat bertahan lama menempel pada benda. Anak-anak termasuk rentan tertular Covid-19, anak-anak merupakan individu yang aktif bergerak dan memerlukan pendampingan saat bermain di situasi pandemi supaya tidak tertular.Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap cuci tangan pakai sabun agar memutus penyebaran virus dan penyakit lainnya. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan demonstrasi langsung dan penyebaran video edukasi cara cuci tangan 6 langkah WHO. Sasaran kegiatan adalah siswa SDN Cimanganten I sebanyak 30 orang. Analisa dilakukan terhadap kuisioner pemahaman sebelum dan sesudah edukasi dengan pair T test yang dibantu software SPSS dan diperoleh hasil signifikansi 0,000 yang menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang bermakna edukasi mencuci tangan (6 langkah WHO) yang dilakukan terhadap pemahaman siswa SDN Cimanganten I. Kata Kunci: Cuci tangan, Covid-19, Edukasi.

Abstract

At the end of 2019 to the beginning of 2020 the world experienced an extraordinary event, especially in the health sector, in the form of a viral pandemic that attacked globally. This virus is thought to have first appeared in China, precisely in the city of Wuhan, and is thought to have originated from fish and animal markets in the area. At the beginning of its appearance, WHO temporarily named it as 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), then WHO announced a new name, namely Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) which is caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV2) virus. This is the basis of the problem in encouraging community service activities so that they can actively participate in efforts to prevent COVID-19. The purpose of this online learning spirit development activity is to prevent the spread of Covid-19 which is increasingly happening in Indonesia, so that students can learn well. The method used during this activity is in the form of directly assisting the student learning process by complying with health protocols and assisting online learning. As a result of the learning assistance activities, there has been a significant change from the habits of the surrounding community where stundest are more enthusiastic about learning and no confusion in doing assignments online.

Abstract

This time, this community service aims to anticipate and educate the public regarding the COVID-19 outbreak which is currently attacking the entire world. The method used is in the form of counseling and data collection of people affected and not affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Programs that are carried out online as well as giving PPE directly. Data collection is carried out by discussing the village head and staff in the village. The target of this service is the Tarogong Village Community, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency, West Java. The result of this service, the community understands and understands what to pay attention to to overcome the COVID-19 outbreak and how to anticipate the COVID-19 outbreak.

Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic is a global problem that affects various sectors of life and the Republic of Indonesia's Government has implemented a New Habit Adaptation program. Penyak Village is one of the villages in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, where most people work as fishermen and farmers. It causes the majority of the community to work from outside the home. One of the activity programs of Universitas Bangka Belitung in response to COVID-19 is the implementation of KKN-Thematic to focus on efforts to prevent COVID-19. For Penyak Village, the KKN-Thematic program is carried out in several stages such as (i) preparation, (ii) preparing equipment to be given to the community, (iii) making video tutorials for making hand-sanitizers and masks, (iv) distributing health protocol equipment and counseling, and (v) evaluation. From the results, most community and village officials respond well to the activities that have been carried out.
