Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the form of teaching materials for fractional calculating operations on multimedia assisted of mathematics learning to improve students' mathematical understanding skills in inclusive schools. Mathematical understanding is all forms of thought processes taken in forming the structure of knowledge. Indicators of mathematical understanding used in this study are students can distinguish the material that has been studied with the previous material, students can formulate how the material has been learned, students can deduce what material has been learned, and students can solve mathematical problems in everyday life relating to the material he has learned. Students in inclusive schools are more diverse than the common school so that teachers need to brainwave how to make classroom learning more interesting. Multimedia learning can be the solution to these problems.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze junior high school students error in solving mathematics test on fraction using Makhubele, Nkhoma, and Lunetas error category. This research was conducted by giving individual written test (three question) in the fraction material. Participants in this study were 5 junior high school students who had studied fraction material in their school. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that students in number 1 had 2 students who did err1 (slip) and 1 student who did err2 (conceptual error), in number 2 there was 1 student who did err3 (procedural error), and in number 3 there is 1 person who did err2 and 1 person who did err1.

Abstract

This study aims to examine differences between the mastery of physics concepts taught learners through information communication technology based learning and learners are taught through the study of laboratory experiments based learning. The study population was a class X SMA Negeri 4 Kupang, which is in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013. This type of research is quasiexperimental with pretest-posttest design with nonequivalent groups of two experimental classes treated with information communications technology based learning and laboratory experiments based learning and a control class that was treated with conventional learning. Data were collected through a written test and analyzed using independent samples t test using SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The results showed that there is a difference between the mean mastery of physics concepts taught learners through information communication technology based learning and learners are taught through the study of laboratory-based experiments. The mean mastery of physics concepts taught learners through information communication technology based learning higher than students taught through the study of laboratory experiments based learning.

Abstract

One important factor in the education system is assessment. Educational assessment must have clear and operational standards. Education assessment standards in Indonesia are regulated in Permendikbud Number 23 of 2016 consisting of 8 chapters and 15 articles. The purpose of this study is to analyze the criteria in the educational assessment standards in Indonesia. This research uses a literature study method with technical analysis in the form of content analysis. The results showed that the standard of education assessment in Indonesia has included clear criteria in the assessment. Assessment criteria include the scope, objectives, benefits, principles, mechanisms, procedures, and instruments of assessment of student learning outcomes. These criteria serve as guidelines in assessments conducted by educators, education units, and the government.

Abstract

Kemampuan Bahasa Indonesia lisan, kreativitas, dan keterampilan sosial masih menjadi kerisauan guru pada siswa kelas EY 3B. Hal ini mendorong guru untuk melakukan refleksi dan mencari alternatif solusi untuk melakukan tindakan perbaikan melalui pembacaan cerita bergambar.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan pembacaan cerita bergambar, menganalisis perkembangan kemampuan Bahasa Indonesia lisan, kreativitas, dan keterampilan sosial anak serta mengidentifikasi kendala-kendala yang dihadapi saat penerapan pembacaan cerita bergambar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 siklus dan pada setiap siklus dilakukan pengumpulan data. Data diolah dan dianalisis secara kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembacaan cerita bergambar telah dilakukan sesuai dengan proses penerapan dan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan anak dalam berbahasa Indonesia lisan, kreativitas, dan keterampilan sosial.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of thematic learning model and finding its implications to building basic capability for students with special needs. This descriptive research used a qualitative approach and the data collection technique in this research applied purposive sampling. This research on the first stage conducts a descriptive analysis of the data which is obtained from Special School Tegar Harapan, Yogyakarta, then on the second stage refers to analysis discussion towards the results on first stage using Philosophy of Education theory capability approach. The result of this research is that the thematic learning model could become an academic methodology in learning by the students in Special School Tegar Harapan. The thematic learning model also contributes to building basic capability for students in Special School Tegar Harapan, especially on a high education level. The application of model thematic learning for students Special School Tegar Harapan which has various special needs conditions can build basic capability for students according to their interests, potentials, and capabilities. The application of model thematic learning for children with special needs becomes a realization of educational philosophy in the field of special education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat minat membaca siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII D SMP Neggeri 5 Muaro Jambi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu jenis penelitian survei dengan instrumen penelitian berupa angket. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII A dan VIII D SMP Negeri 5 Muaro Jambi, dengan jumlah total subjek penelitian sebanyak 50 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis uji asumsi dan uji hipotesis (uji-T). Sebelum dilakukan uji-T, peneliti telah melakukan uji asumsi berupa uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas sebagai pra syarat untuk melakukan uji selanjutnya, pada uji-T  hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas VIII A memiliki tingkat minat membaca yang lebih baik dari pada kelas VIII D, dimana hasil nilai mean yaitu 62,04 dan 66,82 untuk kelas VIII D, standar deviasi kelas VIII A lebih kecil dari nilai standar deviasi kelass VIII D yaitu 3,305 4,667. Hal ini lah yang menjadi tolak ukur perhitungan di dapatkannya hasil penelitian tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa minat membaca kelas VIII A lebih baik dari kelas VIII D.

Abstract

Logic is an analysis of methods of thinking. Logic emphasizes the form more than the content of  arguments. mathematical logic is often also called the symbolic-logic is a part of mathematics that explores the application of formal logic to mathematics. This has a close relationship with the basic fundamental thinking of mathematics and theoretical computer science.In this research we do three important things, the first is conventional symbolic-logic training for SLB Negeri 1 Bantul. The second step is making of symbolic-logic learning application for deaf students called DUTAlogic and the third is seeing the comparison between conventional learning and learning using the DUTAlogic.Based on data analysis that was done. Thar result show that increase in symbolic logic ability (T) is 50%, increase in the ability of symbolic natural accuracy (N) is 50%. The used of DUTAlogic application is more attractive to deaf students because they feel happier, easier, more-understanding, more concentrated and more creative when doing symbolic-logic learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan mengajar harus memiliki teknik, model, dan strategi pembelajaran agar pembelajaran lebih bermakna dan dapat mencapai tujuan yang akan dicapai. Hasil pembelajaran ITL tidak maksimal disebabkan oleh penerapan strategi atau model pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai. Sehingga perlu upaya peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia siswa SMK TITL, salah satunya kurangnya kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui signifikansi perbedaan HOTS Instalasi Tenaga Listrik karena penerapan model CBL yang dipadu dengan MS dan PBL yang dipadu dengan MS pada kelas XI TITL SMKN 1 Singosari. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan pre-test post-test design. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Challenge Based Learning yang dipadu dengan MS dan PBL yang dipadu dengan MS. Variabel terikat yang digunakan adalah Hasil HOTS subjek penelitian siswa SMKN 1 Singosari kelas XI TITL A 34 siswa dan TITL B sebanyak 35 siswa. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa hasil HOTS instalasi motor listrik memperoleh nilai 0,026. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut diartikan terdapat signifikan perbedaan dari penerapan kedua model yang dipadu strategi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the revitalization of values of Javanese culture in schools-based culture in Bantul regency, Yogyakarta. Research used qualitative research method with subject of principal, teacher, officer, and student of SMP Negeri 3 Banguntapan Bantul. Data collection technique was done by interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive analysis techniques consist of data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification. The results show  that the revitalization of moral values of Javanese culture was done by Petruk strategy (modeling, empowering, teaching, reinforcing, unique, and comprehensive). Schools develop school culture by display of various artifacts and initiating familiar relationships. The culture laboratories built to introduce tools and instruments of Javanese culture. The management of school principal implementing values of leadership satriya (brave), prasaja (simple), setya budya (goodness), and lila (sincerity).
