Abstract

This study is motivated by the lack of development of children's creativity abilities caused by the use of media, methods and learning approaches that are less varied so that the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of egg cartons in developing children's creativity in the Silaturahmi Islamic Kindergarten, V Koto Kampung Dalam District, Padang Pariaman Regency. This study uses quantitative research in the form of quasi-experimental with the type of nonequivalentcontrol grub design which aims to determine the independent variable of the remaining material of egg cartons on the dependent variable of children's creativity after use. Data collection techniques and used oral tests and action tests, in the form of statements as many as 6 items and this data analysis technique uses normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test SPSS 26 for windows. the results showed that the data was normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, based on the t test, it is known (2-tailed) is 0.01 <0.05 so it can be concluded that egg carton media has an effect in developing children's creativity at the Silaturahmi Islamic Kindergarten, V Koto Kampung Dalam District, Padang Pariaman Regency.

Abstract

This research to find out how the implementation of interpersonal communication between school principals and teachers improves performance. The theory that I use to discuss or explore this research is Bureaucracy Theory. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with the research informants used in this research being the principal and teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Tanjung Balai who are related to the research problem that the principal will discuss with teachers in improving performance. The results of the research found that the implementation of interpersonal communication between principals and teachers in improving performance involves effective interpersonal communication used by principals in paying attention to teachers' performance. However, not only by using effective communication, but also by having the principal continue to control or provide motivation to teachers to support improving teacher performance well.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of observations conducted by the author during observations at the State Vocational High School (SMK Negeri) in Padang City, which showed indications of the suboptimal implementation of teacher duties. The aim of this research is to obtain data and information regarding how well the teacher duties are carried out at the State Vocational High School in Padang City, as seen from several aspects: 1) lesson planning, 2) lesson delivery, 3) assessment of learning outcomes, and 4) implementation of follow-up programs. Therefore, the problem to be addressed in this research is, "How well is the implementation of teacher duties at the State Vocational High School in Padang City?" This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a research population of 677 teachers. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, and the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique resulted in 110 teachers as the research sample. The data processing revealed that, for the implementation of teacher duties in lesson planning, the average score was 4.28 with a Total Category Rate (TCR) of 85.5%, which falls into the "good" category. For the implementation of teacher duties in lesson delivery, the average score was 4.25 with a TCR of 85.1%, also falling into the "good" category. In assessing learning outcomes, the average score was 3.89 with a TCR of 77.8%, which is considered "fairly good." The implementation of teacher duties in carrying out follow-up programs received an average score of 3.82 with a TCR of 76.5%, placing it in the "fairly good" category. The overall average score is 4.06, with a TCR of 81.2%, indicating a "good" category. In conclusion, the implementation of teacher duties at the State Vocational High School in Padang City is considered "good."

