Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Moyo Village, Moyo Hilir sub-District in order to increase the Village Own Source Revenue of Moyo Village, Moyo Hilir sub-District. The type of this study was qualitative study. The data used were primary and secondary data. The informants in this study were the Village Head, BUMDes Manager and the communities of Moyo Village. The method used to collect data were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis tool used was the theory of Miles and Huberman which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of study showed that the management had been done by Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Moyo Village, Moyo Hilir sub-District was in accordance with the provisions set by the village government. In its implementation, the BUMDes in Moyo Village, had implemented management strategy aspects, such as planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. The management of BUMDes in Moyo Village, which is carried out by administrators by involving the government and village communities directly in every management activity, starting from planning, organizing, actuating and controlling, is expected to be able to encourage the community's economy so that can increase community income and contribute to increasing Village Own Source Revenue (PADes).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of customer knowledge on customer decisions in using Fast Secured Credit (KCA) products at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Sumbawa Besar Branch. The type of this study was associative. The type of data used was quantitative obtained directly from primary sources, namely respondents totaling 57 customers. Data collection uses research instruments in the form of questionnaires. The data collection technique used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t test), and determinant coefficient testing (R2). The results of this study showed that the customer knowledge had a positive and significant effect on customer decisions in using Fast Secured Credit (KCA) products at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Sumbawa Besar Branch. The ability of customer knowledge variables on customer decision variables in using KCA products at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Sumbawa Besar Branch was 7.6%, while the remaining of 92.4% was affected by other variables outside this research model, such as marketing mix factors and socio-cultural environmental factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategic role of the agricultural sector in increasing income as an effort to alleviate poverty in rural communities. The type of this study was associative. The type of data used was quantitative obtained directly from primary sources, namely respondents totaling 94 rice farmers in Kakiang Village. Data collection uses research instruments in the form of questionnaires. The data collection technique used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t test), and determinant coefficient testing (R2). The results of this study showed that the farming income had a negative and significant effect on poverty levels in rural communities in Sumbawa District. The ability of farming income to effect the poverty level in Sumbawa District was 10.5%, while the remaining of 89.5% was effected by other variables outside this study model, such as economic growth, human development index, and open unemployment rate.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of Seketeng traditional market management in Sumbawa Besar to increasing customer satisfaction. The type of this study was descriptive study with qualitative approach. The type of data used was qualitative data obtained from primary sources using research instruments in the form of interview guidelines. The informants in this study consisted of bureaucrats from government agencies/ institutions/ agencies in Sumbawa District, academics, traders, and customers at the Seketeng traditional market, Sumbawa Besar. The data analysis technique used was analysis hierarchy process (AHP), which measures the consistency level of the strategy of Seketeng traditional market management in Sumbawa Besar to increasing customer satisfaction. The results of this study showed that the revitalization of market facilities and infrastructure had the highest level of importance compared to other alternative criteria, so that it becomes a priority strategy for managing the Seketeng traditional market ini Sumbawa Besar to increasing consumer satisfaction. Therefore, the market revitalization program must be carried out optimally to improve the physical conditions and spatial layout of the Seketeng traditional market in Sumbawa Besar so as to increase consumer satisfaction. That was followed by other alternative criteria in sequence according to their level of importance, namely strengthening market management, establishing regional rules or regulations, market expansion, and strengthening trader capital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and contribution of regional taxes on district own source revenue of Sumbawa District in 2012-2021. The type of this study was descriptif with a quantitative approach. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained from secondary sources in the form of annual reports, documents and archives that have been published by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sumbawa District. Data collection in this study used documentation techniques. Data analysis in this study used Effectiveness and Contribution Analysis Techniques. The results of this study showed that the realization of regional tax revenue of Sumbawa District in 2012-2021 experienced fluctuating growth, but in general the performance of regional tax revenue of Sumbawa District over the last ten years was in the very effective category. These results showed that the regional government of Sumbawa District had very good capabilities in managing regional taxes so that the entire potential of the tax sector in the region can be optimized as a source of regional revenue. The contribution of regional tax on district own source revenue of Sumbawa District in 2012-2021 experienced fluctuating growth, but in general the contribution of regional taxes of Sumbawa District over the last ten years was in the medium category. These results showed that regional revenues from the tax sector have not been able to make a significant contribution to increasing district own source revenue (PAD) of Sumbawa District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of poverty rate in Sumbawa District, which in this study was thought to be influenced by the open unemployment rates, minimum wages and GRDP, either partially or simultaneously. The type of this study was associative. The type of data used was quantitative obtained from secondary sources through annual reports, documents and archives collected and published by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sumbawa District regarding the open unemployment rate, minimum wage, GRDP and poverty level in Sumbawa Regency in 2010-2021. