Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the PAIKEM GEMBROT learning model on improving student learning outcomes in geography subjects at SMA N 1 Koto Baru, Dharmasraya Regency. This type of research is quantitative, quasi-experimental method. The research design used was Pretest-Pottest Control Group Design. With the research sample, namely class XI IPS I as the experimental class and class XI IPS 2 as the control class. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 60 people. Based on the results of this research, the learning outcomes of the experimental class were higher than the control class. This can be seen from the average value of the experimental class of 86.78, while in the control class the result was 72.78. The t-test results were t count (6.807) < t table (1.672). So, H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. This shows that there is an influence of the PAIKEM GEMBROT learning model on student learning outcomes in class XI IPS geography subjects at SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya Regency.

Abstract

Educational institutions are an essential forum for producing young people who are better than the current generation through character education. A golden generation can be obtained by implementing character education through attitudes and habits. This research uses a qualitative description method to analyze how character education is instilled at SMP IT AT TAQWA. In this research, there were respondents from mrs. Menik as deputy head of public relations and student affairs with whom we received information for writing this article. To collect information, researchers conducted in-depth interviews and observations. The in-depth interview aims to find out opinions and how to instill character education in students. Observations were carried out to collect information about the cultivation of character education at SMP IT AT TAQWA. This educational institution implements character education through competencies (attitudes) and habits by carrying out various activities that are rarely available in other educational institutions. Competence (attitude) is applied through discipline, one of which is before entering class by using fingerprints. Then the habit is to perform the Dhuha prayer before learning begins. And through the implementation of paperless, without a bell and other independent activities. The implementation of character education at AT TAQWA IT Middle School should be appreciated, by upholding discipline, good habits leading to religion and also upholding honesty.

Abstract

Teaching materials play an important role in forming active and enjoyable learning. Therefore, the formation of teaching materials should be aligned with the learning model that will be used. This research aims to identify students' needs for problem based learning LKPD as teaching materials in learning activities. The method used in this research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative and qualitative approach. The data collection technique was through interviews with 2 chemistry teachers in Class X Phase E of SMA and distributing questionnaires to 55 students in Class X Phase E of SMA. The results of the interviews showed that teachers had never used problem based learning LKPD in learning activities. Apart from that, student learning outcomes are still low because students have difficulty understanding the learning material. The research results can be concluded that; 1) One of the teaching materials used by teachers in learning atomic structure is LKPD; 2) As many as 38% of students stated that the teaching materials used were not able to help them understand the material, as many as 95% of students were interested in using LKPD based on problem based learning; 3) Teaching materials in the form of LKPD based on problem based learning on atomic structure material need to be developed to support and maximize the learning process, as well as optimize learning activities.

Abstract

Leadership is an important aspect in various areas of life, a deeper understanding of how individual characteristics contribute to the emergence of effective leaders can help in the development of better leaders in the future. This article aims to analyze various leader theories that have been developed by leadership experts in the context of the development of individual characteristics. The method used in this research is library research. This data was collected using documentation techniques from scientific journal articles that have been published online and books that match the theme. This article explores classical and contemporary theories of leadership, such as Great Man theory, situational leadership theory, charismatic leadership theory, and transformational leadership theory. We also conduct a critical analysis of these theories, focusing on how they link the development of individual characteristics to a person's ability to be an effective leader. Through a better understanding of the correlation between individual factors and leadership, we hope this article can provide deeper insight into how leaders are born and develop.

