Abstract

Development inequality in Indonesia remains a strategic issue, with a significant gap between the western and eastern regions. Various factors such as corruption, bureaucratic inefficiency, and lack of transparency in public fund management have undermined the effectiveness of development programs. This article proposes a blockchain-based model design as an innovative approach to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the distribution of national development funds. Through a consortium blockchain model equipped with smart contracts, every transaction can be traced in real time, while fund disbursement is executed automatically based on verified project milestones. This mechanism enables active public participation in monitoring processes while minimizing the potential for budget misuse. With an estimated initial investment of IDR 110–195 billion and potential annual savings of IDR 150–200 trillion, the system implementation promises a Return on Investment (ROI) of 1000–1500% within three to five years. The article also presents the system architecture design, business process notation for stakeholder involvement, and business process notation for community engagement in monitoring and supervising development projects implemented in their respective regions. This approach establishes transparency in the distribution of development programs from the central government to regional areas, which can be directly monitored by local communities.

Abstract

To support secondary education, proper facilities, including a school library, are essential. The literature in the library must be well-managed to ensure user satisfaction and comfort. However, many school libraries still rely on traditional management methods, as seen in SMKN 6 Kota Jambi's Library. To ensure the successful development of a web-based library information system, a feasibility analysis is required. This analysis helps determine if the project should proceed. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of the system from technical, economic, and organizational perspectives. Using a descriptive approach, the research collected qualitative data through observations, interviews, and document studies, with technique triangulation to ensure validity. The findings show that the library has adequate hardware, software, and network support for the system's development, with a technical feasibility score of 75.59. The economic analysis shows an ROI of 2.3, resulting in a score of 100, and the organizational feasibility score is 93.33. The overall feasibility average is 89.64, indicating that the project is feasible.

Abstract

An information system is an integration between information technology and human activities that play a role in the management, processing, and dissemination of information within an organization or a particular environment. Along with technological advances, website-based information systems have become an effective solution for companies in managing office inventory more efficiently and structured. This research focuses on the design of a website-based office inventory information system aimed at simplifying the performance of admins in the inventory data management process. However, this matter has weaknesses in its management such as still using Microsoft Excel so it is vulnerable to malware if employees want to request the data with a USB that becomes a corrupt file and the occurrence of inventory management errors that cause differences between the actual conditions or human error. Before designing the system, an analysis of the existing inventory mechanism was conducted using the PIECES approach (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service) to evaluate the performance of the old system and identify improvement needs. In addition, system modeling was carried out using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) through use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The final result of this research is an efficient and integrated website-based office inventory information system.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based Pension Information and Personnel Data System (SIMPENDA) as a digital solution for managing employee data and pension administration processes at the Kudus Regency Agriculture and Food Service. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results show that SIMPENDA is able to integrate all personnel and pension processes into one efficient and secure digital platform. This system provides convenience in managing employee data, calculating pensions, and tracking pension administration status in real time. Based on functional tests and user acceptance tests (UAT), all system features functioned well and obtained an average user satisfaction score of 4.65 out of 5, indicating excellent user acceptance. This system has been proven to improve administrative efficiency, data accuracy, and transparency of the pension process. In addition, SIMPENDA also supports the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), in accordance with government policy to encourage the digitalization of public services. These findings not only benefit the Kudus Regency Agriculture and Food Service, but can also be used as a model for personnel digitalization in other regional government agencies, which is expected to improve the overall quality of public services.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the performance of two classification algorithms, namely Decision Tree and Random Forest, in predicting the level of airline passenger satisfaction. The data used in this research were obtained from the Airline Passenger Satisfaction dataset available on Kaggle, which contains various variables related to passengers’ flight experiences. The research employed a quantitative experimental method using the CRISP-DM (Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining) approach, consisting of several stages including data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. The modeling process was carried out using RapidMiner Studio, with the dataset divided into 70% for training and 30% for testing. The experimental results indicate that the Decision Tree algorithm achieved an accuracy rate of 91.77%, while the Random Forest algorithm achieved a higher accuracy of 93.37%. This difference demonstrates that Random Forest possesses better generalization capabilities and more stable performance in handling complex and varied data. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Random Forest algorithm performs more effectively in predicting airline passenger satisfaction levels. Moreover, this study highlights the importance of selecting an appropriate algorithm in data analysis processes to support data-driven decision-making within the aviation industry.

