Abstract

Emotional distress is an individual's reaction when facing stressors (Bogoroch in deva & sofia 2014). describes emotional distress as mental or psychological trauma caused by tortious or non-tortious behaviour. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of emotional distress in students of SMAN 1 Babelan Bekasi. This study uses quantitative research methods with the type of correlation test research, validity and reliability to see if there are characteristics of emotional distress in students of SMAN 1 Babelan Bekasi. According to a researcher named (Kamaruddin, 2017) the research population is an area that includes objects or subjects that have certain quantities and characteristics and these conditions are determined by the researcher himself. In this study, the population to be studied is active students of SMAN 1 Babelan Bekasi with a minimum of 150 participants. This study involved students of SMAN 1 Babelan Bekasi who had an age of 15-18 years consisting of 75 women and 75 men. The sampling technique used by researchers is probability sampling with purposive sampling technique because this research focuses on determining the sample based on the researcher's consideration. Based on research conducted by researchers, it was concluded that a total of 268 students or participants with a presentation of 87 men and 181 women in class XII or at the final level at SMAN 1 Babelan experienced relatively low stress. So it can be concluded that the level of emotional distress in class XII at SMAN X Bekasi Regency is in the low category so that students have high awareness.

Abstract

The quality of the wireless LAN network at SD Negeri 014 Sangasanga is suboptimal, particularly during the implementation of the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK). This condition leads to network overload and decreased performance, which disrupts the smooth execution of ANBK. This study aims to analyze network performance using Quality of Service (QoS) and Reliability, Maintainability, Availability (RMA) methods, focusing on throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter parameters. Measurements were conducted using Wireshark and PRTG tools during ANBK sessions. The research method involves collecting network performance data under actual conditions. The results show that the throughput parameter is in the poor category, averaging 1,200 Kbps, with a peak value of 3,056 Kbps and a low of 10 Kbps. Packet loss demonstrated excellent performance with 0% recorded across all sessions. The average delay reached 46 ms, ranging from 2.7 ms to 430 ms, mostly meeting TIPHON standards. Jitter averaged 28.4 ms, with stable results despite occasional spikes in certain sessions. The findings highlight the need for better network management to support stable ANBK implementation. Recommendations include improving network infrastructure with more reliable devices and applying efficient bandwidth management techniques to ensure stable network performance during ANBK sessions.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop learning media in the form of flipbooks and test their feasibility, practicality, and readability on the material of the Walisongo Exemplary Stories at MTs Negeri 1 Jombang. This study uses the Research and Development (R & D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The study was conducted in November 2024 with its feasibility first tested by 1 material expert lecturer, 1 media expert lecturer, and grade IX students. Data were collected through interviews and assessment questionnaires from experts, teachers, and students. The results of the study revealed that the flipbook media provided significant results obtaining a score of 86% from material validation and 83% from media validation, both in the "Very Feasible" category. After validation by material experts and media experts, the flipbook was then tested on a small and large scale. The readability test on a small scale for teachers reached 89% and students 83%, both in the "Very Good" category. Meanwhile, the small-scale practicality test on teachers obtained 91% and students 83%, so it was categorized as "Practical." The large-scale test showed a readability of 83% ("Very Good") and practicality of 84% ("Practical"). Based on these results, flipbook-based learning media are declared feasible and practical to use at MTs Negeri 1 Jombang.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed various aspects of life, including zakat management. This study aims to analyze the awareness and participation of urban Muslim communities in digital zakat as well as the challenges faced. Using descriptive qualitative method, this research involved 50 respondents in Palangka Raya through interview, observation, and documentation. The results show that the majority of respondents understand the benefits of digital zakat which is more practical than conventional methods. However, there are still doubts regarding the validity of Islamic law, transparency, and transaction security. The habit factor and limited digital literacy are also the main obstacles. Therefore, wider socialization, security system improvement, and transparency in digital zakat management are needed. With this effort, digital zakat is expected to be more accepted and optimized as a modern solution in the collection and distribution of zakat.