Abstract

The use of learning media is a learning strategy that must be mastered by teachers, especially interactive learning media. But in reality there are still many teachers who have not mastered interactive learning media so that it has an impact on student learning activities such as learning activeness. The research method is quantitative experiment with questionnaire distribution techniques on a sample of 32 respondents, data analysis techniques using the help of the SPPS 26 program. The results of the research on the T test show that 0.001 <0.05 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then the effectiveness test shows that the value of R < 1 (0.72) < 1. Based on the results of these tests, it can be concluded that Quizizz learning media is effective in increasing the activeness of PAI learning class XII at SMAN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the application of letter card learning media to improve the understanding of first grade elementary school students. This research aims (1) To find out how teachers design letter card game media in PAI learning materials, let's get to know the hijaiyah letters for class 1 B students at Khaira Ummah Islamic Elementary School in Padang. (2) To find out how teachers apply letter card game media to PAI learning materials, let's get to know the Hijaiyah letters for class 1 B students at Khaira Ummah Islamic Elementary School, Padang. (3) To find out the advantages and disadvantages of using letter card game media to improve students' understanding of PAI learning material, let's get to know the Hijaiyah Letters for class 1 B students at Khaira Ummah Islamic Elementary School, Padang. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, the research object is class 1 B students of Khaira Ummah Islamic Elementary School in Padang and the research subject is students' understanding of learning. Then data was obtained from observation, interviews with informants, and documentation to see existing phenomena. The research results showed that first, the teacher designed card media using simple and affordable materials. Second, in the implementation process the teacher explains the learning material using the play while learning method, following the educational standards and curriculum that apply in the school. Third, the advantages and disadvantages of card game learning media are that children really like this media. And the downside is that students have their own way of learning so there are students who experience boredom while studying.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the distribution of restaurant facilities and distance to tourist attractions and the accessibility index of restaurant facilities to tourist attractions in Mandeh Tourism Area, Koto XI Tarusan District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The data analysis technique used in this study is a quantitative distance analysis technique using the accessibility index formula. The results showed that 1) The distribution of restaurant facilities and distance to tourist objects obtained as many as 33 distribution of restaurant facilities consisting of 13 traditional and modern restaurants, 8 fast food restaurants and 12 classified as cafes, and there are 30 tourist objects which are divided into 10 natural attractions and 20 marine attractions in the mandeh tourist area. 2) The accessibility index of restaurants to tourist objects has 5 categories, namely a very high accessibility index consisting of 17 restaurant facilities, a high accessibility index consisting of 10 restaurant facilities, a medium accessibility index consisting of 2 restaurant facilities, a low accessibility index consisting of 3 restaurant facilities and a very low accessibility index consisting of 1 restaurant facility. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the accessibility of restaurant facilities to tourist attractions in the Mandeh Tourism Area, Koto XI Tarusan District is included in the very high category or easy to reach by tourists.

Abstract

This learning practice is motivated by the need for critical thinking skills in students, an aspect that is increasingly crucial in the 21st century era. The factors that cause this are students' lack of habit in solving analysis questions, especially those in the HOTS category and the low learning outcomes are the learning process itself. Through PBL, it is hoped that this learning practice can make a positive contribution in improving the quality of students' science learning outcomes, especially in facing the challenges of HOTS questions. The method used in this research is a Problem-based learning (PBL) model which requires a series of steps that focus on active and collaborative learning experiences. First of all, the step of orienting students to the problem becomes the starting point in the PBL model, next, the step of organizing students to learn to bring collaborative concepts into PBL, the third step involves guiding investigations, both individually and in groups, the fourth and fifth steps, namely developing and presenting the results of work, as well as analyzing and evaluating the problem solving process, confirms that PBL. The research results prove that there is an increase in posttest results compared to the pretest. This increase can be seen from the increase in the average score of students from 53.25 at pretest to 84.75 and the percentage of student learning completion which was initially 32% to 92%. Apart from that, students felt that they were given space to work in groups and develop an attitude of mutual cooperation which, based on the questionnaire, was 96%. Overall, the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the support of modules and electronic Student Worksheets (LKPD) has had a positive impact on science learning at the junior high school level. This research succeeded in improving students' analytical skills regarding ecosystem interactions, significantly improving student learning outcomes, and developing critical thinking skills and collaborative attitudes.

Abstract

There are several studies that examine the phenomenon of Paguyuban Sumarah beliefs. However, the various studies have only touched on issues such as motivation, influence, and the epistemology of the practice of the Sumarah mystical teachings. There is one aspect that is no less important and has not yet come to the attention of researchers, namely with regard to the spiritual experience by the founder of the teaching. This research aims to discuss Mr Sukino's spiritual experience using the religious experience approach of William James' perspective. The type of research used is field research using the descriptive-analytical analysis method. The result of this research is that there is a correspondence between William James' theory of religious experience and the spiritual experience experienced by Mr Sukino in affirming three things that become the validity of the experience, namely, direct understanding, philosophical validity and moral usefulness. The implications of research that uses William James' theory of religious experience to read a person's spiritual experience can make a benchmark for those who want to determine whether the religious experience really happened or is just an illusion.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of the potential existence of community forests on economic and social conditions in Ronggur Nihuta Village, Ronggur Nihuta District, Samosir Regency. The method used in this research is Quantitative Descriptive. The results of the research show: 1. The income level of pine sap tappers increased after pine sap tapping was Rp. 680,000,000 (46%). 2. Ownership of valuables increased after pine resin tapping, namely motorbikes, increased by 2, previously 32(80%), to 35(88%). 3. Ownership status of the house occupied is almost all owned by yourself (85%), the cost of renovating the previous house was IDR 680,000 (18%) to IDR 3,030,000 (82%). 4. The child's current education is high school (70%). Previous education costs were IDR 80,250,000 (46%) to IDR 91,250,000 (54%). 5. The health condition of the pine sap tapper is good in work activities (90%), the cost of medical treatment for family members was previously IDR 20,292,000 (48%) to IDR. 22,814,000 (52%).
