Abstract

The lack of Islamic religious education lesson hours, which is only 3 lesson hours per week at the SMK/MAK level, plus Prakerind (Industrial Work Practice) for 2 semesters, is of course not enough for a PAI teacher to teach a very broad PAI material. This research aims to determine the relationship between the values of Islamic religious education and the scout activity program at SMK N 1 Kerinci. It is hoped that once the connection between PAI values and scout activities is known, students will be interested in taking part in scout activities to learn and implement PAI values outside of class hours. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study type of research, the object of this research is the scout members of SMK N 1 Kerinci. The data in this research was obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. In analyzing the data the author used source triangulation. The results of this research show that there is a connection between the values of Islamic religious education in several Scout activity programs at SMK N 1 Kerinci. In the scout activity program implemented there are two values of Islamic religious education, namely the value of worship, including: congregational prayer, du'a, natural tadabur, muhasabah, and mutual help. Then the moral values include: Discipline, Patience, Politeness, Independence, Leadership, Willing to help. The habit of worshiping and cultivating these character values can improve the religious attitudes of Scout members.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the talaqqi method in learning Qur'an tahfidz halaqah tahfidz students at SDIT Baitul Hamdi Padang City. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and documentation studies. The source of the data was taken from ten informants through in-depth interviews. The informant is a teacher / ustadzah and student of halaqah tahfidz at SDIT Baitul Hamdi Kota Padang. All interview results were then analyzed thematically using Nvivo12 qualitative analysis software. Overall, the results of the analysis show that there are: first, in the implementation of the talaqqi method in learning Qur'an tahfidz halaqa tahfidz students there are three stages, namely planning; by preparing learning media, grouping students, making mutaba'ah books, and making student attendance lists, implementation; consisting of introduction, core and closing, evaluation; consists of midterm evaluation, and end-of-semester evaluation. Second, Factors supporting the implementation of the talaqqi method in learning Qur'an tahfidz are; The ability of teachers, cooperation between teachers and parents, using the same mushaf, then there is a tahfidz graduation. While the inhibiting factors are; Teachers do not have the ability to accumulate, children are often absent and short time. The results of this study can be used as evaluation material for teachers and as a determinant to choose the right method for the school in improving the quality and quantity of children's memorization.

Abstract

Cooperative Learning Model type Jigsaw is a learning model that can be used in the learning process to improve the reading skills of the student's understanding. The background of this study is poor reading skills, learning processes that are still centered on the teacher, students who have difficulty understanding the reading text and identifying the key ideas or basic ideas as well as important details contained in the text they read. The study aims to describe improved reading skills and understanding of the student using the Cooperative Learning model of the Jigsaw type. The research was carried out at the SDN 03 Pakan Kurai City of Bukittinggi. This type of research is class action research that consists of four stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research uses both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was carried out in two cycles, Cycle I consisting of two meetings and Cycle II consisted of one meeting. Subject of the research is the student of V SD State 03 Pakan Kurai City Bukittinggi. This study showed that there was an improvement in the reading skills of learners using the Cooperative Learning model of Jigsaw. Thus, the cooperative learning model of jigsaw can be an effective option for enhancing the learning skills of students.

