<![CDATA[This research aims to increase students' reading literacy through the application of the problem based learning model in class V of SD Negeri 010 Talontam for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is classroom action research which was carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 23 fifth grade students at SD Negeri 010 Talontam for the 2022/2023 academic year. Research data was obtained through tests. The increase in Reading Literacy is shown by the increase in the average percentage of students' reading literacy which increased from 46.52% in the pre-cycle to 56.52% in the first cycle, and then to 76.52% in the second cycle. This shows an increase in reading literacy. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the problem based learning method used in class V of SD Negeri 010 Talontam for the 2022/2023 academic year has improved students' reading literacy skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Every activity is bound to be presented with obstacles, this research describes the obstacles to the solutions suggested by the researchers. Based on the research results, extracurricular activities are divided into 2 (two) parts, namely mandatory and optional extracurricular activities. This is in the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 63 of 2014 concerning extracurricular activities in educational units. One of the extracurricular activities that must be implemented at every level is the Scout Education extracurricular as implemented in the 2013 curriculum. Scout Education plays a role as a vehicle for complementary activities in the learning process with the aim of forming and developing student character. In the implementation of Scout Education extracurricular activities there are 3 (three) models, namely the Block Model, Actualization Model and Regular Model. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely the research results are presented descriptively.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to explain the importance of literacy as a form of character education in overcoming moral degradation in elementary schools. Moral degradation, a decline in attitudes and behavior in elementary school students, is caused by a lack of instilling a spirit of character in students. There are many cases and problems regarding morals in the surrounding environment. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are based on library sources such as journals, articles and books. Then, the results obtained show that literacy activities in elementary schools as a form of character education according to various literature sources can be very useful, especially for overcoming moral degradation in elementary schools. <![CDATA[This research aims to provide a clear picture regarding the lack of cultural and civic literacy which can reduce the value of national character. Indonesia is a country that has a diversity of cultures, religions, customs and so on. The developments of the times and technology that have occurred have made it easy for foreign culture to enter and be absorbed by society, this has caused quite a few Indonesian people to shift their lifestyle to follow foreign and alien cultures to their own culture. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods by collecting data from library sources. The results show that the implementation of cultural and civic literacy in Indonesia is still relatively low, which can reduce national character values such as religiosity, nationalism, independence, the spirit of mutual cooperation and integrity. Therefore, it is necessary to increase public awareness and the active role of education to increase cultural and civic literacy in order to optimize national character values.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to find out learning-friendly aspects for children with special needs at Bungo Regency Elementary Schools. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques include: observation and interviews. The research subjects or informants were the school principal and class teacher/homeroom teacher. The results of the research show that: (1) in this case the principal as the highest decision holder in an institution greatly influences the sustainability of children with special needs who wish to attend Normal School. (2) There are many problematic factors that exist regarding the implementation of a learning-friendly environment in the 3 elementary schools discussed in this article. However, the most basic and very influencing factor is the problem of the school not having special counselors for children with special needs but they accept children with special needs at the school. (3) The efforts made by the school to overcome the problems faced are that the school must first find a teacher who can specifically guide children with special needs so that these children can catch up with other normal children.]]>

<![CDATA[Collaboration between parents and schools plays a very important role in supporting children with special needs in their educational process. This article explores the importance of effective collaboration between parents and educators in a joint effort to understand, plan, and provide appropriate support for children with special needs. This article uses survey and interview research methods at SD N 23/VI Rantau Panjang I. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the importance of cooperation between parents and schools in supporting children with special needs. The form of cooperation between educational institutions and parents in recognizing the character of early childhood children with special needs is by 1). Carrying out early detection of students, 2). Carrying out parent meeting classes, 3). Carrying out parent consultation days, 4). Collaborating with psychologists/therapists if necessary.]]>

Inclusive education is a form of realizing equal distribution of education without discrimination, both children with special needs and normal children can receive the same education. This research method uses literature studies sourced from books, journals and others. <![CDATA[This article explores the impact of technological advances on elementary school students' cultural and civic knowledge. Even though it provides broad access to information, the negative impacts of technology such as social isolation and lack of direct interaction with cultural diversity make understanding cultural values and citizenship difficult. Reduced social engagement is also a challenge, limiting students' role as active citizens. The proposed solution involves collaboration between teachers, parents, and communities to create an educational environment that balances technology and hands-on experiences grounded in cultural and civic values. This article emphasizes the importance of preparing elementary school students to acquire strong cultural knowledge and a deep sense of citizenship, helping them become active and responsible members of society.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this research is to determine the theoretical model of curriculum for children with special needs. This type of research is qualitative in nature with data collection mainly through books and journals as data sources. The data analysis technique is to use data triangulation. The research objects are books and journals about children with special needs. The research results concluded that the theoretical model in adapting the curriculum for children with special needs is quite good because the teaching models used are the regular education model, the open education/natural school model, as well as the home education service model in inclusive education.]]>