Abstract

This research is motivated by transformational leadership, which refers to leaders who can motivate their followers to perform and manage their own interests for the benefit of the organization through individualized consideration, intellectual stimulation, and idealized influence, all of which result in extra effort from employees for better organizational effectiveness. However, in the Lubuk Basung District Public High School, it seems that transformational leadership has not been implemented effectively. The objectives of this research are to obtain data and information regarding 1) the transformational leadership of the school principal, 2) teacher's work motivation, and 3) the relationship between the school principal's transformational leadership style and teacher's work motivation in the Lubuk Basung District Public High School. The hypothesis proposed in this research is that there is a significant relationship between the school principal's transformational leadership and teacher's work motivation. This is a correlational research study. The population consists of all civil servant teachers teaching in the Lubuk Basung District Public High School, with a total of 83 individuals. The research sample is obtained using a proportional stratified random sampling technique with the Solvin formula, resulting in a sample size of 71 individuals. The research instrument used is a Likert Scale questionnaire with five answer options. Validity and reliability testing were performed using SPSS version 24. Data analysis involved the Product Moment Correlation test to examine the relationship between the two variables and the significance testing of the correlation using the t-test formula. The data analysis results show that 1) teacher's work motivation is at a relatively high interpretation level, at 79.40%, 2) the school principal's transformational leadership is interpreted as good, at 86.04%, and 3) there is a significant relationship between the two variables with a correlation coefficient of 0.550 and a correlation significance test of 5.465. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the school principal's transformational leadership is one of the factors that influence teacher's work motivation. This means that the higher the school principal's transformational leadership, the higher the motivation of teachers in the Lubuk Basung District Public High School.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of the SIM curriculum at SMA Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya. The research method used is qualitative. This type of research data uses data collection techniques such as interviews with subjects required in the research as well as documentation of school data required in the research. The results of the research show that the SIM at SMA Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya is developing its curriculum using E-KOSP. This system requires updating teaching modules and syllabi. Although there are challenges in curriculum adaptation, this system provides benefits in administrative efficiency. However, security concerns and document collection before the first upload are important for accreditation. Therefore, SMA Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya needs to strengthen security procedures and document control in using E-KOSP. By improving security systems, schools can ensure that important data and information in their curriculum is well protected. And SMA Muhammadiyah 9 Surabaya must also monitor and evaluate the impact of using this system on the quality of education and learning in their school, and try to continue to improve the learning process based on the results of this evaluation. Thus, the use of E-KOSP can provide greater benefits for the development of education in this school.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of curriculum management in enhancing the quality of education at SMPN 40 Surabaya. The research methodology employed a case study approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that effective curriculum management plays a crucial role in optimizing resource utilization, identifying learning needs, and measuring learning outcomes. With proficient curriculum management, schools can design more relevant and efficient teaching and learning processes, improve the quality of teaching by educators, and enhance student learning achievements. The results of this research provide valuable insights for SMPN 40 Surabaya and other educational institutions in their efforts to improve the quality of education by prioritizing effective curriculum management.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations made by the author during observations at SMK N 9 Padang, from the observations made it appears that there are still teachers who have poor communication skills in learning. This research aims to obtain data and information regarding how good the communication skills of teachers at SMK N 9 Padang are in learning according to students' perceptions seen from several aspects: 1) conveying messages orally, 2) conveying messages in writing, and 3) receiving messages. Therefore, the problem that will be studied in this research is, "How good are the communication skills of SMK N 9 Padang teachers in learning according to students' perceptions". This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a research population of 1268 students and the sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10% with the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique obtaining 95 students as the research sample. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire with a Liker scale model. From the results of data processing, teachers' communication skills in learning when conveying messages orally obtained an average score of 3.6 in the good category, for teachers' communication skills in learning when conveying messages in writing, they obtained an average score of 3.4, which was in the quite good category. , and for teachers' communication skills in learning when receiving messages, they obtained an average score of 3.5 in the quite good category. Overall it can be concluded that the teacher's communication skills in learning at SMK N 9 Padang are in the quite good category.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the mobile samsat program in motor vehicle tax payer services at samsat Padang Pariaman. This research discusses the success of the mobile samsat program in motor vehicle tax payer services at samsat Padang Pariaman seen from aspects of program effectiveness. In this research the author used qualitative research methods through case studies and data collection through interviews, observation and literature study. The results of this research show that the mobile Samsat program for motor vehicle taxpayer services has been operating quite effectively, where the mobile Samsat program which is already operating has had a good influence on the taxpayer community who want to pay motor vehicle tax without having to go to the Samsat office.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the conflict management abilities of PGSD FKIP UNRI students who join the organization. When joining an organization, students will face many people with various characters to achieve the same goal. Therefore, various kinds of conflicts will arise that need to be faced and resolved by students who join the organization. Students' conflict management skills while in an organization can be a training ground for students to prepare for the world of work later. This research is qualitative research, which was conducted on 15 respondents using a questionnaire instrument. In its implementation, the questionnaire was distributed to students who were participating or had previously participated in the PGSD FKIP UNRI Study Program. All respondents answered questions online. The research results show that all respondents can be said to be good or indicated to be good in managing conflict according to the indicators used.

Abstract

This research discusses financial management at UPT SDN 234 Gresik, to extract funds, manage School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds, make reports and financial accountability, and conduct supervision. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Primary data was obtained through interviews with school treasurers, and additional data from literature studies. Thus, the focus of this research is on the financial management aspect of the school. The research results show that this educational institution implements financial principles involving fairness, efficiency, transparency, and public accountability in managing its financial resources. The school's funding cycle includes steps such as sourcing funds, planning, supervision, and financial reporting. The use of the ARKAS application helps improve transparency and efficiency, although there are still challenges related to reliance on a stable internet connection. This research provides valuable insights for stakeholders in the world of education, efforts to improve the quality of education in the school environment are important.
