Abstract

Sigapiton is one of the villages in Ajibata District, Toba Regency, with an area of ​​70.80 km² (BPS, 2018). Sigapiton Village consists of Hamlet I (Lumban Butar-butar 1 and Lumban Butar-butar 2), Hamlet II (Sosor Dolok, Sosor Baringin, Lumban Nauli, Lumban Hasatan). Sigapiton Village has a total of 175 heads of families, assuming that each family has 4-7 people. Community Service Lectures (KPPM) are a form of practical learning activities in the context of applying interdisciplinary knowledge which students carry out directly in the community. This tourist attraction revitalization activity begins by explaining the purpose of the service, namely so that the community can take advantage of the tourist attraction in order to increase the number of tourists visiting the village. By carrying out the revitalization of this tourist attraction in Sigapiton Village, it is hoped that it will be able to encourage local residents, especially Sigapiton residents, to maintain and develop this tourist attraction.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan siswa SMK Negeri 6 Kabupaten Tangerang dalam memasuki dunia kerja melalui pelatihan pembuatan CV profesional dan pengenalan proses rekrutmen. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan siswa kelas XII dari berbagai jurusan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, ditemukan bahwa mayoritas siswa belum memahami standar pembuatan CV yang baik serta belum familiar dengan tahapan dalam proses seleksi kerja. Melalui pelatihan ini, peserta dibekali dengan pengetahuan praktis tentang cara menyusun CV, simulasi wawancara kerja, serta penggunaan platform pencari kerja online. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam mempersiapkan diri menghadapi dunia kerja.

Abstract

Community Service Lecture (KPPM) is an academic activity that aims to implement science and technology to the community through a multidisciplinary-based empowerment program. The KPPM activity carried out in Sibuntuon Village, Dolok Pardamean District, Simalungun Regency, aims to improve community welfare through various programs, such as mutual cooperation, socialization of grass cutting machine maintenance and repair, and making garbage signs. The methods used include location observation, coordination with village officials, implementation of social activities, and program evaluation. The results of the activity show that the mutual cooperation program helps increase public awareness of environmental cleanliness, while socialization of grass cutting machine maintenance provides insight for the community about the maintenance of agricultural equipment. In addition, the installation of garbage signs contributes to public education regarding the types of waste and their decomposition time. In conclusion, KPPM has a positive impact on increasing public awareness and participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness and the use of simple technology to support agricultural activities.

Abstract

The digital era demands mastery of technological skills as basic competencies for young generations. This paper outlines a community service program aimed at introducing HTML and CSS as the foundation of web development to students at SMK Daarul Shafa. The program is designed to bridge the digital divide by focusing on mastering markup language and styling which form the basis of web application development. The main objectives of the program include providing comprehensive understanding of the basic structure of HTML, application of CSS for visual design, development of simple web-based projects, and building computational thinking mindset. Program implementation involves project-based learning methods that integrate direct practice, problem solving, and collaboration. Despite facing challenges in the form of limited infrastructure and varying levels of digital literacy among students, the program successfully improved technical skills and soft skills such as creativity, problem solving, and teamwork. Program results show significant improvement in understanding basic web development concepts and students' confidence in using technology. This program serves as a strategic step in preparing students to face digital transformation, while supporting Indonesia's vision to enhance human resource competitiveness in the digital era

Abstract

Introduction to computer technology and basic networking is a crucial step in enhancing students' knowledge, particularly at SMP MKGR Sepatan. With rapid technological advancement, understanding hardware, software, and computer networks has become essential for preparing young generations to face workforce challenges. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of teaching computer technology and basic networking in improving students' knowledge. Through a tailored curriculum and interactive learning, students are expected to grasp fundamental concepts of computer networks, computer operations, and troubleshooting common system issues. The findings indicate that introducing basic computer technology and networking not only enhances students' technical skills but also fosters a positive attitude toward information technology, which can be applied both in daily life and the professional world. Therefore, integrating computer technology and basic networking into the curriculum at SMP MKGR Sepatan is vital in preparing students for the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology compels companies to continuously adapt by developing information systems that are both efficient and responsive to dynamic business needs. Low-code platforms have emerged as an alternative solution that accelerates system development without requiring extensive programming skills. This study aims to evaluate the advantages and limitations of low-code platforms in the context of enterprise information system development. The research employs a combination of literature review, observations of implementations in several companies, and interviews with IT practitioners. The evaluation results indicate that low-code platforms offer several strengths, including faster development times, easier integration, and enhanced collaboration between technical and non- technical teams. However, certain limitations were also identified, such as constraints in handling complex customizations, risks of vendor lock-in, and challenges related to scalability and data security management. Therefore, the adoption of low-code platforms should be strategically considered based on the specific needs and complexity of the systems being developed.

Abstract

The advancement of technology demands that the younger generation possess strong digital skills, including in managing school organizations. This Community Service Activity (PkM) aims to enhance digital literacy and improve the operational efficiency of the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) through Microsoft Excel training at SMP Negeri 3 Teluknaga. This activity is an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program at Universitas Pamulang. The methods used include lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, focusing on financial management, schedule planning, and OSIS membership administration. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in students' understanding and skills in using Excel for organizational needs. In addition to providing practical benefits, the training also lays the foundation for a smarter, more transparent, and data-driven organization. This activity is expected to be a starting point in realizing a "Smart OSIS" that is efficient and adaptive to the demands of digitalization in the educational environment.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to introduce the basics of website development using HTML to students of SMA Gita Kirtti 3 South Jakarta. The lack of students' understanding of the basic structure of web pages is the background to this activity. Through a learning by doing approach, training is carried out in the form of direct practice in creating HTML-based profile pages. The evaluation results show an increase in students' interest and understanding of basic web technology. This activity is expected to be an initial foundation for improving digital literacy in high school environments.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has greatly influenced the education sector, especially in the integration of digital literacy from an early age. This community service activity introduces basic computer literacy and Microsoft Word to 4th-grade students at SDN 3 Tanjung Lago, Banyuasin. The aim is to enhance students' skills and confidence in using technology to support learning in the digital era. The method used includes interactive lectures, demonstrations, group practice, and individual tasks. Despite limitations in infrastructure and students' initial knowledge, the activity received a positive response from both students and teachers. The result shows that students demonstrated increased enthusiasm and basic proficiency in operating computers and Microsoft Word. The activity is expected to be sustainable as a foundation for developing 21st-century skills in rural elementary school students.
