Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of bottled drinking water and refilleddrinking water that sold around University of Muhammadiyah Kudus. It is in terms ofphysical, chemical, and microbiological parameters of drinking water based on SNI 01-3554-2006 and PMK no. 492 of 2010.The test was conducted byten samples of mineral water. Those are seven bottleddrinking water (Ades, Airmu, Aqua, Cleo, Crystalin, Le mineral and Vit) and three samplesof AMIU was taken from refill drinking water depots around campus, from depots inPasuruhan, Prambatan, and Purwosari. The research was conducted at PT SarigunaPrimatirta Kudus. It is a factory inKudus city which has testing requirements. The testscarried out chemical physics which included testing of TDS, pH, and three heavy metalelements and included testing of content of Fe, Mn and Cl2 (chlorine) elements, andmicrobiology namely TPC of presence of E-coli and Total Coliform. The results of physical and chemical measurements through total dissolved solid(TDS) showed that Airmu and Cleo under 10 ppm (demineral) and below 500 ppm for 8samples of mineral water. It is according to the TDS requirements of SNI, > 10 ppm fordemineralized and> 500 ppm for mineral water. The results of the pH test or the degree ofacidity are in normal pH which are around 7 of 9 samples and only one with an alkalinecondition is 8.37, namely sample from the Pasuruhan depot. The test for the presence ofheavy metals, Fe, Mn,is in good condition, showing the number zero with the brand testkit. In addition, for testing the presence of chlorine content, the results were above thethreshold, namely 0.05 ppm from the Pasuruhan depot water sample, 0.02 ppm from thePrambat depot and the Purwosari depot. This is not in accordance with SNI provisions forchlorine content of 0 ppm. Meanwhile, microbiologically of the TPC showed before dilutionwere only Cleo and Ades which were suitable for consumption because they were absentfrom bacterial contamination. While the TPC results after dilution, testing the differencebetween E-Coli and Total coliform resulted in 7 samples of bottled drinking water whichwere safe and feasible as drinking water according to SNI 01-3553-2006 and 3 samplesAMIU were not fulfilled to PMK No. 492/2010 as drinking water requirements.

Abstract

Fresh graduates are human resources that determine the sustainability of anorganization/company. Psychologically, they should have mature work readiness beforeentering the world of work. This study aims to develop a work readiness scale for freshgraduates. Psychological work readiness is defined as the extent to which graduates areperceived to have the attitudes and attributes that make them ready to succeed in the workenvironment. This scale contains four aspects that support the form of self-readiness forthe world of work, namely resilience/resilience, maturity/maturity, motivation, andinterpersonal skills. Participants in this study were 61 fresh graduates of Bachelor andDiploma programs in all majors with a graduation period of 2019-2021 and not yetworking. The data collection method used is the saturation sampling and snowballsampling technique. The data were analyzed for validity and tested for reliability with theSPSS program. Of the 72 items tested, 24 final items were obtained with an alphareliability of 0.938 and showed good validity. The work readiness scale for fresh graduateshas good psychometric properties and can be used for assessment and research.

Abstract

The purpose and benefits of this research is to develop an instrument used to measurepsychological attributes and it is hoped that this scale can be used for further research.Addiction is a form of psychological dependence between a person and a stimulus, whichis usually not always an object or substance. There are two aspects in this scale, namelythe psychological aspect and the physical aspect. The stages of Scale Development startfrom setting the measurement objectives, confirming the measuring area, andpsychometric testing. Furthermore, item writing includes the selection of the stimulusformat, the selection of the response format, the writing of items: rules, item testing. Thenthe psychometric test. The subjects of this study consisted of 53 male adolescentrespondents who smoked and were aged 13-19 years old, domiciled in the City/Regency ofMagelang. The way to collect this research data is through an online survey. The resultsof the content validity test by referring to the Aiken's V formula with a V value of 0.9, thereare 9 items that are good because the results have reached 0.9. And as many as 20 itemsthat must be revised because V is close to 0.9. Based on the results of the reliability test,Cronbach's alpha was 0.957, which means the item is very good. The smoking addictionscale in adolescents was developed and produced 60 items, then a reliability test wascarried out using SPSS statistic 22 software so that the final result of this scale was thatthere were 20 items that could represent the construct being measured.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a psychological scale of self-control insocial media. Self-control is the ability to control behavior and resist temptationsthat arise from within so as to be able to take action to avoid unwantedconsequences, self-control has three aspects, namely the ability to control behavior, cognitive control and decision control. The stages of this research includeconfirming the measuring area by selecting the attribute of self-control, thenmaking a blueprint for the self-control scale to limit the concept of self-control.Item writing refers to self-control indicators in social media, the content validitytest involves 3 raters and the readability test involves 4 respondents according tothe criteria. The data collection technique uses Convenien sampling, namely byuploading the "Social Media" questionnaire link on social media accounts. Thereliability test on the self-control scale produces a Cronbach Alpha coefficient of0.903, meaning that the reliability of the scale is very good. The final result of thisscale consists of 20 items.