Abstract

The increasing demand for internet access at Pondok Pesantren Golden Star has supported the students’ learning process; however, uncontrolled usage may disrupt discipline, worship activities, and the daily routines within the pesantren environment. To address this issue, this study aims to design and develop an internet access time management system using Mikrotik, capable of regulating and restricting internet usage according to schedules determined by the institution. The primary objective of this research is to produce an automated and effective access control system that aligns with the policies of the pesantren. This study employs the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) methodology, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, simulation, prototyping, implementation, monitoring, and management. During the implementation stage, the Mikrotik configuration involved IP addressing, DHCP server setup, firewall filter rules, and time-based schedulers. The results indicate that the system successfully restricts student internet access to the period between 06:00 and 17:00, while automatically blocking access outside these hours. Testing confirms that the time-based restriction feature operates consistently and reliably, meeting the institution's requirements for fostering a more conducive environment for learning and worship. In conclusion, the Mikrotik-based internet access time management system is effective, easy to maintain, and has the potential for further development in accordance with the needs of the pesantren

Abstract

The use of internet services in school environments requires an effective management system to ensure secure, stable, and learning-oriented access. SMK Miftakhul Huda Way Areng faces several issues, including uncontrolled internet usage, uneven bandwidth distribution, and the absence of a system capable of limiting and monitoring user activities individually. This study aims to design and implement a user-management system using MikroTik RouterOS as a solution for regulating internet access for students and teachers. The methodology includes network design, IP address configuration, hotspot authentication setup, user-profile creation, and functional system testing. The network was structured with segmented interfaces, where ether1 serves as the ISP uplink, ether2 as the administrative network, and ether3 as the hotspot network. The implementation results indicate that the system successfully enforces access restrictions based on user type, allowing a maximum of two devices for teachers and one device for students. Additionally, the system enhances network security, organizes internet usage, and simplifies monitoring tasks for administrators. In conclusion, MikroTik RouterOS–based user management is effective for controlling internet access in educational environments and can be adopted as a sustainable solution for schools.

Abstract

Advances in communication and information technology have led to changes in the way elementary school students learn, making it more interactive through the use of digital media. The purpose of this research is to create an interactive e-Module for Indonesian language lessons, focusing on the ability of fourth-grade students to identify main ideas and supporting ideas. This research uses the Four-D (4D) model, which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate steps. Research participants included fourth-grade teachers, expert validators, and 25 students from SD Negeri 3 Tambah Dadi. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and questionnaires for expert validation and practicality trials by students. The validation results show that the e-Module is highly feasible based on assessments from media experts (4.7), material experts (4.7), language experts (4.0), and practitioners (4.8). Small and large group trials yielded an average practicality score between 4.6 and 4.63, which is categorized as very practical. The research findings indicate that interactive e-Modules can increase students' interest in learning, facilitate understanding of material, and provide support for independent learning with a digital literacy approach. Therefore, the interactive e-Module that has been created is very suitable as an alternative teaching material for Indonesian language lessons at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive E-Module based on Google Sites as a learning medium to support the implementation of blended learning. The development process employed a Research and Development (R&D) model, consisting of several stages: needs analysis, design, product development, expert validation, limited trials, and revisions. The E-Module was designed to include learning materials, interactive videos, automatic quizzes, and user-friendly navigation accessible across various devices. Validation results from material experts and media experts indicated that the developed interactive E-Module falls into the “highly feasible” category, with only minor revisions required. Trials conducted with students showed that the E-Module successfully increased learning interest, facilitated better understanding of the material, and supported independent learning within the context of blended learning. Therefore, this Google Sites–based interactive E-Module is considered effective and practical as an alternative digital learning medium.

Abstract

This study aims to address administrative inefficiencies within the East Java Provincial General Elections Commission (KPU) in the issuance process of Assignment Letters (ST) and Official Travel Letters (SPD), which have been managed manually using separate documents. Such a process often leads to delays, data duplication, and input errors. To overcome these issues, this research designed and implemented a web-based information system called SimpelTugas (Simple Task Management System) to digitalize and integrate the workflow. The system was developed using the prototype method, allowing close interaction between developers and users to ensure alignment with KPU’s administrative procedures. The main features of SimpelTugas include digital verification, integration of ST and SPD data, and automatic document numbering, all of which replace previously manual tasks. The implementation results show that the system significantly improves administrative efficiency, reduces errors, accelerates document validation, and enhances transparency in official travel reporting. Consequently, the adoption of SimpelTugas represents a strategic step toward institutional digital transformation and the modernization of administrative governance within the East Java Provincial KPU.