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test), and determinant coefficient testing (R2). The results of this study showed that in partially the open unemployment rate had a positive and significant effect on the poverty rate in Sumbawa District, and GRDP had a negative and significant effect on the poverty rate in Sumbawa District, but the minimum wage had no significant effect on the poverty rate in Sumbawa District. Meanwhile in simultaneously, the open unemployment rate, minimum wage and GRDP had a significant effect on the poverty rate in Sumbawa District. The ability of the open unemployment rate, minimum wage and GRDP variables to influenced the poverty rate in Sumbawa District was 94.8%, while the remaining of 5.2% was influenced by other variables outside this study model, such as education and health factors, economic growth and human development index.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementation the Family Hope Program (PKH) on improving the welfare of very poor households in Sumbawa District. The type of this study was associative study. The type of data used was quantitative data obtained directly from primary sources, namely the PKH recipient community in Sumbawa District who were the respondents. The number of samples that will be used as respondents for this study was 68 people who were determined using probability sampling techniques with a simple random sampling method. The primary data used in this study was collected using a questionnaire as an instrument which was measured using a Likert Scale with four alternative answers provided. All of data was processed using the SPSS program to be analyzed and interpreted using simple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t test), and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of this study showed that the implementation of Family Hope Program (PKH) had positive and significant effect on the welfare of very poor households in Sumbawa District. The ability of the Family Hope Program (PKH) implementation variable to effect the welfare of very poor households (RTSM) in Sumbawa District was 63.6%, while the remaining of 36.4% was influenced by other variables outside this study model, such as open unemployment, per capita expenditure, and GRDP.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness and contribution of market retribution to regional retribution revenues in Sumbawa District. The type of this study was descriptif with a quantitative approach. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained from secondary sources in the form of books, journals and reports contained in the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Sumbawa District. The data collected in this study was analyzed using effectiveness, growth rate and contribution analysis techniques. The results of this study showed that 1) in general, the ratio of market retribution revenue in Sumbawa District for 2017-2021 was in the quite effective category. 2) in general, the growth rate ratio of regional retribution revenue in Sumbawa District for 2017-2021 was in the less successful category. and 3) in general, the ratio of contribution from market retribution to regional retribution in Sumbawa District for 2017-2021 was in the very good category. Therefore, optimal efforts are needed from the regional government to explore all the potential that exists in the market so that the results of collecting market retributions can be in accordance with the targets that have been set. The regional government is expected to be able to collect data on potential retribution in Sumbawa District so that the potential resulting from collecting regional retribution will be maximized and in line with the targets that have been set.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in people's income in Sumbawa Besar City before and after the existence of Genang Genis Park Sumbawa Besar. The type of this study was comparative study. The type of data used was quantitative data obtained directly from research sources, namely traders at the Genang Genis Park Sumbawa Besar. The number of traders at Genang Genis Park Sumbawa Besar who were sources for this study was 20 people. Data collection in this study used structured interview techniques with interview guidelines. Data analysis in this study used the two-average difference test technique. The results of study showed that there is a positive and significant difference in the level of income of traders before and after the existence of Genang Genis Park Sumbawa Besar. Traders' income experienced a significant increase after the existence of Genang Genis Park Sumbawa Besar compared to previous income. Thus, it can be stated that the existence of Genang Genis Park Sumbawa Besar had a big impact on increasing the income earned by traders in Sumbawa Besar City.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of investment and labor in increasing the rate of economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2012-2021. The type of this study was associative study. The type of data used was quantitative in the form of GDP, investment and labor data for West Nusa Tenggara Province obtained from existing sources in the form of archives or documents that had been compiled and published by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Nusa Tenggara Province. In this study, researchers use documentation techniques to collect data from secondary sources. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test), and determinant coefficient testing (R2). The results of this study showed that investment and labor had a positive and significant effect on economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara Province, both partially and simultaneously. The ability of investment and labor to effected economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara Province was 67%, while the remaining of 33% was effected by other variables outside this study model, such as human capital, capital expenditure, and labor force participation rate.