Abstract

This research was conducted because there are still students who have low learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of the lecture learning method on learning outcomes in Islamic education subjects at SD Negeri 25 Pasir Tiku. This type of research is correlation. There are 44 students from class IV and V as the sample of this research. The purposive sampling technique used in the sampling process. Questionnaires and learning outcomes used to collect research data. The results showed that the results of the hypothesis test of the lecture method on learning outcomes were the significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and the t value of 6.078> t table 2.018, so it was concluded that H_0 was rejected, which means that there is an effect of the lecture learning method on the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education at SD Negeri 25 Pasir Tiku.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how giving rewards affects the learning motivation of class 4th students in Islamic Education at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan. The research was conducted from April to May 2024 at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan. A Quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental Design was used. Data were collected using questionnaires with a Likert scale. The Likert scale had four options: A, B, C, and D. There were two types of questionnaires: one for rewards and one for motivation. Data analysis included Descriptive Statistical Test, Classical Assumption Test, and Hypothesis Testing using SPSS Software Version 26. The T-test results showed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. This means the independent variable (reward) significantly affects the dependent variable (motivation). The adjusted R-Squared value showed that the control class had a determination coefficient of 0.604 or 60%, and the experimental class had a determination coefficient of 0.881 or 88%. Comparing these values, it was concluded that the treatment in the experimental class had a positive effect, with a 28% difference between the control and experimental classes. Therefore, giving rewards in education proves to impact students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the PAI teacher's strategy in teaching the formation of religious character in class XI students at SMA Negeri 9 Padang, the PAI teacher's strategy in cultivating the religious character of class Padang. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The research data sources were Islamic Religious Education teachers and class XI students at SMA N 9 Padang. The data collection techniques for this research include observation, interviews and documentation. All interview results were then analyzed systematically through three phases, namely (Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Drawing Conclusions). The results of the research show that the PAI teacher's strategy in teaching students' religious character takes the form of enriching religious content in class and strengthening Islamic school culture. The enrichment program carried out by PAI teachers is in the form of improving student learning achievement, preventing students from getting bored studying in class, and making it easier for students who are slower learners. Meanwhile, the implementation of Islamic culture in schools takes the form of reading prayers before studying, the Koran, Duha prayers, 5s culture, congregational prayers. The strategy used by teachers to raise awareness of students' religious character is to provide habituation and role models to students. The habits carried out are checking students' neatness, going to school on time, praying and memorizing short letters before learning begins, midday prayers, midday prayers in congregation. Meanwhile, providing a good example to students in the form of teachers entering class to teach on time, having a neat appearance, carrying out midday and noon prayers in congregation, teachers having good morals and obeying the rules. The strategies used by PAI teachers in monitoring students' religious character include providing rewards and punishments to students and taking attendance for five daily prayers and religious activities.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of an Islamic nuanced school culture in strengthening the profile of Pancasila students, as well as analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in strengthening the profile of Pancasila students through an Islamic nuanced school culture. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The informants in the research are the school principal, student representatives, curriculum representatives, and class XI students. . Data collection techniques used were interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques use source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this research indicate that there are three aspects that need to be considered in implementing an Islamic school culture to strengthen the Pancasila student profile, namely the learning process, raising awareness, and monitoring the values of the Pancasila student profile. The supporting factors in strengthening the profile of Pancasila students are the cooperation of teachers with the student council and support from the surrounding community, while the inhibiting factors are the lack of awareness of students in implementing an Islamic school culture and the lack of supervision from teachers and parents.

Abstract

The lecture method in the teaching and learning process has been developed into the storytelling method to address the inefficiency of PAI learning at SDN 13 Sungai Betung, thereby stimulating the activity, courage, and skills of students, both individually and in groups. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach (Hanel, 2013). To select informants, the researcher uses purposive sampling technique based on specific considerations or criteria. The informants in this study are the principal, the curriculum vice principal, the Islamic Education teacher, and five fifth-grade students chosen based on class rankings and teacher recommendations. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The implementation of the storytelling method involves the preparation of visual aids such as laptops, projectors, and animated videos, as well as classroom setup. The teacher must ensure the classroom is prepared, convey the learning objectives according to the Lesson Plan (RPP) and syllabus, and use storytelling by paying attention to eye contact, facial expressions, vocal emphasis, and body movements in sync with the animated videos. The success of this method heavily relies on the preparation of media, classroom readiness, and the teacher's storytelling skills, making the learning process engaging, effective, and easy for students to understand.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategies of Islamic religious education teachers in fostering student discipline at SMP N 4 Padang Kampung Pondok, Padang Barat District, Padang City. This research is a qualitative approach research, data sources are taken from all informants using primary and secondary data. To obtain interview results, this study used interview guidelines as a research instrument. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. As for the validity of the data that researchers use is triangulation (source triangulation and data triangulation) to produce data that can be accounted for. The results showed first, the PAI teacher's strategy in teaching discipline there are three teaching strategies used, namely making clear and comprehensive rules, strengthening character education programs, and building relationships approach. Second, the PAI teacher's strategy to foster student discipline awareness has two strategies in fostering student discipline awareness, namely through exemplary and training habituation. Third, the PAI teacher's strategy in supervising students' disciplinary behavior has three strategies, namely making a learning contract, applying punitive sanctions and rewarding.

Abstract

At the beginning of the new school year at the Modern Diniyah Pasia Islamic Boarding School, most students do not yet have a good discipline character. Such as violations in the form of students being late to school, not wearing attributes according to the provisions and so on. The efforts made by the school are to require extracurricular scouting activities for students. Because extracurricular scouting activities can shape students' character. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of forming students' disciplined character through scouting activities at the Modern Diniyah Pasia Islamic Boarding School. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, the object of this study is the scout members of the Mopdern Diniyah Pasia Islamic Boarding School. The data in this study were obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. In analyzing the data, the author used source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the process of forming students' disciplined character at the Modern Diniyah Pasia Islamic Boarding School is teachers as role models for students, routine training and sanctions that educate.
