Abstract

Koperasi Syariah BMT Itqan Kota Bandung is an Islamic savings and loan cooperative that provides Sharia-based financing services. However, the cooperative faces challenges in increasing its membership. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand trust and personal selling on the decision to become a member of Koperasi Syariah BMT Itqan Kota Bandung. The research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive-verificative approach. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach, involving 100 active cooperative members as respondents. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS version 26. The results indicate that brand trust and personal selling have a positive and significant influence on the decision to become a cooperative member, both simultaneously and partially. This study provides recommendations for Koperasi Syariah BMT Itqan to enhance brand trust and the quality of personal selling interactions to attract more new members.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of live streaming, video marketing, and flash sale on purchasing decisions of Shopee platform users, with research subjects being students of Universitas Bandar Lampung. Using a total sample of 98 respondents and multiple linear regression analysis, the findings reveal that live streaming and video marketing features have a significant positive impact on purchasing decisions, with coefficient values of 0.212 and 0.327, respectively. Conversely, the flash sale feature has a negative but insignificant influence, with a coefficient value of -0.028. Simultaneously, the three features contribute significantly to purchasing decisions, with an R² value of 36.6%. These results suggest that live streaming and video marketing are more effective in capturing consumer attention, while flash sales require further evaluation regarding stock limitations and time pressure. These findings have strategic implications for e-commerce platforms and sellers to optimize interactive features to enhance shopping experiences and consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of third-grade elementary students in Social Science (IPS) through the Project-Based Learning (PBL) model. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles involving 32 students, consisting of 18 female students and 14 male students, at an elementary school in Gresik, East Java. Data was collected through written tests, Student Worksheets (LKS), observation sheets, and field notes, using both test and non-test data collection techniques. Data analysis employed both qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of the study show significant improvement in students' critical thinking skills, with an average critical thinking score of 86.09 in the second cycle and a completeness rate of 88%. Improvement was observed in indicators such as identifying problems, gathering information, finding solutions, and using logical reasoning. However, students' ability to use clear language still needs further enhancement. Based on the findings, the PBL model proves to be effective in enhancing critical thinking skills in third-grade students in Social Science and is recommended as a sustainable teaching strategy.

Abstract

This article discusses the evaluation of the Islamic Religious Education learning program at SDN 430 Pandoso, Luwu Regency using the Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) evaluation model. The purpose of this study is for researchers to determine and assess the success of the learning program and its suitability for the Islamic learning curriculum at the school. This research discusses program evaluation based on the CIPP model proposed by Stufflebeam. In this study, context, input, process, and product are used as the four elements of evaluation. The study involved 32 fourth and fifth grade students and Islamic religious education teachers. Information for this study was collected through documentation, interviews, observation and questionnaires. Furthermore, qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis were used as methods to analyze the data in this study. The results of this study indicate that there are discrepancies between programs and learning plans, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, learning media, learning methods and student learning outcomes. Based on the results of research on the evaluation of the Islamic Religious Education learning program using the CIPP model obtained an average percentage of 81% with a very good category based on the results of the input evaluation of 78% with a good category, process evaluation of 85% with a very good category and product evaluation of 86% with a very good category. As a recommendation, this study suggests concrete solutions such as focused training for teachers, utilization of technology in learning, using active learning methods and providing additional learning to students so as to create effective and quality learning. The evaluation of the learning process also highlighted the need for guidance to teachers in making and operating learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to explore enjoyable Quran learning strategies at SD Taman Siswa Huta 1, Bandar District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, and identify the challenges faced by teachers in implementing these strategies. The research used a field study method with a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through observation, in-depth interviews with three key informants (Quran teacher, general teacher, and student affairs teacher), and relevant documentation. The main findings of this study indicate that enjoyable learning strategies can be applied through game-based approaches, visual and audio media, as well as phonetic and tajwid instruction with Islamic songs. These strategies proved effective in increasing student interest and creating a more lively classroom atmosphere. However, the main challenges faced include limited facilities, differences in students' levels of understanding, and lack of parental support in the learning process at home. This study recommends enhancing digital learning facilities and strengthening cooperation between schools and parents to support the success of enjoyable Quran learning strategies.