Abstract

Tambo plays a crucial role in the governance system of nagari in West Sumatra; however, modernization and government policies have influenced its sustainability. This study aims to analyze the role of Tambo Alam Pauh Duo and Surambi Sungai Pagu in the establishment of nagari in Solok Selatan Regency and the factors affecting their continuity. Using a qualitative approach with historical ethnographic methods, this research involves in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, community figures, and local government representatives, as well as an analysis of historical documents and relevant regulations. The findings reveal that tambo serves four primary functions: as a marker of cultural identity, a basis for territorial legitimacy, a governance guideline for nagari administration, and a tool for social harmonization. Community participation, customary documentation, government regulations, and globalization play significant roles in shaping the sustainability of the nagari governance system. The main challenges identified include the impact of modernization, which shifts the role of customary traditions in governance, and the weakening of customary documentation, threatening the continuity of traditional values. Therefore, a collaborative effort between indigenous communities and the government is essential to maintaining a balance between tradition and contemporary changes. The digitization of tambo and the strengthening of regulations that accommodate customary values are strategic steps to ensure the relevance and sustainability of nagari governance in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to design an ICT-based Interactive Learning media that can improve students' understanding of learning concepts in Fiqh material and can improve the quality of learning for teachers. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) research. The development model used in this research is ADDIE including: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The appointed validators will assess the material aspects and media aspects where there are 2 media validators and 2 material validators. This research was conducted at MTs. Ma'arif NU Kedungkendo. The subjects of this study were students from class VIII. Data collection using media validation sheets, material validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of research on the development of ICT-based Interactive Learning learning media on Fiqh material produced obtained results after going through the revision and validation stage with an average score of 85% on material validation and media validation obtained an average score of 87% so that the learning media was declared very relevant and feasible to use. The student response test stage to the feasibility of learning media obtained an average score of 90% with very attractive criteria. This shows that ICT-based Interactive Learning media can be applied in the classroom and allows it to increase students' understanding of learning concepts in Fiqh material.

Abstract

This study explores the values ​​of peaceful character in the sureq I La Galigo episode Mula Rioluna Batara Guru which aims to identify and analyze the values ​​of To Ugi's peaceful character contained in the sureq I La Galigo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a Wilhelm Dilthey hermeneutic approach, by interpreting the script (sureq) based on experience, expression, and understanding of Bugis culture. The results of the reserch show that the values ​​of To Ugi's peaceful character in the sureq La Galigo episode Mula Rioluna Batara Guru include, a good heart, caution and alertness to avoid danger, the appropriateness of speech and actions 'adanagau' or conformity and action, not arrogant or humble, thinking before acting, togetherness (mutual cooperation), honesty and true words (lempu sibawa ada tongeng), loyalty (solidarity), friendship, and responsibility and affection which are integral parts in building a harmonious and peaceful social life. In the midst of the development of the era that brings moral challenges to the younger generation, understanding local cultural values ​​is important as a foundation for peaceful character education. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of integrating peaceful character values ​​in learning and social life to form individuals who are moral and have peaceful characters.

Abstract

The research question addressed in this study is: Does the peer lesson strategy influence the learning of nahwu (Arabic grammar) in the eighth-grade class at Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyah Islamiyah Kamang Mudik, Agam? This study aims to assess students' abilities in learning nahwu prior to the implementation of the peer lesson strategy, to explain the strategy's implementation, and to evaluate its impact on improving learning outcomes. This research employs a quantitative field method using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design model. Data collection methods include observation, testing, and documentation. Hypothesis testing was conducted using SPSS version 26. The first finding reveals that students’ initial nahwu skills were weak (da'if), with average scores of 51.76 in the control group and 48.23 in the experimental group. The second finding shows that the peer lesson strategy was implemented in three phases: introduction, main activity, and conclusion—with a good overall rating. After the strategy was applied, the control group’s average increased to 61.17 (still da'if), while the experimental group’s average rose significantly to 81.76, rated as good. Hypothesis testing yielded a value of 11.191 with a 2-tailed significance level of 0.05, indicating a statistically significant effect of the peer lesson strategy on nahwu learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of Islamic Religious Education teachers towards the use of animated videos in facilitating the understanding of the values ​​of responsibility in Islamic Religious Education subjects at MTs Darussalam Ngoro Jombang. Descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews and non-participant observation, where researchers are not directly involved in the activities observed. The research sample consisted of the principal and four Islamic Religious Education teachers. The subjects of this study were Islamic Religious Education teachers. In addition, this study also aims to determine the perception of Islamic Religious Education teachers towards the use of animated videos in facilitating and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in using animated videos as a medium to teach the values ​​of responsibility in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The results of the study indicate that animated videos are considered an effective medium in facilitating students' understanding of the values ​​of responsibility. The main supporting factors are the visual appeal and storyline presented by animated videos, which increase student motivation and involvement in learning. However, limited access to technology and teacher skills in operating devices are significant inhibiting factors.

Abstract

This paper explores the application of the Modified New Iterative Method (MNIM) for solving linear fractional-order delay differential equations (FDDEs). The method is assessed through illustrative example, showcasing its effectiveness in producing accurate approximations for linear case, particularly when the fractional order approaches an integer. MNIM demonstrates strong performance in solving equations of integer and near-integer fractional order. However, the accuracy declines as the fractional order moves further from an integer, especially over larger intervals. MNIM remains a powerful and adaptable method for handling a broad spectrum of fractional differential equations involving delays.