Abstract

The implementation of the Project Based Learning model aims to determine students' abilities in producing teaching materials. Teaching materials developed by students in the form of Indonesian language teaching materials are made in the form of poster. The implementation of the project-based learning model was carried out for students majoring in Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Borneo Tarakan in the form of a One-Shot Case Study experimental research. The number of student samples was 43 people who took the Elementary School Indonesian Language Education course. The research data was obtained from the analysis of product observation sheets with a product feasibility scale. Data analysis with percentage technique and processed descriptively. The results of this research show that the Indonesian language teaching material posters developed by students are very suitable for use with a score of 95. It can be concluded that the Project Based Learning learning model can improve learning outcomes by developing Indonesian language teaching material posters for students.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of a quality culture-based approach in addressing the dynamics of change at SMP Negeri 37 Sinjai. This research aims to analyze the strategy, the application of discipline and responsibility values, and the obstacles faced in building a culture of quality in schools. The research was conducted using a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with the school principal and the head of curriculum, focusing on experiences and perspectives regarding the implementation of a quality culture. The results showed that the school's vision and mission are oriented towards the formation of a generation with character, excellence in achievement and global competitiveness. The implementation of quality culture is carried out through competency-based programs, technological innovation, religious activities, as well as habituation of disciplinary values and responsibilities that are strengthened by a system of sanctions and rewards. Teachers act as role models and mentors, while students are trained to practice these values in their daily activities. This strategy has proven effective in creating a conducive educational environment, improving the quality of learning and building responsible and disciplined student characters. The implementation of a quality culture at SMP Negeri 37 Sinjai supports the creation of quality and sustainable education. There is a need to strengthen teacher training, regular evaluation systems and the use of technology to support learning innovation. A collaborative approach involving all stakeholders is essential to ensure the success of a holistic quality culture.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the business unit's strategy in facing dynamic market competition. The focus of the research is to identify internal and external factors that affect the performance of the business unit and evaluate the effectiveness of the strategies implemented. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method on one of the business units in a particular sector, such as manufacturing or technology. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with business unit managers, analysis of financial statements, and literature review. The results showed that the strategies of product differentiation, operational optimization, and adaptation to technology were key elements to improve the competitiveness of the business unit. SWOT analysis revealed key strengths, such as product innovation capabilities, but also indicated threats from the emergence of new competitors. The study emphasizes the importance of synergy between strategic vision, innovation, and efficiency in supporting business sustainability. The study provides strategic recommendations for other business units looking to improve their competitiveness in the global market. The findings suggest that the right strategy can help businesses be more adaptive to market dynamics and maintain relevance in an increasingly competitive era.

Abstract

Background: Mobile learning has emerged as a transformative tool in education, offering flexibility and accessibility for students. However, its role in enhancing academic performance remains underexplored, particularly in the context of gender dynamics. This study investigates the relationship between mobile learning, academic performance, and the moderating influence of gender, providing insights for leveraging mobile technologies in educational settings. Methods: This research employed a quantitative research approach using a cross-sectional survey to collect quantitative data from 156 students across three faculties at Shanker Dev Campus. A structured questionnaire measured mobile learning, academic performance, and gender. Data analysis was performed using SPSS, incorporating inferential statistical tools to analysis. Results: The analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between mobile learning and academic performance. Regression results demonstrated that mobile learning accounts for 40.2% of the variance in academic performance, highlighting its substantial impact. Gender had a small yet significant independent effect on academic performance. However, moderation analysis indicated that gender does not significantly alter the relationship between mobile learning and academic outcomes. Conclusion: The findings underscore the effectiveness of mobile learning in improving academic performance, with gender differences playing a minimal role in this relationship. Integrating mobile learning into educational strategies can benefit students across diverse demographics. Novelty: This study uniquely explores gender's moderating role in mobile learning's impact on academic performance, offering new perspectives on equity and inclusivity in technology-driven education.

Abstract

Field Work Practice (PKL) is an integral part of vocational education in Vocational High Schools (SMK) which aims to connect theory and practice to form student competencies according to the needs of the business world and the industrial world (DUDI). This study aims to evaluate the management of street vendors in the Office Management and Business Services Expertise Program at SMK Negeri Samarinda. With a qualitative approach, data is collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from students, supervisors, and industry partners. The results of the study show that although most students feel that street vendors are relevant to their field of expertise, there are still challenges in mentoring and adapting to work culture. Program evaluations tend not to involve optimal input from industry partners. Strategic recommendations include strengthening partnerships, mentor training, collaboration-based evaluation, and developing soft skills modules. With the implementation of this strategy, it is hoped that street vendor management can produce graduates who are competent and ready to compete in the world of work.
